Hooray! It's time to escape the city. This time I had the opportunity to stay at a resort near Amphawa. I've been wanting to try it for a long time because it's a resort that's similar to a garden house (personally, I like this style). They dug a canal and built small rooms to give it a real riverside atmosphere. The name is "Asita Eco Resort". Just the word "Eco" caught my eye. First of all, I would like to thank the resort for allowing me to stay and write a review this time. And thank you to all the reception staff who waited for me until late at night to welcome me.
My journey to the resort took me along Rama II Road. It took just over an hour to get there. Unfortunately, I arrived after dark, so I haven't seen the surroundings yet. All I've seen is the bed, haha! I'm going to call it a night and get some rest. I'll explore the resort in the morning and see what interesting things it has to offer.
As I mentioned before, the accommodation is right next to the canal. When I woke up in the morning, I saw a small canal right in front of me. Even though it was a canal dug by the resort itself, it made me feel good to walk out to the balcony by the water and breathe in the morning air.
This is the first time I've had the opportunity to relax in this area properly. I usually just come here for a day trip. There are many different types of accommodation available, including large Thai-style houses and small cottages by the canal. Oh, I forgot to mention that this place also hosts events such as weddings and parties.
The resort is located in Tambon Thai Haad. There is a large canal flowing through it, which is a canal that flows from the Mae Klong River. The overall atmosphere is very peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The morning air is cool and comfortable, but the afternoon is scorching hot. ^^
This is a pavilion by the canal. Every morning, monks paddle their boats here to collect alms. However, you need to wake up early, or you'll miss the opportunity like me. T-T
After exploring the resort, it was time for some breakfast. The resort went all out, and everything looked delicious. Just the atmosphere by the water and the delicious breakfast was enough to make me happy.
After a satisfying meal, it's time for some post-meal activities. One option is to paddle a boat in the small canals that surround the resort. This is a must-do activity for anyone staying at Asita Eco Resort, and it will make you feel like you've stepped into the world of the classic Thai novel, Khwan Ruean. Haha!
Next, I will take you on a tour inside the resort to see what it has to offer. Even though it is a small resort, there are many corners to capture photos. Each corner is perfectly arranged.
A small swimming pool located in the center of the resort.
The stir-fried corner is a great place to relax, read a book, or even take a nap. You might even fall asleep if you stay there too long, haha!
If you want to exercise, there are bicycles here for you to ride. Choose whichever one you like.
Another outdoor seating area
The entrance to the resort is very stylishly designed.
This is my favorite corner. It's right next to the Bang Reu Hak Canal. A cold beer or a hot shot of coffee.
If you are looking for a natural resort surrounded by trees and located by a canal where life is still simple, I recommend you try staying here. It is not far from Bangkok, and just like that, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
