This trip, I am Devil Sassy girl, will take everyone to an adventure time in Korat Candle Procession Festival 2014, which will be held every year during the auspicious period of Wan Khao Phun Sa (Buddhist Lent) and this year the festival as well will be held under the name of "Increasing Merit, Accumulating Virtue, Annual Korat Candle Procession 2014" on 11 – 13 July 2014 at Tao Suranaree Monument.
It is the first year that, I have an opportunity to join in Korat Candle Procession Festival, and actually this is my first time in travelling, I really have never been to anywhere before.
First of all, I have to say that this review, there will be lots of pictures because I would like to keep the ambience of the Korat Candle Procession Festival to share to everyone. Therefore, next year, there will be amount of travelers planning to travel to Korat Candle Procession Festival.

Travel route and how to get there:
Nakhon Ratchasima is around 259 kilometers distance from Bangkok.
By car:
From Google map
Take Viphavadee Rangsit Road passing Wang Noi, and then take Muaklek route, on Hwy 2 (Mittraphap Hwy) which finally leads to Nakhon Ratchasima. The journey will take approximately 3 hours.
By train:
There are many types of train service including ordinary train, rapid train and express train. Trains leave from Bangkok Railway Station (Huamlamphong) daily.

There are vans leave from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima at Phayathai (move from Victory Monument) and another one leave from Mochit 2.
I am Devil Sassy girl, this time choose to travel by bus, taking the bus service of Ratchasima tour, the bus fare costs 220 baht, leave at 14.00pm.

The journey normally takes approximately 3 hours, but this time is in the public holiday period, thus,the traffic is bad, it takes me almost 5 hours to the destination.
I get off at the old bus station, seeking for the nearby accommodation around the area. Before travel, I already do some research for the accommodations. At the end of this review, I will provide some of the information for the reasonable price accommodations.
Already keep the baggage at the hotel; I take a walk to Ya Mo (Tao Suranaree Monument) area, which is the place where they are holding this festival.
It's a bit pity that I did not take a camera stand with me this time, I just plan to go out for eating and take a look at the location which I will take photos tomorrow. But then since I arrive, I just could not help myself taking some photos along the way.

Good morning, here comes the new day. Today (12 July 2014), the candle procession starts at 08.30 am.
Before going to see the procession, first of all, I am Devil Sassy girl will explain the judging criteria for the candle procession contest.
Every procession in the contest has to tell relate stories of showing honor in celebrating for His Majesty King 87th birthday which will link to the story of the Lord Buddha, Buddhism and unique local culture and tradition of Nakhon Ratchasima province.
The candle contest type A:
The height of the candle size from base to top not less than 3 meters with the area of not less than 25 square meters.
The candle contest type B:
The height of the candle size form base to top not less than 2.5 meters but not more than 3 meters with the area of not less than 18 square meters, and does not exceed 25 square meters.
The sculpture contest type C:
The height of the sculpture size not less than 1.20 meters with the area of not less than 2 square meters.
The sculpture of type C contest will be displayed at Ya Mo monument, will not taking part in the procession.
The procession contest:
Have to have Thai dancing procession or others local culture show according to Thai tradition.

Apologize, I did not take the picture of the hotel front area; as a result, I search from Google for everyone.
At the time, I call in to get some information from the San Sabai House, the price of air conditioning room is at 450-500 baht. As for the accommodation, there are two buildings, I am Devil Sassy girl stay at the back building, fourth floor air conditioning room costs 450 baht.
Let's see inside the bedroom, adequately wide size.
TV, refrigerator, tables for guests and there is also a balcony.
Bed cushion seems soft; I will definitely have a pleasant sleep.
Inside room features including the closest, dressing table.
There is also praying book inside the room.
Let's see inside the restroom, water heater available for use.
Water basins, flush toilet, spray hose. Anyway, the toilet is a bit small.
Overall San Sabai House offers the reasonable price accommodation with the clean room and good service from the staff.
Suitable for the price, Oh! I forget to say that there is no elevator available.
It is my first time travelling and this is my first place to travel. Travelling to Korat Candle Procession Festival this time, I would say it is very impressive, I could be able to watch the splendid candle procession; each procession has a beautiful crafted candle with can tell the stories.
