Hello friends, this is another countless trip to "Phu Thap Boek" for me. Normally, I would visit here during the winter, but this time I wanted to try something different. There was a trip that made me enjoy traveling during the rainy season, so I decided to try conquering Thap Boek during the rainy season. And it didn't disappoint me at all. But there were some points that made me feel that "Thap Boek" has changed...
The rain brings nature to life, making it look lush, green, and moist. This is why I love traveling during the rainy season, even though many people might think it's too wet and not worth visiting. But for me, it's not an obstacle at all. In this review, I won't focus on the popular spots that everyone has seen, but I will post photos from a perspective that may be harder to find. I will focus on the unique nature and the way of life of the people. For this trip, I only had half a day here.
First of all, I have to admit that I'm not very good at taking pictures. I don't really pay attention to adjusting the settings, so I just take pictures as soon as I see something. This makes the pictures look ordinary, because I don't focus on how the pictures will turn out, but rather on the memories I have of them. ^^

Recently, Khao Kho has become very popular. Everyone wants to come and experience it. I myself come often, 3-4 times a year. But this time I came during the rainy season and saw a completely different atmosphere from the winter. Looking at the rain teasing the various trees, it made me want to stop time here for a long time.
Before heading up to the peak of Phu Thap Boek, I passed by a coffee shop called "Small Ville". The atmosphere looked nice, so I had to stop by to take some pictures and order a coffee to enjoy the ambiance. Let's just say I took a little "Slow life" break here.
Stop by for a cup and sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere. Luckily, today I saw some fog.
Just seeing the mist is worth the trip. Even though it has been raining all day, it doesn't make me feel bored. Instead, it makes me feel more excited. This trip is full of moisture.
After sitting and enjoying the view at the coffee shop, I drove up slowly, opened the window to feel the breeze and enjoyed the scenery (If you don't do this, you're considered outdated, because everyone does it, lol. It saves a lot of air conditioning). The atmosphere was so cool.
Along the way, we encountered many beautiful viewpoints. I was getting more and more excited because the higher we drove, the more beautiful the scenery became. I stopped at almost every point, not wanting to miss a single one.
The atmosphere is so good, everyone wants to spend a long time here. This kind of atmosphere is not something you can see every day. It really depends on the timing. I consider myself lucky to be able to see it.
After this point, drive up a little further and you will find another spot where everyone who drives by has to stop. I myself didn't hesitate to grab my camera and run out of the car without even worrying about it. Haha! Because the image I saw in front of me was too tempting.
On the way to the top of the mountain, I stopped by a few places. This particular spot is another popular viewpoint. I can't remember the name, but there's a small pavilion and two large rocks where you can stand and take some cool pictures.
As I continued to take photos, my stomach began to growl. I thought to myself that as soon as I reached the top of the mountain, I would run to buy some instant noodles and slurp them down with hot water.
After driving all the way to the top of the mountain, I finally got to eat the most delicious and famous food here. Haha, it's the most delicious instant noodles (because I'm so hungry).
Eating instant noodles while enjoying the view, I see the changing atmosphere of this place even more. This place is starting to be filled with many accommodations, becoming a full-fledged business. It looks very crowded.
After a while, I saw a cute little boy. Without hesitation, I rushed over to take a picture as usual. He was so adorable!
After a while, looking into the distance, the rain started to come again. I had to eat quickly and find a place to shelter urgently. Because the wind was strong, I wouldn't survive sitting here. Hahaha.
It's time to set off to capture more images, retracing our steps back down the same path. However, I didn't go up to the temperature measurement tower because it was too crowded and there were too many cars. So I opted to capture the atmosphere along the way. As I drove down, I came across a village, so I stopped by for a stroll.
The children are walking hand in hand, so cute.
While walking around, I noticed a shop with a large crowd. Out of curiosity, I went in to ask what was going on. I was told that there was a funeral being held there. ^^
After finishing my walk and taking photos in this village, it was time for me to descend the mountain and continue my journey. On my way down, I also stopped to take some pictures. Simply put, it would have been a shame not to capture these images, as the atmosphere today was so refreshing.
In conclusion, visiting Khao Kho during the rainy season is a truly amazing experience. I encourage my friends to try this change of scenery, as there is much more to Khao Kho than meets the eye. It's not just about the sea of mist or the cabbage fields, but also about the local way of life that we can learn from in the many villages. When I return, I will definitely be reviewing these small villages. Thank you to my friends who have read my post to the end. Haha, I apologize that there are not many pictures. If there are any mistakes, I apologize.
