The thing is, it's durian season right now.

Driven by... a pre-existing love for durian, I haven't had any this year. I've only been able to look at it and check the prices in the market, which are quite high (at least for me). I'm hesitant to buy it because I need to be frugal. I've considered trying a fruit buffet at various orchards, hoping to get my money's worth. However, I've seen reports that some experiences haven't been great, with limited options and, most importantly, the additional travel costs involved.

I just saw the news that.. There is a budget fruit buffet not far from Bangkok. It sounds interesting. I heard at first that the price is 99 baht per person. I thought to myself.. If I want to eat durian, I will definitely have to pay more. At this price, there shouldn't be any durian or something like that. So I tried reading what people who had been there before said. Oh..hey There is durian to eat too, and you can eat as much as you want. ..I have to try this!

In the end, I finally made it to the Thai Fruit Festival, an all-you-can-eat fruit buffet for only 99 baht per person! It was held from June 9th to 20th, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Ai-Yara Market in Pathum Thani. Let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! All-you-can-eat durian, with no time limit... Check out what I found!

:: Queue/Pay/Receive a queue number ::

When you reach the market... you will see a lot of people queuing in front of you. That's for sure. I must say that there are really a lot of people, a lot of people, a lot of people 555+ Whoever comes must be prepared, mentally prepared, and prepared to accept the situation. Because you have to stand in line and wait for a while, depending on the number of people who come each day. But with good quality and cheap prices like this, it's natural that everyone will be interested. So you have to understand that you will definitely encounter a huge crowd. If possible, you should come early in the morning. And on Saturdays and Sundays, there will definitely be more people than usual.

Find the end of the line and then go stand in line. During this time, find activities to do while waiting in line to kill time. Play Facebook, chat on Line, the line keeps moving. For today, on a weekday, it took almost 2 hours.

Seniors (70 years and older) enter for free without queuing.

When it's your turn, pay 99 baht and get your queue card, then you can walk in!

With the queue as long as a kite's tail... While waiting in line, there were some who couldn't wait because there were so many people. Some people chose to change their plans by buying fruit to eat at home instead. As it was already a fruit market, there were plenty of fruits to choose from according to their needs.

And... Those who are still waiting in line will continue to wait. Once you get inside, you can't help but feel a sense of relief. 555+ The air is cool and refreshing, and there are so many fruits on display. This is just a part of what's available for sale (not the buffet yet).

Once you enter... you will have to wait for the staff to call your number again. They will arrange the seating for you, whether you come as a couple, a group, or a family. The staff will take care of it.

After getting a seat, let's see what fruits are available. There is a table with various fruits to choose from according to your preference.

Lychees are arranged in small cups, making them easy to grab. If you want more, just take some more.

Longkong tastes sweet and interesting! All fruits can be eaten without limit.

This mangosteen may look small, but it's quite sweet. You can pick more of any fruit you like.

However, the star of the show that garnered the most attention was undoubtedly the durian! It was the undisputed king of the event. The durians looked incredibly delicious, and you could eat as much as you wanted. You could just keep coming back for more, but there was one condition: you had to queue up to get them, one plate at a time (each plate containing 1-2 durians). You could then eat them and come back for more, as many times as you wanted (the queue wasn't too long today, so you could get a new plate quickly). #EatRepeat

For me.. Today, I'm focusing on durian. I've come to pick up durian many times today. There are staff members who will pick it up for me. There are so many durians!

Ready-to-eat fruit zone A variety of fruits, peeled, trimmed, and chilled, ready to eat. Choose according to your preference.

There are many kinds of fruits, such as watermelon, papaya, grapes, guava, mango, jackfruit, etc.

First set of the day ... Today, we'll be focusing on durian!

Durian .. is considered #good work . It's fragrant, sweet, and delicious. At this point, I feel it's worth the wait in line. I'm so happy to eat durian. I got some small seeds, some big seeds, it depends on which round I went to get it. But I can eat as much as I want, no time limit. That's worth it.

Eating only durian is a bit much, right? So, it's a good idea to find other fruits to eat in between, like lychee. It's sweet with a hint of sourness. While you're eating, the staff will come around to collect your plates, shells, and fruit scraps and dispose of them for you.

Bring a little bit of each fruit, just a little bit. Since I'm already here, I'd like to try everything, but please focus on fruits that have been cut or peeled. Because at this point, I'm too lazy to peel the skin myself. 55

In addition to fruits, there are also drinks (orange juice) and plain water available. (Price included in 99 baht, no need to buy extra)

All of that for just 99 baht eat all you can! No time limit! Just eating durian is worth it!

Finally, today... I didn't spend too much time eating. I mean, I was so full that I just wanted to go home (I really wanted to go to sleep, haha). Just like that, I was able to eat durian to my heart's content. It was worth coming all the way to Airya Market. I think I won't be craving durian for a long time.

Summary of the 99 Baht Fruit Buffet Experience Today

1. It's very crowded, like, super crowded. The line is as long as a kite's tail, just like I said. If you're going, I'm telling you, you need to be prepared, mentally and physically, to stand in line for hours or even several hours. There's a lot of interest, but once you get in, it's worth it for the 99 baht price.

2. It is recommended to queue up early in the morning. Although there will be fewer people (but still a lot), it is still better than queuing up in the evening.

3. The staff did a good job of organizing the event. (I was actually expecting the atmosphere to be chaotic, but it was surprisingly well-organized.)

4. The fruits look delicious and clean.

**Thai Fruit Festival, 99 Baht Fruit Buffet** will be held until June 20, 2016. There are only a few days left. *If you want to eat fruits or eat durian to your heart's content, try to find an opportunity to go (queue up)... See.* **Hehe!**
