When I am in Chiang Mai ( fahpawa* Chapter 1), one of my high school friend chat with me on Facebook: "Fahsai, are you in Chiang Mai, I am doing my internship in Chiang Rai would you like to come?" For me it like, "of course I am going but how do I get there". So I contact my sister for information to Chiang Rai. She told me that it takes about 2 -3 hours and just take the green bus. For more details about the green bus: Green Bus Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai Website **

My plan is just I am going to Chiang Rai tomorrow and say hi to my friend.

At 5.00am. in the morning, I take taxi to Green Bus Terminal (taxi is 200 baht, very expensive) because I need to catch a bus at 6.00am.

I arrive here at 5.30am. there are a lot of people already and I got the last seat to Mae Fah Luang. Later on, I find out that we can book the ticket online and pay at 7/11. The ticket is 155 baht. I get off at Mae Fah Luang because my friend (another girl) she would like to join my trip but the other girl who is on internship she live quite far so just the two of us.

Oh my god, I do not expect that, the bus is so high class. O_O

The bus is so comfortable, I sit on row 11 and fall asleep for a while. When I wake up, I am already in Chiang Rai.

Then I call my friend to pick me up.

We start with Baandum Museum .

Baandum Museum is a work of Professor Thawan Dutchanee. It is very beautiful architecture. (Photo of Baandum Museum take by Canon 600D + 10-22 / Precess by light room).

Oh!!! Snake Show, the snake is so docile you can touch it. But for me...No thank you ...Just take some photos that enough.

Our next destination is Singha Park (Boonrawd Farm). The farm is open for tourists but the most beautiful moment will be in November because flowers are booming all over the farm but it is okay we can go to tea yard instead. : )

We are walking around and taking some photos then we have to move on because there is not that many things here. We heard that there is Khun Korn Waterfall near the farm, only 18 KM. far so we start our GPS and move on.

We have to walk to the waterfall, it is quite far but we are already here so let's go>>>

While walking, there are so many things coming up in my mind...If we see snake what do we do???... In the end we just walk back because it is getting dark soon (we do not reach to the waterfall). So we ride motorcycle back to the city and look for a place to stay.

I have found one hostel on Facebook calls "Happynest Hostel", so I call them if they have any available rooms and luckily it is not full today. Follow to the hostel review here: Happynest Hostel : The happiness hostel for Backpacker.

We are so tired so we take a nap for a while and wake up with hungry...But where shell we go?, what shell we eat?, or is there any walking street here?

"Yes, there is a walking street calls Kon Muan at Sankhong Street" Staff said.

Finally, we arrive to Kon Muan Walking Street, it is ordinary walking street selling food and souvenirs. There is one thing that I am so impressed here is The Traditional Performance.

We walk around here until 8.00pm. and we still do not know what to eat so we decide to get out from the street. Then my friend takes me to Chiang Rai Clock Tower at around 9.00pm, there is Light and Sound Show. This is definitely Chiang Rai Unseen.

At the end, we just ride a motorcycle around the city and go back to the hostel. Tomorrow, I have to go back to Chiang Mai and go back to my real life in Bangkok.

This is an unexpected trip and I have nothing plan. Where to eat? Where to sleep? And even where to go? It is such a wonderful trip and I have fun a lot. : )

Thank you for coming with me along the way until the end ^^
