Escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a day, find a cool place to stay, not too far from Bangkok. Finally, I stumbled upon and wanted to go to Khao Yai Kirithara Thep Resort in Pak Chong District. I saw the pictures on the website and looked at the information for a long time. It seemed to be the most suitable place to escape the city and embrace nature and the water. When the day and time were right, I immediately packed my bags and started the car.
For those who are looking for a place to relax not far from Bangkok and have a plan to experience nature and the river at Khao Yai, I think this place would be another option for those who like the convenience surrounded by nature as a bonus. I myself have traveled to Khao Yai many times, but mostly I choose to sleep in a tent to enjoy the atmosphere. But this time I wanted to try something different, but it was worth it for just one night's stay.

The accommodation I got was right next to the stream. When I arrived at the room, I wanted to lie down on the bed immediately. Because of my craziness, I arrived here around 3 am. Haha. I slept soundly tonight because I could hear the sound of the stream flowing all night long.
This accommodation offers a variety of options to choose from, with prices varying depending on your preferences. The hotel grounds are very large, but luckily I got a room that was right next to the front, so I didn't have to walk far. Well, tonight I'll just rest and recharge, and tomorrow morning I'll wake up and take some morning pictures. Time flies, it feels like I only slept for a few hours. I opened the back door to get some fresh air and saw the stream below. Just that made me feel like I had slept soundly. Oh, the room I stayed in was called "Rim Tarn 881". Next time, it's definitely going to be a winner, haha!
The back of the room has a balcony where you can come out to breathe the morning air. However, during the winter, the water in the stream will be low. But if you come to stay during the rainy season, the water will be high, but the color may not be as clear as it is now.
After that, I followed the sound of the water and took pictures of the surroundings before breakfast started. This is the spot I saw the most pictures of on the website. There are kayaks for guests to paddle, but I woke up a little too early, so no one was playing yet.
Not far away, there is a suspension bridge that allows you to walk across the stream. And this is another spot that I really like. On the other side, you can see the resort's activity area, which is set up for groups.
Sometimes, what is already natural, plus a little bit of what we create, can make it perfect in an indescribable way.
Soon after, the sound of hunger from my little stomach started to rumble. I immediately walked to the dining room to fill my stomach before continuing to take pictures.
Even the restaurant has a stream flowing through it. Just imagine having food on the table and eating it while watching the stream. That's just awesome^^
The atmosphere around the restaurant is great. There are many corners for taking pictures.
This is what my breakfast looks like. There are actually a lot of food options to choose from, but I decided to just have this much because I don't eat a lot. ^^ I want to eat quickly so I can go out and take more pictures. If I wait any longer, I'm afraid the sun will come out.
After a satisfying meal, I rushed out to capture the surrounding scenery of the resort. As I mentioned earlier, the resort is quite spacious, so an old man like me started to feel tired. Haha! I might not have captured every corner, but it was definitely worth choosing to stay here.
Whenever we're in a place we enjoy, time always seems to tease us. It constantly speeds up, doesn't it? T-T
For those who want to experience the coolness of the water, don't worry. You can play comfortably. The water is shallow and just right. It's clear and very inviting.
I'm still walking around taking pictures, trying to enjoy myself as much as possible before I head to my next destination. ^^
And then it was time for me to say goodbye to this beautiful resort. I wish I could stay another week, haha. For those who have read the review and want to try it out like me, come and experience it for yourself. The nature that coexists with people and the well-designed buildings. The accommodation may be a bit far from the entrance of Thanarat Road before going up to Khao Yai, but it also made me realize that the farther away you are, the more beautiful nature tends to hide there.
Getting to the resort is not difficult. Drive straight along Thanon Rat, at kilometer 14, turn left into the alley with the pink police box. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and continue along the road for about 7-8 kilometers. You will then see the entrance to the resort, which has two elephants standing guard.
Finally, I would like to thank Khao Yai Kirithara Thep Resort and Khun Bo for their warm welcome to the Backpackers Across Thailand team and for giving us the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of this place. If there are any mistakes in this review, I apologize.
