Let me introduce myself first. I'm a bit of a crazy person, and by crazy I mean that when I like something, I have to do it to the extreme. For example, when I was a kid, I loved playing taekwondo. I practiced six days a week for five years straight until I injured my knee. My knee ligaments were loose, and sometimes I could hear a popping sound in my knee. I had to stop playing. Or I would play games like a madman, playing until dawn. Or, most recently, I bought a road bike and went off-road... I rode so fast that I ended up lying on the side of the road because of the speed and a bug that flew into my eye. I didn't see the road, and the result was... a broken collarbone.

Let's get down to business. When I grow up and start working, I will inevitably feel stressed. My way of relieving stress is to travel, which I have been doing a lot lately. Because I work for myself and don't have to bother my family, I can just go for it.

If you like to travel and want to join me, come this way. (Brand new, just like this post)

***The photos will be in a street style, with me carrying a backpack, my left hand on the bottom of the bag, and my right hand holding the camera. The photos may be shaky (due to the cold) and tilted (due to the weight of the bag). At first, I thought I would edit the photos at home, but I thought it would be better to just take them as they are, raw and unedited, to capture the mood. Day 1

Okay, after booking tickets in advance for several months, finally this day has arrived. The day we will see something new and exciting. Almost forgot… this trip happened because my beautiful sister is studying in the Netherlands. When the end of the year came, I found a reason to miss her. This trip was originally planned for 3 people: my sister in the Netherlands, my sister's friend in Australia, and me in Thailand. Plus, my speaking level is Lv.1 lol.

For me, this song is my favorite song for traveling

This trip, we decided to fly to meet up in Delft, Netherlands. Then we will continue our journey to Hungary.

The total flight time was about 12 hours, which was a real treat for aviation enthusiasts. It was so long that after getting off the plane, I felt like I needed to stretch my back into a U-shape. During the flight, I was bored and sleepy, so I opened the window to relieve my boredom. Wow, the sight of the brown plateau mixed with the white snow was breathtaking. I could feel the cold air coming through the window. The two foreigners sitting next to me leaned over to admire the view and started muttering something. I guess it must have been pretty amazing.

Before we land, let's take a look at the history....

The Netherlands, or as we like to call it, Holland, is a country located in northwestern Europe. The country's name has its roots in the word "Neder" or "low", as it is a country with land that is lower than sea level. Most of the country's area is below sea level, with 20%-21% of its population living below sea level and 50% of its land area being no more than one meter above sea level.

Yay, finally arrived at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport! My legs are so tired from the flight. As soon as I got off the plane, I didn't waste any time and went straight to the meeting point where my friend's brother will pick me up. No jet lag whatsoever, I'm already excited to explore the city! Haha!

First, we decided to take a walk through the famous red light district of Amsterdam. We needed to leave our 30 kg bags at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Then we took the train for convenience. If you want to join us on this trip, come along!

We arrived at the train station and had to get off at Amsterdam Centraal station to walk to the red light district. I don't have much trouble traveling because I have a local kid to take me around, haha. It's about 7 pm now and it's starting to get quiet. The weather, needless to say, is very cold.

This foreign father looks like a tourist, walking back and forth, walking back and forth.

The lighting and location are perfect for taking photos. Let's take one!

As I arrived at Amsterdam Centraal Station, I took a leisurely stroll, admiring the sights and the Dutch women, as I made my way to the Red Light District. As soon as the door opened, I was blown away and immediately took my first picture. It was simply stunning.

Oh, the green light finally came on! I was standing there shivering for a long time. Haha... In the Netherlands, people are very disciplined when it comes to traffic rules. Both drivers and pedestrians strictly follow the rules.

The architecture of both shopping malls and hotels tends to follow this style, which is visually pleasing.

We have arrived at the Red Light District. The lights of the restaurants on both sides are beautiful. Tourists are bustling around. I think I smell something strange. Oh... what is it?

Ah... I knew it was real! Haha. This is a bit NSFW, so be warned. [In the Netherlands, you can legally buy, sell, and consume cannabis. This area also has women selling services in bikinis standing in red glass display cases (no photos allowed).]

What's surprising is that before I came, I heard on the news that the Netherlands had so few prisoners that they were closing prisons because there was hardly any crime in the country...

Apparently, you can use green leaves to make cakes. It must be delicious. Should I try it? Who wants to know the taste... raise your hand.

As I walked across the bridge, shivering from the strong wind, I saw a flash of red out of the corner of my eye. I turned to see… wow! If I had a boyfriend and we were here together, I would definitely have to get down on one knee! What a romantic setting! As I strolled along, enjoying the view, I noticed a Dutch car reversing into a parking space that didn't exist, with water on one side. Very impressive! The Dutch park their cars like this all along the two sides of the road, which is quite unique.

Walking around, I heard strange noises. I found this car and it's no wonder why this place is so clean (the car looks cute, haha)

After enjoying the view, we walked back to Amsterdam Centraal to pick up our luggage at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. We then took a train back to Delft to sleep. The trains here are so colorful, I think I counted almost 12 different colors!

While waiting for the train, it was cold and I was single. Seeing the Dutch couple being so sweet, I couldn't help but feel a little envious. For the first day of the trip, I'll leave you with this picture. Let's just say I'm very jealous.

Let's continue. I've received some questions via DM about what questions are asked at immigration in the Netherlands. I'll share my experience so that it might be of some benefit.

I have been flying into the Netherlands for 2 years now (the end of last year and the end of this year). Last year, I passed through without any problems, but this year, I had some trouble... However, I personally think that the immigration officers in the Netherlands are kind, even though I was detained this year.

The questions that the immigration officer asked me were:

1.) When asked what I was doing there, I replied that I was visiting my sister who was studying there and also sightseeing.

2.) How much money did you bring in euros? Show me.

3.) How many days have you been here? When are you leaving?

4.) Where to stay

5.) They asked for my return ticket. This is where I got into trouble because I couldn't find the printed ticket... So they called me into a room and I told them to wait while I logged into my email to show them. But just then, my friend's brother, who seemed to know my habits and that I would definitely get into trouble, left his number for emergencies. He called and asked where we were going back to. Luckily, my friend's brother remembered and answered correctly, so they let me go. Haha!

This is approximately what I can do (personally, my language skills are not strong).

Last year, the question was:

1.) What do you do for a living?

Last night, I slept at my sister's house in Delft. Today, we have to leave early for Eindhoven because tomorrow morning we have to fly from Eindhoven Airport to Hungary. However, in the end, only two of us are traveling on this trip: me and my friend from Austria. After talking it over, my sister decided to stay and finish her final project at the university. So, this adventure is just for the two of us. When we woke up, my sister and her friends were seriously discussing the travel plans for the trip. As for me, I was just chilling and not worried at all. I took some photos with my camera at my sister's house in Delft before we left.

Now the two of us are traveling out feeling lonely and cold. This time, it's really a brutal backpacking trip for me. After the bridge, I'm carrying a backpack of about 10 kilograms, dragging another backpack of more than 10 kilograms with my left hand, and holding a DSLR camera in my right hand to take pictures as I walk.

On the way to catch the train from Delft to Eindhoven, while crossing the bridge, I saw this little European duck. Its colors were so vibrant that it would make a delicious larb.

I am currently in Prague. I would like to say that after passing through 4 countries, the ducklings all look very similar. If you think of the Netherlands, one thing that comes to mind is bicycles. The people here use bicycles more than anywhere else in the world. No matter where you walk, you will always be amazed by the Dutch people cycling. For example, they dress up and ride their bikes, or they ride with both hands free because they are holding things (and they ride fast). There are so many other ways that sometimes I just stand and watch them ride (they have a separate bike lane from the main road here).

Let's take a look at this young man as an example… he's coming into the corner from a long way out.

Or maybe a friendly young man… here he comes

There is also graffiti here. . . .

Waiting for the train to Eindhoven. But we have to continue to Rotterdam.

Arrived in Rotterdam. Now heading to Eindhoven. Come on, follow me!

Sharing some scenic views along the way. Let me tell you, it's beautiful and relaxing... Looking out the window while listening to music, it's pure bliss. However, the train windows could be a bit less cloudy...

The question about expenses is a good one (I wonder if anyone will tell my family that I'm spending money). Haha! But there's no need to feel sorry because we've been working hard and saving money to follow our dreams. Now that we have the energy and time to do these things, I think it's time for us to travel. We were born on this planet... so why don't we go out and explore what's out there waiting for us to discover? Every now and then, we get to relax and gain some experience. I think it's like learning about the world, not just by reading books, but by going out and experiencing it for ourselves. My travels and adventures have been a mix of good and bad... I'll tell you more about that later. Let's get back to the estimated expenses first.

The sergeant's spending is approximate because the trip is not over yet.

  • Accommodation (Airbnb booking), bus, train, tram, flight tickets in Europe (flights from the Netherlands-Hungary)-(Czech Republic-Italy)-(Italy-Netherlands) For the rest of the countries, we take the bus, approximately 70,000 baht.

- Round-trip KLM flight tickets cost 31,000 baht. Book in advance with confidence 5 months in advance. Normally, the embassy does not recommend booking and paying in advance because you need to get a Schengen visa first before paying. If we pay and the visa is not approved, we will lose money for free. Normally, booking KLM flight tickets 2-3 months in advance will cost around 35,000 baht.

Approximately 101,000 baht (excluding the cost of my time-stopping camera, food, and entrance fees to major tourist attractions).

We haven't arrived yet, but on the way here on the train, we've been observing things... Let's share the atmosphere on the train with you.

We have arrived at Eindhoven station. Before getting off, don't forget to press the button to open the train door. I was standing there watching, wondering when the door would open. After a while, I heard a voice from behind me... "Why are you standing there? Why don't you press the button to open the door?" Haha. We have to walk from here to our accommodation. While my brother was seriously looking for the way to our accommodation, I was just chilling as usual.

Suddenly... I was about to take a picture of the yellow car when the light turned green. Haha.

Because the world is vast, the person beside you is important.

After walking home, I put down my bags and stretched my back and waist. The bags weighed 10 kilograms each, and I was dragging another 10 kilograms. I was in pain, but it's okay because I have the Backpacker spirit...lol. Later in the evening, we went out for a walk to find something to eat.

While walking in the cold, I saw a traffic jam, which is not something you see very often here.

Walking around, it's cold and I'm hungry. There aren't many shops open around here.... My stomach is growling, I'm so hungry. I noticed the time is around 5:45 am. I thought it was midnight...

The lights are beautifully decorated in preparation for Christmas, but I'm so hungry that I can't see straight... This restaurant isn't it either.

Not yet.

Okay, I saw this shop from afar, beautifully decorated, so I rushed in... I'm saved!

Okay, I'm in the restaurant and I've ordered my food. While I'm waiting, I'm noticing that the place has a kind of vintage vibe… or maybe they just forgot to paint it? Haha (I'm talking about the floor and walls here).

After we had our fill, we went to pay the bill. I must say that the Dutch girls are just as beautiful as the restaurant itself, haha! We had to head back to the hotel early tonight because we had to wake up at 5 am tomorrow to catch our flight to Eindhoven. From there, we'll be flying to Hungary. Until next time, in Hungary!

(The Netherlands trip isn't over yet, there will be a final part because our round-trip tickets to the Netherlands allow us to visit 4 more countries before returning. I'll take you on a tour of the Netherlands when I get back. Here's a clip of the New Year's countdown at the White Bridge in Rotterdam.) https://www.facebook.com/426685664183720/videos/45...
