A young boy holds out his hand, asking his mother for a ten-baht coin.

He uses it to activate the turnstile, granting him access to a world of imagination.

Upon entering, the boy is stunned to find himself face-to-face with a giant robot, towering over him at a height of 4 meters.

"It's Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots," the boy mutters to himself.

If you're driving along kilometer 55.5 on the Asian Highway heading towards Bangkok,

you'll see a giant tin cow statue standing prominently by the roadside on a large white kilometer marker, waving its arms to invite you to stop by.

'Ang Thong Iron Doll House, Handicraft Learning Center from Scrap Iron' by Mr. Pairoj Thanomwong,

the creator who uses leftover spare parts from old engines to make superhero robots

from famous movies and cartoons, which are so realistic that you wouldn't believe they were made from

scrap metal!

"Take it slow, son," the mother said as the little boy ran to greet Bumblebee.

The yellow robot that can transform into a classic Chevrolet Camaro, a prominent character from the Transformers movie.

Before turning to meet the giant green Hulk, one of Marvel's heroes, next to Captain America.

Next is the ten-headed Ravana robot, an animation work by Thai people.

And that's not all, the Predators, with their bared fangs and weapons at the ready, are preparing to fight the evil alien horde from the depths of space.

They are joined by the Decepticon army of robots, led by the power-mad Megatron.

And then there's Godzilla, the Iron Giant, and even Chucky the killer doll, with Darth Vader likely lurking in the background.

Our forces may not be enough, so we'll need to call on Thor, the god of thunder, for help!!

R2-D2, the resourceful droid from Star Wars, what are you waiting for? Go get Iron Man and Superman to reinforce us!!

We must protect this world!!

I couldn't help but smile when I saw the world of the little boy who was happy with his imagination.

The imagination that was pieced together from small pieces of scrap metal. Today, I was able to piece together a small part of my childhood again.

I secretly miss the red ant, the tiger mask, Ultraman, Kinnikuman, Parman, Atom the Boy, Gundam

Dragon Ball, Five Supermen, Robocop, Saint Seiya, Arale, Kenshiro, Samurai Trooper, Jiban the Enforcer

Do you remember them!?

These are the superheroes of my era

The house of iron dolls is like a small amusement park for children, but from an adult's perspective, it's like visiting an art gallery.

We have to admit that Mr. Pairoj is really skilled. From making them as a hobby and displaying them at home, people started to ask to buy them.

So he started selling them, turning it into a small business. Now he's exporting them and selling them overseas.

I sat down to rest and ordered an iced espresso to cool down inside the Iron Man coffee shop, which was decorated in a quirky style.

I watched the children run around and play as if the robots were actually moving.

It made me think back to a question someone once asked me: what is your favorite time of life?

I believe that more than half of the people would answer that they want to go back to being a child, a time in life when they don't have to take on many responsibilities.

They don't have to face any worries or burdens. It seems that life is rosy, full of laughter and fun.

But if you look closely, I think childhood is the time when we shed the most tears.

It's a time of life when we have to rely on our parents, and we don't always get what we want because our parents are always there to stop us.

Children have their own worries and anxieties, just like adults, but we may not remember them during those times.

For me, I like this time of my life the most. The working age that is with the present is happy with it.

Because if you want to do something, go anywhere, want to buy something, create it yourself, take responsibility for yourself, you don't have to rely on anyone.

I think the life that doesn't have to depend on anyone is the happiest.

But once in a while, it feels like going back to the small space where I was a child again, which is also happy.

Just don't get attached to it, because happiness in the past can't be compared to happiness in the present.

This trip to the Dollhouse, if it were in the old days, I would have had to beg my mother to take me. Today, I'm the one taking my mother.

But why does my mother still feel like she's the one taking me!

The path of little Ai Fai to the Iron Doll House

It's very easy to get there. If you're coming from the heart of Bangkok, the fastest way is to take the expressway towards Chaeng Watthana and get off at Bang Pa-in.

Then take Highway 347 Bang Pa-in - Bang Pa-han. This road is not crowded and easy to drive.

Drive until you reach the intersection, turn left onto Asia Road (Highway 32) and follow the signs to Ang Thong and Sing Buri.

About 6 kilometers after the turnoff to Ang Thong town, you will see the Iron Doll House on the right side of the road.

Go past it and make a U-turn about 1 kilometer further. The total distance from Bangkok is approximately 109 kilometers.

The Iron Doll House has convenient parking in front. To enter, you need to insert a 20 baht coin to open the mechanical door.
