Hello everyone, today I would like to review a peaceful onsen town where you can breathe in the fresh air of the sulfur-free hot springs, enjoy the freshest seafood, and most importantly, a town with few Thai tourists. It is mainly Japanese people who come here to relax. Most of the accommodations here are ryokans, which you can visit without staying overnight, but staying overnight is more worthwhile... Let's get started.

The journey from Osaka takes about 3 hours by JR, but we stopped by Himeji first (we used the Kansai wide area pass). It's quite a distance, but I can assure you it's worth it to come and relax for real. It's so good!

For this stay, we stayed at Shinonome So. The price is per person, and including tax, it came out to about 9,000 yen per person. There was no breakfast or dinner included. If there were, it would have been more expensive.

Inside the room, the accommodation will prepare hot tea with red bean sweets. With the atmosphere and the weather here, it's twice as delicious! ^^

Our accommodation also has a pool for soaking. We came to soak in the morning. It was so relaxing.

The front of the bathroom downstairs has a beautiful koi pond and turtles.

No matter which hotel you stay at here, they will provide you with a barcode to use for entering the onsen, and they will also provide you with a yukata to wear while walking around town. It's a great atmosphere, and there's no additional cost. You can enter any of the baths, and there are many of them. We were only able to soak in three of the baths ourselves, as we were getting soft and it started to rain.

The atmosphere was great. When we went, there was an onsen festival going on. Lucky us^^

At the festival, there were snacks for sale, games to play, and old-fashioned toys for sale. It was a great experience.

The atmosphere around the city is beautiful, peaceful, and very good.

The purple area is a soaking pool. There is another pool. Each pool is different inside, but no matter which pool you soak in, it's great.

How much is this temple?

In the evening, after enjoying a relaxing onsen, we went out to find some food. Since we were in a coastal town, we decided to look for a seafood restaurant. ...

This city is famous for its crabs and seafood. It's super fresh and delicious!

The restaurant we ate at, I apologize for not taking a picture of the storefront, it was raining. But if anyone comes, it will be very noticeable. The restaurant has menus posted all over the place. Inside, there are fish tanks everywhere. It's located near the train station, just walk along, this restaurant is very prominent.

This is the food we eat.

The first dish was squid sashimi. We were allowed to choose it ourselves from the tank. It was so fresh that the tentacles were still moving when we squeezed lemon on it. I even sucked on the tongue a little, but the flesh was so sweet and delicious that I can't even describe it. This dish cost 1,000 yen.

Sea urchin roe!! We give it the The best ever! It's not fishy at all! It's so sweet! It's delicious like I've never had before, because most of it is fishy. This dish is about 2000 yen.

Shrimp, fresh, sweet, delicious, about 2000 yen.

Crab, oh crab! It comes in a hot pot with a stove, so you can grill it fresh. It's sweet, very sweet! The price is around 2,000 yen.

Crab fried rice, a simple-looking menu, but it's delicious. There's a lot of crab meat. Two people can eat it for about 1500 yen.

And finally, the scallops. Delicious, sweet, and just as good as the others. They cost 700 yen, the cheapest of the lot, but the taste is just as good.

Our dinner is finished. We actually wanted to eat fish, but they were sold out. The fish was very cheap, only 1200 yen for a whole fish! It's such a shame.

This is the end of my review for today. I enjoyed the venue, the food, and the atmosphere. If I have the chance, I will definitely go again.

If you have the chance, don't forget to stop by and enjoy yourself.

^^
