Ring ring ring ring ring ring.....

The phone's ringtone woke him up in the late morning after Hom had been working hard to earn money to pay off the large debt he had borrowed from his family.

"Let's go to Pai, TAT invites you to go. Are you free?"

"Pai during the rainy season? Ugh, Pai is muddy and not worth visiting anymore."

"No, really, Pai is still beautiful, but most people don't know it. And keep it quiet, okay? The rainy season is really beautiful."

"Really… are you exaggerating?"

"Wanna know, gotta prove it, man… Let's go!"

"Go...!!!?!"

The conversation ended abruptly. I think it was because of the sleepiness of just waking up, so I agreed in a daze.

And this is the start of our rainy season trip to Pai.

Thank you for the invitation from the Pai Tourism Business Association and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

(TAT) Mae Hong Son Provincial Office, which has a doctor as a tour guide, invites you to experience the beauty of Pai during the rainy season.

The camera equipment used throughout the trip was:

Sony A7Rii

For this trip, I used a Sony A7Rii to capture all the photos. If you're not interested in how I got this camera, you can skip the details about buying a new camera and jump straight to my trip.

[Spoiler] Click to reveal hidden textI traveled to Chiang Mai one day before everyone else on AirAsia because I had an appointment to chat with a friend named P'Toh (who usually lives in Japan) who happened to be vacationing in Thailand.

We arrived safely in Chiang Mai with Air Asia at 9:15 AM, 15 minutes ahead of schedule. The pilot was amazing, we arrived so quickly!

The first day was free, no plans at all. In the afternoon, I just chatted with my friends in Chiang Mai. So I decided to wait for P'To at the hotel first. My accommodation is near Nimmanha Road.

Not long after, around 10 am, Phi To arrived. He was complaining about wanting to buy a new camera, the Sony A7Rii, so we added a program to look at cameras in the afternoon.

After meeting with friends, around 4 pm, I went out to find a camera store that sells Sony A7Rii. I found it at Photobug Chang Phuak branch. Thank you, P'Pop, for your excellent service and explanation of the camera's details, regardless of whether I bought it or not.

Upon inquiring about the warranty for the Sony A7Rii camera, I was informed that there is no worldwide warranty. As a result, my brother decided not to purchase it. And then, as if it had been planned, everyone turned to look at me, staring like wolves about to devour a lamb, and said:

"Buy it now, it's worth it! Trade your 1Dx for it... I've used it for 2 years now, just let it go."

"Oh, if this insurance was available in Japan, I would have bought it already. The camera is amazing, and it looks super cool to hold."

"Hey, Wu! This is the last one left in the store. It's a good product and sells well. If you don't get it now, I guarantee you'll regret it... regret it."

Ohhhhh.....From the intention to borrow a camera, Brother ต่อ played with it for a while. It turned out to be a victim, like being forced to buy it.

I woke up and realized that I had traded my 1Dx camera for a Sony A7R ii and bought 2 more lenses.....sob sob I feel like my legs are so beautiful.....hairless.

All of this is the origin of the Sony A7Rii camera that will be used to work throughout the Pai trip this time.

At eight o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, the AirAsia plane carrying the group that would be traveling to Pai on this occasion arrived in Chiang Mai ahead of schedule. Before I knew it, my friend was waiting for me in front of the hotel, so I had to hurry up and pack my bags and get ready to travel by van to Pai, Mae Hong Son Province.

Perhaps because they woke up early, the Pai group's stomachs were rumbling. Along the way, they stopped for breakfast at the Mon Roming food court.

Our initial intention was to just have a single plate of rice each to hold us over, as we remembered that the road up to Pai has a lot of curves. We were worried that if we ate too much, we might end up throwing it all up on the way. However, after looking around and seeing that the three of us were sharing a table, just one plate of food per person seemed a bit too little, so we ordered two more dishes to share.

As soon as the food was served, I knew I had made a mistake. The main dish was a good size, but the two extra dishes I had ordered were huge. I thought to myself, "I'm definitely not going to be able to finish all of this."

We decided to eat as much as we could and then quickly got on the bus. We were so full that we fell asleep immediately.

Here are some tips from a doctor: If you are prone to motion sickness, it is recommended to take motion sickness medication 30 minutes before your trip. Another method that I have found to be effective is wearing sunglasses. This is another way to prevent motion sickness that is surprisingly effective. Does it make sense?

As I was dozing off, not sure if it was from the car sickness or the gentle swaying of the van, we stopped at 32 Coffee Hill. The cafe is located on the way to Pai, on Route 1095.

As I stepped out of the van, the cool mountain air gently brushed against my face. I quickly walked into the shop and ordered an iced cocoa, continuing my quest for coolness.

While waiting for my iced cocoa, I took a walk around the 32 Coffee Hill resort. The resort's houses are nestled amidst nature, creating a lush and refreshing atmosphere. Especially during the rainy season like this, the air is filled with the sweet scent of the earth, making it a perfect place to take a deep breath and cleanse your lungs. Inhaling deeply like this feels like purifying my lungs. Ahhhhh... so refreshing!

After finishing a cold cocoa, I hopped on a van and headed to the next tourist spot, Huai Nam Dang. It was almost noon by the time I arrived, and there was no fog to be seen. Arriving late in the morning like this, all I could do was sit and enjoy the cool 17-degree air. It reminded me of the beautiful foggy mornings when I stayed here earlier this year.

Ah... Let's tease our friends with a picture from the beginning of the year. It's so beautiful. If there was fog,

If you want to see the mist here, I recommend staying overnight. Huai Nam Dang National Park has accommodation. The rooms that open to the mist must be booked in advance because the number of rooms is limited. And you should invite your friends to come in large numbers to share the cost. It's not too expensive per person. Read the details at http://www.dnp.go.th/parkreserve/asp/style1/accommodation.asp

After sitting and mourning, oops... I mean, after sitting and resting, we headed to the next sign. In Pai, it was already past noon when we arrived. We stopped for lunch for a bit before going to the hot spring called "Sai Ngam Hot Spring". When I first heard the name, I couldn't remember ever hearing it before. Later, I found out that it was an Unseen of Pai. It really is an Unseen. I didn't know it at all.

From Pai town, drive along Route 1905 for a short distance. You'll see a small sign on the right-hand side of the road that says "Sai Ngam Hot Spring." Turn right at the sign and follow the road until you reach the ticket booth. The entrance fee is 20 baht per person. Since Sai Ngam Hot Spring is located within a wildlife sanctuary, the entrance fee helps to support conservation efforts. For just 20 baht, you can enjoy the beauty of nature in its purest form.

It's a pity that there isn't much time and I'm too lazy to change clothes. Since I'm already here, I'll just dip my feet in to see if it's really hot. Then I'll take some pictures and move on.

The last tourist spot for today is Kong Lan!!?!

What is Kong Lan? I can't imagine it. But I think it's like a ghost town goat. Oh, I see. If you explain it to your foreign friends, you can say it's similar to the Grand Canyon, but this is the Pai Canyon.

My friends and I walked up and wanted to try walking around to see the view from above.

After a round, I thought it would be an easy walk, but it turned out to be a narrow path, difficult to walk and very slippery. If you come with small children, you should not let them walk alone, as they may fall off the cliff.

Well, look at our little Pat. She jumped and clung like a gecko. I don't know why she had to jump and do such a difficult move. She could have just climbed slowly. I guess climbing normally is too easy for her. She really made me nervous with her climbing moves.

It took us a while to walk around the whole place, and we were all out of breath.

My stomach is starting to growl... I need to refuel at Silhouette Restaurant and Bar. It's a restaurant located inside the Reverie Siam Resort.

I arrived early, the kitchen wasn't open yet, but my stomach was already rumbling. I took some pictures of the dining room and then snuck off to see the room that I had heard was perfect for honeymooners.

The room is divided into two simple parts: the bedroom and the bathroom. I really like the bedroom part, it's like a place for writers to sit and write their manuscripts. Just thinking about it makes me want to take my pending reviews and sit there and write them. But in reality, I'd probably just end up cuddling myself with a blanket on the bed and doing more work than I should. It's that comfortable.

After taking photos of the room for a while, it was time for the kitchen to open. I quickly ran back to the table and sat down, eagerly waiting to devour the food that the chef had prepared. The menu for the day was as follows:

For me, foreign food like this, I honestly admit that I'm not good at eating and criticizing the taste. But if it's something meaty like steak or barbecue, I'll eat it to the death.

For this meal, there were two dishes that really stood out to me: Moroccan Ribs and Bianco Pasta with Salmon (I don't usually like pasta, but this dish was truly delicious).

Full and ready to check into the first night's accommodation at Pai Hotsprings Spa Resort. Tired and exhausted from eating, oops... traveling all day, I just want to sleep when I arrive, but when I see the beautiful room, I have to take some pictures and share them with my friends.

There's also a hot spring outside the room. Let me tell you, if I wasn't so tired, I'd be soaking in the water and showing off my belly. Can someone please come and soak in the hot spring outside for me? TT^TT I'm so tired.

Day 1 ends, sleep well and sweet dreams....as for Day 2, let me give you a little spoiler first. It will be a tour of the whole of Pai. Let's wait and see what interesting places there are. Just wait a little longer.
