Today we traveled from Hong Kong to Macau by taking a ferry from the HK Macau Ferry Terminal to the TAIPA Ferry Terminal.
We then took a free bus from the VENETIAN to drop off our luggage before taking bus number 26 to start our sightseeing.
We started our walk from TEMPLO A MA and continued until we reached the Ruins of St. Paul's. We then climbed up to the Mount Fortress and took bus number 23 to the Statue of Guan Yin.
Before taking bus number MT1 back to the GALAXY for dinner, we walked to the VENETIAN to pick up our luggage and took a free bus to Macau Airport.

I woke up early today and checked out at 7:00 AM. I received my room deposit refund of 540 HKD. Now I have money to continue my trip.

Take the train from Wan Chai to Sheung Wan station and exchange the Octopus card for a refund of the deposit of 50-9 HKD.

With the remaining balance on the card, continue walking following the signs to the HK Macau Ferry Terminal to board the ferry to Macau.

The return ticket for COTAI WATER JET today is more expensive than usual because it is Sunday, 177 HKD per person (the one-way ticket is only 154 MOP).

The ticket officer asked if we were boarding the 8:00 AM ferry. We said yes, but forgot that we still had to go through immigration. We only realized this after the tickets were issued.

With only 15 minutes left, we had to run. We made it through immigration and boarded the ferry just as it was leaving. (It's recommended to arrive 30 minutes before the departure time in case the line is long.) The ferry ride took about 1 hour, and we arrived at the TAIPA Ferry Terminal. After going through Macau immigration, we walked out to wait for the free shuttle bus to the VENETIAN.

The waiting area is on the right-hand side, where people are queuing as shown in the picture. (There is no sign for the waiting area, so you need to ask.)

The bus dropped us off at the MAIN Lobby entrance. We walked through the casino to find the free luggage storage, which is located on the Hotel West Lobby side.
There is a charge for luggage storage, which is 10 MOP per item.

Here are some photos of the interior of the Venetian's MAIN Lobby.

After exploring and taking photos at VENETIAN, we returned to the Main Lobby and walked out to the front, turning left to the bus stop. (It's opposite the Four Seasons Hotel. I walked back and forth looking for it for a long time, asking people around 2-3 times before I found it.)

Let's explore the bus routes. We want to go to TEMPLO A MA. Bus route 21A goes directly to the starting point. Route 26 also passes by, but it's on the way.

Wait for the bus for about 5 minutes. Bus number 26 arrives, we get on first and tell the driver to drop us off at the A MA stop (pay the exact fare, no change).
The bus passes by the TAIPA pier (anyone without luggage can leave it on the bus here). The bus crosses the bridge to the Macau side.
I looked at the map, but I didn't know if I had passed the stop, so I asked the driver and he told me to get off (I passed 3 stops and walked back 555).
On the way back to the TEMPLO A MA temple, we stopped for food. This restaurant wasn't really to my taste, but the portions were large.
It's a small restaurant and they set up a table for us to eat near the kitchen.

Add photos of the food you ate at this restaurant, along with a can of soda per person, for a total of 160 MOP

Arriving at TEMPLO A MA, there was a Portuguese dance performance. I stopped to watch for a while.

Let's explore TEMPLO A MA temple

With a map in hand, I explored the walking route beforehand. Today, I plan to walk all the way to St. Paul's Cathedral.

Start walking from the point where the rickshaws are parked (the point where the Portuguese dance is shown).

Just a short walk away, you'll find a souvenir shop. This shop is popular for its egg tarts.

I stopped by to take a picture next to the shop. I don't know what it is, but I took a picture of it first. Hehe.

Turn right and walk along Calcada da Barra Road, passing the Marine and Water Bureau, which is currently covered with renovation cloth.

Enter R. da Barra street through Lilau Square Kiosk, a relaxing atmosphere to hang out

Turn onto R. do Padre Antonio and continue until you reach St. Lawrence's Church.

You can take photos inside the booth.

Walk past the front of the booth onto R. de Sao Lourenco and R. Central, then turn left onto Calcada do Teatro.
You will find the D. Pedro V. Theatre.

Across the street is the Residencia Da Companhia De Jesus booth.

Behind the D. Pedro V. Theatre is the SEMINARIO DE S JOSE

We walked along the side of the Residencia Da Companhia De Jesus

Entering Calcada do Tronco Velho, you will pass a yellow building, which is the side of the Civic And Municipal Affairs Bureau.

When you reach the intersection, you will see Senado Square across the street.

Let's take a souvenir photo first. Today there are so many people. I almost got lost from my friends.

There is a Tourist Information Center here. Stop by and pick up a map of Macau.

The building is called SANTA CASA DA MISERICORDIA, which is quite a mouthful.

I came out of the Tourist Information and couldn't find my friends. I kept walking straight ahead, and there were a lot of people. I finally found my friends at the end of the road.

At the very end, if you look to the left, you will see Seint Dominic's Church

Stop by and take a picture inside and keep it for later.

After passing the booth, turn left and walk to see the sign for the Ruins of St. Paul's. Then follow the signs straight ahead. It won't be long before you arrive. There are a lot of people.

Why are there so many people? There is no space to take pictures.

Let's go up and take some pictures first.

Take some pictures from the back.

We climbed the stairs to Mount Gun Fort. It was quite tiring, walking all this way and then having to climb the fort.
Once we reached the top, we took some photos.

This fort has some cannons left, not many.

Enjoy the views of Macau

After walking around, I saw a way down the escalator to the museum. Oh, there's an escalator up too. I climbed the mountain 555. (There is a free bathroom down the escalator.)

While taking a break and looking at the map, I saw that the starting point for bus route 23 is behind the Ruins of St. Paul's. After going down the escalator, you can walk straight to the bus stop.

Today, an aunt from Macau exchanged coins with me and took us to see the Goddess of Mercy (the aunt happened to get off at the same stop as us).

Take bus number 23 from the starting point to Dr. Carlos D'assumpcao Park, then walk across the street to the park.
Walk straight to the Goddess of Mercy Statue of Guan Yin.

Statue of Guan Yin

Free admission to the base of the Mother Goddess. Paintings on the upper walls inside.

The construction of the Guanyin statue is on display. Today, the initiator of the construction will give a lecture.

Take a picture of the surrounding view before returning.

Walk back to the MT1 bus line (I was originally going to walk to the big station on the map, but I saw the MT1 bus station with a sign saying Macau Airport, so I asked someone nearby and got on the bus.

We took the MT1 bus across to the TAIPA side and saw the VENETAIN hotel sign nearby. The bus stopped at the GALAXY stop, which is opposite VENETAIN. We got off at this stop (we were originally going to get off at the airport and then take the VENETAIN bus back to get our luggage).

We stopped by GALAXY for some food before. I heard that VENETAIN is expensive. At GALAXY,
the food is not expensive. It's delicious too. There's a Food court with a wide variety of food to choose from.

More pictures of the food we ordered

BBQ Pork Served with Rice & Soup of the Day & Seasonal Vegetables 79 MOP

BBQ Pork & Poached Chicken Served with Rice & Soup of the Day & Seasonal Vegetables & Salty Egg 95 MOP

Pork congee and deep-fried dough sticks, this set costs over eighty dollars.

After eating, I walked out to VENETIAN to take pictures of the GALAXY at night. The lights were beautiful.

I crossed the street to VENETAIN on the Hotel West Lobby side, picked up my luggage, and went in to buy an egg tart.
Then I walked out to the MAIN Lobby to wait for the free airport bus (I forgot to go up to the third floor to see the gondola).
Additional information: Airport shuttle service from the Main Lobby is available from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, with buses departing every 15-20 minutes. The wait is not long.

Take a free ride back to the airport. I have some free time before checking in (if you have already checked in, you need to check in again to receive a boarding pass).
Let's explore the restaurants first. There are only 3 restaurants at the airport as shown in the picture.

Time to check in through immigration. Wait in front of the gate. Today's Airasia flight is delayed by 1 hour. I will arrive home late.
Thank you for following me until the end. See you on the next trip.
