Bakkan Yai is located on Koh Sarai Island, Mueang District, Satun Province. The word "Bakkan" means a place where wood is burned to make charcoal. Therefore, the word "Bakkan Yai" means a large charcoal burning site. The accommodation is a homestay with approximately 15 rooms that can accommodate 2-4 people per room. Each room has a private bathroom. As this is a Muslim community, alcohol is strictly prohibited.

The journey begins at Ban Tung Rin Pier, Tha Pae District, Satun Province. I traveled there at the end of January. To get there, you need to go during high tide. If the tide is low, the boat will not be able to reach the shore.

We've arrived. It took about 45 minutes by long-tail boat.

We arrived just in time for lunch. This trip, we are staying here for 1 night. The tour package includes 3 meals, this is the first meal. The food here is delicious, we ate until we were full.

After that, you can relax at your leisure.

In the afternoon, we went out to explore nature, which was during low tide.

The path may be muddy in some places, so it is recommended to wear sandals.

The path is lined with mangrove forests.

After walking for about 1 km, you will find a variety of colorful corals everywhere.

Found villagers looking for shellfish and crabs.

The children here are adorable.

In the evening, the OP went out to take pictures of the sunset.

After that, we had dinner together.

After dinner, we had grilled squid and shellfish. We sat down to eat and chat before going to rest. We woke up early in the morning to take pictures of the morning light.

They were also playing with fire.

Breakfast here is sticky rice with custard and salted fish. It was my first time eating this kind of breakfast, and it was delicious. It was sweet and salty. Then we walked to the area called the Red Dragon's Spine, which is a kind of split sea with water coming in from two directions. When the tide is almost at its highest, you can see a red sandbar as shown in the picture.

When the tide is low, you can walk quite far down the beach.

I went out to take pictures. There were small marine animals on the ground, which also had puddles of water.

The mangrove forests here are still very lush.

This place offers activities such as scuba diving, coral viewing, and kayaking.

This concludes my review. I apologize for any errors.
