... Hello everyone! My name is Bird. Haha

... My friends and I, 5 people, took a (free) train to Ubon Ratchathani province. Our destination was Sam Phan Bok. Now that we're back, I'd like to share some photos with you. Thailand still has many beautiful tourist attractions for us to experience.

... Let's get started then ^^

Let's start with the information first. You can read it and see how to get there.

... The Three Thousand Bends of the Mekong River became known and visible to tourists when the TAT's advertisement series featuring Bird Thongchai began to air, showing the tourist attraction. The ending scene of this advertisement series became a question: Where is this place? Does Thailand have such a place? Since then, the Three Thousand Bends of the Mekong River has become a well-known and popular tourist destination. The Three Thousand Bends of the Mekong River is a rocky shoal under the Mekong River during the flood season, which is caused by the swirling water eroding into more than 3,000 pools, or 3,000 bends. Bok, or pool, refers to a deep pool in the rocky shoal under the Mekong River. The word "bok" is a Lao language that is commonly used, and it will appear during the dry season when the water dries up. The rocky shoal will then emerge from the water, becoming a magnificent natural wonder in the middle of the Mekong River, so beautiful and strange that the villagers call it the Grand Canyon of the Mekong River.

We took a free train from Hua Lamphong, departing at 3:20 PM. We arrived at Ubon Ratchathani Railway Station around 4 AM. We dozed off and woke up waiting for the car we rented. Then we went on a trip to Wat Nong Pa Pong, Kaeng Sapue, Kaeng Tana, and Pha Taem.

... I'll skip these for now and jump straight to the Three Thousand Bends. ^^

… We arrived at Sam Phan Bok in the late afternoon. We had something to eat and then went down to explore. I recommend coming in the late afternoon after 4 pm. It's much better than in the middle of the day when the sun is very hot. 555

A wide angle shot, there are many angles to take photos here. The light comes and goes quickly.

It was already very late when I arrived. The sun was about to set. I ate too much, haha. 555

In the twilight sky, the light is dim, the sun is about to set, and the moon is about to rise.

Fisheye, the round world ^^

For those who are taking pictures at night, please be careful. It's very dark, so safety first. Go with a group of people. When I went there, while I was taking pictures, there were flashlights walking towards us all the time. So I decided to pack up and go back to shore, just to be safe.

I only managed to take a few photos. 😭😭😭

After that, we all went to our tents to sleep. We agreed to meet at 4 am to capture the sunrise.

... Before coming here, I did some research and found that the moon is still bright, so it will be difficult to see the Milky Way.

... As expected !!!!

It's quite enjoyable to just sit and watch.

Then we continued walking and taking pictures, being careful not to climb too much. ^^

... This picture was drawn on a board using a flashlight.

A newbie photographer, still not good enough. Haha.

Lost in the moment, taking photos, I didn't realize... Oh no!! The morning light is coming!

I quickly climbed up to the spot I had chosen yesterday to wait for the first light.

The sun is up! Take a deep breath!

Worth the wait.

My travel companion is taking pictures on the other side.

As the sun began to rise higher, I moved to find a good angle for taking photos.

There are so many angles to choose from.

Wide angle from the top of the rapids, please.

^^

Up and down, lying flat, having fun.

Taking pictures is so much fun.

Come down here, please.

They had a lot of fun climbing up and down.

I like this part a lot. 555

This is the last picture of Sam Phan Bok. I'll continue later.

.... Then we continued to Keng Hin Ngam, Hat Chom Dao, which is not far from Sam Phan Bok. There is a white sandy beach here, but we didn't go down.

... At Kaeng Hin Ngam, there will be little guides to take us there. This little one's name is Nong Ice. His climbing skills are amazing.

Not to be outdone, he jumped to show the children.

This spot is called "Phu Wat Jai" (Heart-Testing Cliff), a beautiful rocky rapids.

He himself 555

Before returning, I stopped by the high sand beach. It is located before reaching Khemmarat District. It is a high sand dune with very fine sand.

... Oh, that's it for the pictures. I guess we'll end it here then. Haha, that was easy.

... Please help promote tourism in Thailand. There are still many beautiful places to visit. And don't forget to take care of the tourist attractions. Let's help each other take care of them so that they will be beautiful forever.

... Thank you.
