On my latest trip to Chiang Mai, I had the opportunity to stay at a new hostel. It's a brand new hostel in Chiang Mai that just opened last March. The hostel is called "Chiang Mai Dee Hostel" and is located behind Chiang Mai University, on Suthep Road, next to the Sorsanee Coffee shop, behind the CMU branch.

Chiang Mai Dee Hostel is a 2-story wooden house. It is an old house that the owner has completely renovated to open as a hostel. Chiang Mai Dee Hostel is a mixed dorm with shared bathrooms. But hey, don't imagine too far! The condition here is very good, really good. Another thing is that the room management system here is very good because the owner takes care of it himself.



Upon check-in, you will receive your room key, locker key, and key card for accessing the house.



This time, I got room B. Bed B4. This time, I have the room to myself. No one is sleeping with me. Haha. The rooms here can accommodate 4 or 6 people. The 6-person rooms are on the upper floor. Unfortunately, the room was locked, so I could only take pictures of the surrounding area outside to show you.

The electrical system here is automatic. As soon as you walk in, the lights turn on. At first, I was a little freaked out, like, "What the heck is this?" But then the owner came over and said, "The lights are automatic, honey." Okay, I'm relieved. Hahahaha.



Next to the house, there is a coffee shop called Pause. If you come to stay and are looking for a good place to work, Pause is another place that is suitable for working.

Summary ..

- I love the decoration style, so I'm totally in love with it. I'm currently into old houses that have been renovated.
- The location may be a bit far from the community center like Nimmanha, but it's not too far. However, it starts to get quiet around 4-5 pm. If you are looking for a quiet and affordable accommodation, this is the place for you.
