Have you ever got lazy for getting somewhere far for a meal? I guess you are. We all used to be annoyed with traffic jam and bla bla bla.. Often times, we dream just walk two steps out from the door and get a decent meal....but in reality it isn't like that. We are thinking of where to eat, where to go, what is near by here, as when we get hungry our brain is blackout. The final decision was always end up in one of the restaurants in department store..........

Allow me to recommend my option here. One solution I suggested is an application " Trend Zap" which I have got recommendation from my friend. If you would ask me, is this application really genius? No, It isn't that genius but it is very helpful for you to make some decisions.

Starting from down loading this free application, once the down load is completed, open the app, you will see 4 tool bar menus at the bottom, the first bar is FEED just like Facebook and IG . Don't pay too much attention here, just skip it......

Hit the "search", which is next to the Feed, type your near by location. For example, I live near Sao Chingcha (Giant Swing), so I search around Sao Chingcha area, type "Sao Chingcha" and press search. The list will show all the restaurants in your area you probably know some of them because they are in your neighborhood. Then you can click for details and choose your restaurant.

Tein Shong, Roasted duck, NO! Not my favorite, I like Nai Lew roasted duck better, skipped!!

Ancient grilled chicken, I like it, but no mood for Som Tum, skipped!!!

Yong Hua, over budget because it's end of the month, skipped!!!!

Khanhomjeen Hailum Kolhun, never tried, skipped!!!

Mit Ko Yuan, long time have never been here, love Pha Kung salad, may be my choice for today

Nai Aun Yentafo, also good, but I have more feeling for Pha Kung!!!

Je Nee Snow Taro, here is always packed, not for me today!!!

Many clicks and drags for a while, I have decided for Mit Ko Yuan because of influence of Pha Kung (Shrimps salad with mint and lemon grass). Then just walked out the door to my decided restaurant, which is so near.....

There are many main attraction places near by Mit Ko Yuan such as Sao Chingcha, Suthat Tepwararam Temple, Chao Pho Sua spirit house, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration City Hall and Democracy Monument. It is a prime location, I have drown this map from Sao Chingcha to Mit Ko Yuan...

What is Mit Ko Yuan specialize in? Mit Ko Yuan is an upscale requesting cooking restaurant, which is very similar to A la Carte restaurant, just something between.. This place has a long story and history. It has been operated since King Rama 5 period until nowadays, which is now the third generation but still keeping it's popular. Two must have dishes are Crispy thin rice noodle Rama 5 and Pha Kung, theses are must order menus. Let's get to know it's long and long history.........

Still giving classic feeling as looking from the front, just like what I said, it is something between a request cooking and A la Carte restaurant hahaha.

Outer zone is very classic with hanging fan on the ceiling, no air conditioner. I have never ever sat out here.....

I always sit in this zone with air conditioner, cool and comfortable, there is no background music only Thai drama series to build your mood....

Have a look at the most popular menus, on this page is Crispy Thin Rice Noodle Rama 5, a must order dish!!!

Pha Kung (Shrimps with mint and lemon grass salad) is a must...

Nothing is my favorite on this page, just too normal, nothing wows me...5555

I have ordered two dishes of Pha Kung today as each time I came. The secret is the shrimps were grilled into semi cook, soaked in tasty Thai dressing with lemon grass and herbs. This is so good, that is why I have ordered two dishes at a time......

Phao Taek ( Thai spicy and sour clear soup) is combined a lot of ingredients in the bowl, if it's taste is not what you like, just ask to add some more flavors, like family style here.....

Popular menu, which most restaurants have included in their menu selections, Khai Jeaw Mhoo Sub (Minced pork omelet) ....

Century egg with crispy Thai basil, normally I don't like century egg but my friend has ordered. Nothing wows me with this menu....

We were only two persons, have ordered so many dishes, could not finish them all. We didn't order Crispy thin rice noodle Rama 5, what a loser..

One dish, one photo, my most favorite menu " Pha Kung" posted in E-Trend Zap for social network friends. Checked In, picked photo, added a cool sticker on, and posted to proof that we were here....

To be a conclusion

My recommendations are

Pha Kung, semi cooked shrimps with Thai herbals dressing

Chinese broccoli with crispy pork

Stir Chayote new leaf

For more dishes just try on your own, they are all good in taste and reasonable price...
