Here is where they call Paradise of the Eastern
Koh Waii is located between Koh Chang and Koh Mak in Trad Province. It is a part of Change Islands but less people would think about it. There are 14 beaches on Koh Waii which consists of short beach, long beach and some of them you may not be able to walk through. The longest beach that we are going to talk about is Koh Waii Paradise Resort. We call it by the resort name because it is located in front of the resort and no name.
As mentioned, this is the longest beach on the island, has white sand, clear seawater and covered by clear blue sky. This area of the beach is quite private because they not allow other tourists to stop by unless you are the resort's guests.
You can see these fish family right in front of the resort
Moreover, there is another beach at the end of resort area and it is our favourite.
Here we are!!! Our favourite!!!

Let's start....
Baan Yai Mom Community
Which is located near Koh Mak Pier. People in the community are working together for seafood processing such as dry fish, sweeten fish, salted fish, fish chili paste and so on, these items are very good for souvenir. Buying from them, can also help people in the community to have more income.

Black Sand Beach : The only one in Thailand
It caused by the collapse of the mine and shells together so the sand in this area becomes black. It is the only in Thailand and there are only 5 places in the world.
Moreover than the exquisite black sand, there is plenty of mangrove forest that we can learn about the ecosystem and use of them in this area.
Direction: The Black Sand Beach is adjacent to Baan Yai Mom Community, there is a bridges that connect both area.
The community of two religions : Baan Nam Chiew
This is an ancient community of Trad Province which combines two religions together which are Buddhism and Islamic. There is a very simple traditional way of life, living by fishing and making a hat which calls NGOB.
NGOB is a hat that makes from Nipa Palm Leaves which is very strong and long lasting. It is also a good souvenir for your love one.
