[ City Tour on Foot 26-27 September 2015 ]

" A city of strict laws

Beautiful architecture, culture, food, language and fashion

Are charmingly intertwined "

Many people, when they get tired of city life, want to turn their backs on nature. Many other lives that are with nature also want to turn their backs on material progress. Sometimes boredom, plainness, it's not exciting at all, is it? Singapore is probably an example that builds faith for urban society to coexist with nature perfectly. And it's an ideal city for many people who have tried it. From the guarantee of excellence, I have to say that Singapore is one of the first countries that I want to use the word "traveler". I want to cross the sea, swing on a rope, climb, and try living, experiencing the way of life, and learning about cultures that are different from ours. To have fun traveling in Singapore, we don't really need to have any fixed rules. Just follow the laws of their country and then go wherever you want. Whether you want to go solo or in a group, it's up to you. Just believe in your journey.

The Chinese community, whether they are tall and fair-skinned, or short and stocky, they all live here. Most importantly, they are said to be the cleanest Chinese people in the world. I don't know if it's true or not!! Or maybe they just made it up. 555 But many people may know this area well. Because here you can walk and shop for souvenirs in a fun, exciting and entertaining way. There are also many famous restaurants to choose from. But there are still many things in this area that are worth watching, besides the "Green Glass Temple" that many people know. You want to know already, so what are you waiting for...want to meet

This area doesn't have much to offer, it's a border area before crossing over to Sentosa Island, the dream island of many people!! Therefore, in front of the checkpoint, there are restaurants and shopping malls scattered around, such as Vivo City. But the reason I want to recommend this area is because it has one interesting place, which should be the point where we can see the raw nature of Singapore, the greenery. Anyone who wants to come and see the beautiful view in the evening, come and take a deep breath of fresh air, come and see the view that you think shouldn't exist in Singapore, you're right. This place is... Henderson Waves

The oddly shaped wooden bridge, resembling a wave, connects Mount Faber to Telok Blanggah Hill Park. It is a world-renowned bridge with a unique design and is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. Aunty Odie says it's magnificent, with a height of over 36 meters and a length of 274 meters. 8. For the return trip, wait for the same bus number and get off at Vivo City.

Note: This is a humorous and informal translation. The original text uses slang and playful language.

4. Bugis: Bugis

This neighborhood, whose name alone might not ring a bell and would likely be off the beaten path for travelers like us, is recommended because it's a hidden gem frequented by young Singaporeans and a select group of tourists. So, what does that mean? It means there aren't many people! Come on, trust me! You can shop comfortably without feeling crowded. For hardcore shoppers, there's Jalan Sultan, and for those who prefer a touch of Little India, there's "Arab Street" to satisfy your cravings. This area is a melting pot of Chinese and Indian influences, and despite that, there are beautiful places to recommend and share for taking stunning photos.

WHAT TO SEE

The narrow alleyway, however, is interesting because it has been renovated and the spiral staircase has been painted beautifully, making it a great place to take photos. It has transformed a previously unremarkable location into a must-visit destination. I highly recommend it.

6. Esplanade

I recommend this area because it has a uniquely designed fountain that blends in with the modern buildings. This is the Fountain of Wealth, located in the heart of Suntec City. 7. and 8 Yachts Marina Bay & Promenade: Marina Bay & Promenade

Marina Bay and The Promontory are landmarks that captivate tourists with their impressive land reclamation projects. These innovative concepts transform the sea into valuable structures, creating a space that attracts visitors from all over the world. While everyone should include these destinations in their itinerary, there's one hidden gem that deserves your attention: the Helix Bridge Singapore.

  • Helix Bridge Singapore: The Helix Bridge is a pedestrian bridge in Singapore that is shaped like a double helix.

The most prominent highlight for taking pictures at night would be this spot. It is uniquely designed, modern, and resembles a DNA structure. It serves as a bridge connecting the two districts for those who are going to Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer.

How to get there : Get off at Promenade Station >> Exit A. Cross the intersection and walk straight for about 200 meters. You will see an intersection. The bridge is on the right-hand side. The view is beautiful at night. On the left-hand side, you will see the Singapore Flyer.

I won't be able to make it to 9 and 10 as the venue closes earlier. I don't have any photos to share, but I will review the travel process for you.

9. Singapore Botanic Gardens: Singapore Botanic Gardens

Another place for green lovers, the color of comfort, openness, happiness, and relaxation. You must come here, the lungs of Singapore. There are over 6,000 species of plants. How's that for the rawness of this place? It's free to enter, you only have to pay for the part of the international orchid garden. If you like rawness, come on over.

How to get there : Get off at Botanic Gardens or Orchard station

10. Marina Barrage Singapore

The largest reservoir in Singapore has a floating park, which few people know about. It is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Singapore. I highly recommend visiting it. On this trip, I didn't make it in time because the car ran out of time. It closed early. It's a shame. Opening hours are 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

How to get there:

From Downtown Station:

  • Take Exit E.
  • Turn right after exiting the station.
  • Wait at the bus stop for the Free Shuttle Bus.

How are you? 10 recommended places I hope you like it, Singto's fans!! And I hope it will be a good guideline for those who don't have a plan to go to Singapore and where to go. There are still many corners, alleys, buildings, etc. waiting for us to touch and explore. If you have a lot of time, try to find strange and unconventional places. But if you have limited time, choose what you like and want to go. Sometimes, when you want to travel a lot, you want to collect everything. It's a lot of money for tickets and food. I want to collect everything. Let me tell you that the more we travel, the more tired we are. Or try to travel a little, go to a few places first, but collect the details of that point a lot. You should get something good as well.
