Hello everyone, on the occasion of our 2nd wedding anniversary on July 8th, we had the opportunity to travel to Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. We stayed at Cae Villa Huahin Resort. Here are some photos for you to enjoy. On July 8th, we left Korat at 3 am. Our first destination was Wat Tal Yot, which is said to have the largest Luang Pho To statue in the world. I wonder which temple in our hometown has a bigger Luang Pho To statue. It took us about 6 hours to get there. We took our time, stopping to worship Buddha and make merit. That day, we donated to the coffin fund. May good things happen to us. The temple was quite quiet, probably because we arrived early in the morning and it was a Tuesday, so there weren't many people around.
After making merit, our next destination was to try the cake at Laena Natu Bed & Bakery. We saw reviews in this room from many people and were very excited, but the result was... we missed it!! Because the evil Sygic took us to who knows where. According to the map, it was just a little past the Jim Daeng restaurant, but we were disappointed because we circled the beach many times. So we called the resort to ask for directions. My husband was driving, and I was the one who called, but by chance, we weren't meant to eat because I'm very bad at remembering maps and everything. Hehe. With my husband's fatigue from driving, I, his wife, felt sorry for him, so I sweetly said to my husband, "Honey, if you can't find it, it's okay if we don't eat." Gosh! Even though I was very disappointed in my heart, I thought to myself, "Oh well, we'll probably stop by and eat at some other restaurant."
After missing out on the dream cake, our next destination was the Hua Hin Sam Phan Nam Floating Market. But we missed it again because there was no one there. It was very quiet. So we missed it again. At this point, we were starving. It was after 10:00 am, and we still hadn't eaten anything. We set our sights on Baan Isara restaurant. While we were on the road, not far from the restaurant, I caught a glimpse of the Hua Hin Market Village shopping mall on the left. I quickly told my husband, "Honey, should we eat at the mall just in case there's nothing else ahead?" My husband turned the car right away. Okay, let's eat at the mall. We came to Hua Hin and ate at the mall. It was great! In the end, our breakfast and lunch ended at Tam Laem restaurant. The menu that day included minced pork salad, thick shrimp tom yum soup, and grilled pork neck. I apologize that I didn't take any pictures. You understand the situation, right? We ate everything. That meal cost us over 300 baht, including 2 plates of rice and 2 bottles of Coke. After that, we walked around and looked for something to eat for when we got back to our room. It was almost afternoon, so we decided to wait to check in. We checked in at Cae Villa at 2 pm. It's located in Hua Hin Soi 88, not far from this mall. At the entrance of Hua Hin Soi 88, there is a Power Buy store. Turn in there. Cae Villa is not far from the entrance of the alley. Drive in for a bit, and you'll find it on the right-hand side. It's a concrete wall with a nice, shady parking lot. It's not too big or too small, just the right size for the rooms because there are only 10 rooms.

Cae Villa's parking lot.
From the parking lot to the lobby, please.
After parking the car, let's walk to the lobby. There is a male staff at the counter. He is very friendly and speaks well. He informed us that it was not yet check-in time and suggested other tourist attractions in Hua Hin in case we wanted to go while waiting. But the author and her husband were very tired, so they decided to wait for the time. After checking in, we sat and waited. A female staff member brought us a welcome drink, which was blueberry soda. It tasted good. Even my husband, who usually doesn't drink anything strange besides plain water and soda, said it was delicious.
The lobby area.
There are umbrellas available for guests both in the room and in the lobby. We used both of them.
Around 2 pm, the staff came to inform us that the room was ready. They helped us carry our bags to the room. Today we got room number 10, which is right next to the lobby. It's private, but there might be some noise from people talking and walking by. It's not too bad, though.
We booked this room a month in advance because we love it so much and didn't want to miss out. The price when we booked was 3,500 baht. There are a total of 10 rooms, all the same type. The price may vary depending on the time of year. Our 3,500 baht included free wifi and a mini bar. Breakfast was advertised as 300 baht per person during the promotion, but we didn't use the service. Let's take a look at pictures of our room tonight. It's amazing!
Here's a picture of the hallway in front of our room.
Opening the door, you'll see the room on the left. Go straight in.
The front wooden door of the room is made of wood. It uses a wooden latch. The glass door in the picture above is a sliding lock. The first part is the living room. There is a sofa, mini bar, dining table, and refrigerator in this area.
Next is the bed zone. The 6-foot bed with 6 pillows is super comfortable. It will suck your soul away and you will sleep soundly until morning. This zone has a bed and a TV on the left-hand side. I apologize, I forgot to take a picture. There is music to listen to at the head of the bed, all romantic. There is a knob to adjust the volume, I don't know what to call it, haha. The dressing table is on the left side of the bed. There is a hairdryer for you ladies. Next to the wardrobe, there are 2 robes, a safe, and a laundry bag. I forgot to take a picture of that too.
The highlight of Cae Villa is the swimming pool and the soaking tub. I love it here so much. I am about 160 cm tall, and the water in the pool is about chest-deep. The soaking tub has both hot and cold water. In the evening, after dinner, I come back and soak in the tub. It's so comfortable and relaxing. I can really unwind and forget about all my stress.
Next is the bathroom, which is fully equipped with amenities. The toilet has a bidet spray.
After relaxing at our leisure, around 5 pm, we inquired with the staff at the counter and learned that the Hua Hin Night Market was not far away, about 1 kilometer from the alley where we were staying, Hua Hin 88 to Toei Roong, Hua Hin 72. So, my husband and I decided to walk there. At Cae, we were asked to leave our key at the counter. As we walked, it was drizzling. We admired the cityscape as we walked, and by the time we reached the market, we were quite tired. There was nothing new at the market. Mostly small souvenirs and several seafood restaurants. That day, we decided to choose Krua Lung Ja restaurant. There was no particular reason; we just walked past it and felt like eating there. Haha, we weren't disappointed. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious and to our liking. The whole restaurant seemed to be full of foreigners; my husband and I were the only Thais there. We ordered grilled prawns (half a kilo for 300 baht), steamed squid with lime (180 or 150 baht, not sure), and crab stir-fried with curry powder (I don't remember the prices of these two dishes). This meal cost around 700 baht, including two plates of rice, one Coke, and one bottle of water. It was delicious. The grilled prawns were big and filled the plate. At first, I thought it was a whole kilo. I apologize that I didn't take any pictures again. It's just that my husband's camera doesn't work well when there are a lot of people around. He gets camera shy. 55
After dinner, we returned to our room around 9 pm. On the way back, we passed a 7-Eleven, so we stopped to get some drinks to sip while soaking in the tub. Oh, I miss it. I want to go again.
The atmosphere in the evening. This picture was taken with an iPad, so it may not be very clear.
The next morning, we planned to watch the sunrise at the beach. Cae is not located by the sea, it's on the other side. It's about 1 kilometer walk to the beach. We woke up at 6 am, but after walking to the night market last night, we decided not to walk again. Our legs were sore. It would be more convenient to drive. We let Sygic guide us again, as usual. Even though it sometimes takes us on a detour, it has taken us to many provinces. Let's forgive it, shall we?
Hua Hin Beach is probably familiar to everyone in the Blue Room, as many people have reviewed it. So let's just look at the pictures, shall we?
That's all for today. It might be a bit short. We didn't go anywhere. We've been to Hua Hin once before and visited almost all the interesting places. This time, we didn't know where to go, so we spent most of our time playing in the water at the hotel. Thank you all for following. Sleep tight and sweet dreams.
Signing off with a picture from my personal photographer, my sweetheart.
