Last time I took you to see the brand new 5-star hotel on Jomtien Beach.

This time, we will take you to see a 5-star old and strong hotel on Pattaya Beach, Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa.

It is the first hotel in the Sukosol group.

The Sukosol Hotels group has how many hotels? I was curious, so I did a Google search and found that there are two in Bangkok: The Siam, which is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, and The Sukosol, which is located on Sri Ayutthaya Road. There are also three in Pattaya: The Bayview, Wave in Central Pattaya, and here in South Pattaya at the end of Walking Street near Bali Hai Pier, Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa, which is the first hotel in their group. And....!!

//The front of the hotel is located on the beach side, at the end of Walking Street, next to Bali Hai Pier.

//The hotel area on this side is located on both sides of the road. The beach side is the restaurant zone and Beach Pool with Bali-Hai by the Sea outdoor restaurant and Bali-Hai Chinese and Seafood restaurant.

As the first hotel, it was built during the era when Pattaya was just starting to become famous. At that time, land was probably not very expensive, so Siam Bayshore was able to acquire a large area of land, covering >>>

.

//This is the other side of the hotel's front, the street side. This side is the side where you drive in, or the side of Pattaya Road 2. Drive in like this, it's confusing. The area is large and deep! Drive deeper and deeper, turn after turn, and you will come to the front of this side.

//Old hotels didn't favor high-rise buildings. Here too, the accommodation buildings were built as 4-story buildings. //I forgot to count the floors, but it's around that number. And there are about 10 buildings of this type, built in a zigzag pattern with connecting paths between each building amidst what is called .....

Garden! Forest! Lung! Oasis! Garden! Tropical!!

A paradise ... in the city of Pattaya

The first thing that struck me was the dense canopy of mature tropical trees, some as old as the hotel itself. This is a stark contrast to the other hotels in Pattaya Bay.

//Infused with the atmosphere of Thainess with various high relief sculptures

//And a variety of lush greenery

This garden is like a forest, lush, green, and peaceful. The ground is a stream with carp swimming everywhere. It's so Zen-like that I feel like meditating and escaping the world right here.

Garden Pavilion Cafe

A coffee corner amidst a green garden atmosphere, falling asleep with a cup of coffee. Caffeine is caffeine, haha.

It's so nice to bring your laptop and work here, or bring your favorite book to read and sip coffee in this corner. I love it.

Amidst the spacious, tree-filled accommodation buildings, there is also a swimming pool as seen in the picture.

Garden Pool

A large swimming pool with a mountain atmosphere // Khao Tammachak viewpoint of Pattaya Bay and rows of coconut trees around the pool

The swimming pool also has a slide. Ho ho, this is the kids' favorite corner. Slide down and you're in the kids' pool.

The tall coconut trees, as seen in the picture, must have grown alongside the hotel for a long time. Look, they are even taller than the fourth floor. And this entire building zone is the Tropical deluxe room, where the lower floor is the Access Pool. You can open the door and sit by the pool or take off your clothes and swim as you please.

I'm staying in this zone too, Ground floor TROPICAL DELUXE. Sitting and sipping beer with a beautiful view of the pool, as you can see.

View from the room

A cold beer, my favorite drink, and a moment to relax and unwind.

At this garden pool, one corner is a Garden Bar where we can order a variety of drinks to sit and drink, most of which are cocktails. This green glass is a Singapore Sling to drink before moving on to a glass of beer.

How's the pool view?

There are mermaids too.

Lotus Spa of Siam

This place also stands out with its spa. The spa will be comfortable in the middle of this atmosphere with the fragrant smell of various incense.

The teakwood house of Lotus Spa of Siam

Upon reaching the front zone of the main building at Ocean Wing, this building, when viewed from the air, will appear as a diamond-shaped building, a diamond, or an equilateral triangle with the tip facing downwards. It was designed with the concept of "ไรอยากรู้เหมือนกัน" (I'm not sure what this means, but I've heard that the person who designed this building is the same person who designed the famous Oriental Hotel in Bangkok).

The Greenery

The central hall of the diamond-shaped or triangular Ocean Wing building is dedicated to an open space. It is a relaxing corner. In the evening, people come to sit and play the piano. It is decorated with tropical plants under the Greenery concept. In one corner, there is a statue of Hanuman flirting with his girlfriend. // It should be his girlfriend, but in the story, Mr. Namfah is too lazy to find out who she is.

Lobby

The lobby is very spacious. This is an old hotel, entering its 41st year, which is unexpectedly different from what I thought before coming. // I imagined that it would be old and dilapidated, but it was luxurious. It seems that it has been renovated regularly.

A piano that will play soft music for you to listen to in the evening at The Greenery hall and a close-up view of the Hanuman statue. Look at this, it's so cute.

Sunrise Sunset Restaurant

One of the many restaurants at Siam Bayshore is located right next to the lobby. This restaurant serves breakfast buffet from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. It also serves lunch and dinner, making it open 24 hours a day. The menu features dishes from all over the world.

Besides this restaurant, Siam Bayshore also has many other restaurants, such as:

  • Explorer Bar & Lounge, which is decorated like a miniature museum of ancient artifacts. Don't miss it // but I missed it _ _"
  • Siam Elephant Bar and Restaurant, decorated with a focus on Thai-ness, Thai food
  • Garden Pavilion Cafe, which I showed you a little bit above
  • Bali-Hai by The Sea, an outdoor seafood dinner zone on the balcony by the sea
  • Bali-Hai Chinese and Seafood, a Chinese restaurant by the sea, Sichuan and Shanghai style Chinese food, and also has Peking duck menu

Alright, it's time to take you on a tour of the rooms. Siam Bayshore has a total of 5 room types, all of which have balconies with views. There are three types of views: sea view, pool view, and garden view.

Free WiFi in every room, no password required. In fact, free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

The room types are as follows:

  1. Tropical Deluxe ... 40 sqm. Garden view, pool view
  2. Executive Deluxe ... 40 sqm. Garden view, sea view
  3. Ocean Deluxe ... 40 sqm. Sea view

Let's take a look at the first room // Let's take a look at some types and themes in brief.

Deluxe Suite >>> CHIC theme

Chic means stylish, trendy, and modern. The atmosphere is cool and chic, with wooden furniture and parquet floors. There is a living room, two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, and a kitchen.

Deluxe Suite >>> Chinese theme

Designed in a Chinese modern style, the walls are decorated with Chinese figures, Chinese art, and Chinese stories. The room layout of each theme is similar, with the difference being the theme of the decoration.

The headboard is a painting of three dragons.

Deluxe Suite >>> TURKISH theme

The concept is Turkish style, with Turkish-style cups, dishes, and furniture adorning it.

The headboard wall is a distinctive Turkish-style pattern, as is the chandelier that plays with light and shadow to create beautiful patterns of light.

The walls are adorned with scenes depicting the daily life of the people of Istanbul.

The TV seating area in the corner of the living room is piled with giant pillows, allowing you to sit, lie down, and watch TV in the true Turkish style.

After exploring the various themes of the Deluxe Suite rooms, from chic to Chinese to Turkish, let's move on to other room types.

OCEAN Deluxe

The name suggests a full view of the sea. You can see both Pattaya Bay and Laem Bali-Hai. It is decorated in a modern Thai style.

TROPICAL Deluxe

This is the same type of room I stayed in before. It has a strong Thai feel to it. The headboard is a trapezoid shape, which is a typical Thai design.

The bathtub is very large. If you come with your partner, you can both lie down and soak in the water together, taking turns rubbing each other's backs.

What else is there? Oh, in the beachfront zone, there is a Beach Pool in the Baech Club. The view here is very beautiful in the morning and evening for those who like to take pictures. // But I forgot to take pictures. For those who like to swim, I think swimming in the Garden Pool is much more fun.

That's all for now. I've passed it on to my friends for review. We were a large group of bloggers who stayed there, so expect to see a variety of reviews soon, each with their own unique perspective and expertise. Some of them are food experts, while others are detail-oriented and pick up on every little thing. As for me, well, I'm the dipping sauce guy. So this review is a casual, dipping sauce-style review to whet your appetite. See you in the next review!
