Hello friends,
I usually read reviews or write short reviews when I travel, which I will review on my personal Facebook.
Lately, I have created a travel page to share my travel experiences and photos.
If you like to travel, please follow me.

But after visiting Pha Hin Goob, I couldn't help but write a review.
Although I had done some research on how to sleep, eat and live up there, I was still tricked.
I was tricked by Pha Hin Goob, tricked by the porters, tricked by the signs here all the way.
It's annoying, it's annoying... So I have to write a post in case anyone follows me and doesn't get tricked like me.
Let's see what I was tricked into... Hehe
Our trip had 7 members, driving 3 cars ourselves. We left Bangkok at 4 am.
Arrived in Chanthaburi at around 8 am, had breakfast in the city before driving to
Thung Phel Forest Protection Unit by driving on the road to Trat. When we reached the intersection, turn left to Sa Kaeo.
Drive for another 20 kilometers and you will find the entrance to Thung Phel Forest Protection Unit, the starting point of our hike.
As this post was not originally intended to be a review, there are not many photos.
So the photos that I started taking started here...
Wow, look at what he wrote, "Koop Viewpoint". What do you think when you see it?
Oh, it's definitely chill and relaxing. I've been to many viewpoints before, and they're usually easy to walk to.
But... let's see...
After walking for about 5 minutes, I came across this sign.
"Oh, it's easy. 1.4 kilometers to the waterfall. It should only take a short time. I'll walk slowly and take some photos.
In this forest, since it's the rainy season, there are a lot of mushrooms. Many different kinds. I'm having fun taking pictures of them.
I passed through a custard apple forest. I had to be extra careful here because it's full of thorns. If you're not careful, you'll definitely get pricked.
The custard apples are bearing a lot of fruit right now, but let me tell you, most of them are extremely sour. I tried 3 different trees,
and they were all sour. ><"
After about an hour and a half of walking, we reached the waterfall. Okay, I'm still feeling good, but I'm sweating all over. The path we took was through a rather stuffy forest, but at least it wasn't too steep at the beginning, so it was an easy walk. When we arrived at the waterfall, we took a break, sat down to take pictures, and watched the butterflies fluttering around. I forgot to mention that there is no drinking water up there, and the water we brought ourselves wouldn't be enough. So, this waterfall became a place to refill our water. That's the water you see there, fill it up and drink it, don't be shy. At first, I was a little hesitant, but I was more afraid of dying of thirst, so I tried it. It was delicious, even better than the water I bought.
After resting, we continued walking to the second point. The sign said 1.3 kilometers (again).
The path ahead starts to get steeper, but it's not as dense as it was at the beginning. However, the steepness makes it more tiring to walk, as it requires more muscle power to climb. I continued to take pictures as I went, as there were plenty of large trees and strange leaves to photograph.
After walking for about an hour, we reached the resting point at the octagonal rock.
This point is another resting point where we stopped to eat the food we had brought and refill our water bottles.
The water here is not from a stream, but from a small pool of water flowing down from above.
When we filled our bottles, the water was a scary yellow color, but we had no choice. We were very thirsty.
We drank it anyway, and it tasted just like the waterfall we had passed earlier. It had no smell, no color, and was refreshingly delicious.
After resting, we continued walking to the sharp rock point and the cave entrance.
From this point to the sharp rock, the distance is 1.4 kilometers, the same as the distance we walked to the two previous points.
This made us start to wonder if we were being tricked, tricked into thinking it wasn't far.
But there were several rest stops… Oh well, we were totally tricked >___<
But we've come this far, so let's keep walking, what's there to be afraid of? Let's go all out.
But the higher we went, the steeper the path became, steeper, steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and steeper, and It takes quite a long time to walk from this point, about 2 hours or more.
Because my legs were starting to get tired and the path was very steep. I walked a little bit and then rested, walked a little bit and then rested.
But there were mushrooms to take pictures of all the way up (I still had the mood to take pictures, lol).
We walked through the bamboo forest. The path was quite difficult because it had just rained the night before and the ground was muddy.
Before leaving this point, the guide told us that after passing the sharp rocks, we would find a cave.
If we found the cave, it meant that we were almost there. We immediately had hope and tried to fight our way through.
When we walked up and saw the large rocks, we could only think that it was a cave, but it wasn't. 5555+
Until... we finally reached the real cave entrance. Along the way, we met many fellow travelers who were taking breaks.
As soon as we reached the mouth of the cave, everyone suddenly had a burst of energy. We all rushed to crawl into the cave and continue on.
We walked for another 200 meters or so, and then we reached our destination.
.
.
And finally, we made it… We were all exhausted from the walk.
My boyfriend and I spent exactly 5 hours walking and arrived 5 minutes before our 5 friends.
The first thing everyone did when they arrived at the top was... sleep, of course! We were all so tired.
What kind of crazy viewpoint makes you walk this much? You tricked me, stars! T____________T
But when we saw the view from the top, our tiredness gradually faded away and was replaced by awe.
We quickly arranged our accommodation as we liked, as the top was uneven
and the limited space made it impossible to pitch tents. Most of them spread out their sheets to sleep on the rocks.
Our group of 7 was very lucky to have a small cave to sleep in, which could accommodate 7 people.
But the ceiling was a bit low, so we had to be careful not to bump our heads. We put our things together and sat down to rest.
In the evening, we prepared the food we had brought (because it was very dark, there were no pictures 5555).
Both instant noodles and canned fish, whatever, we ate it all so that we could carry it lightly when we went down.
There must be an officer up here because they will connect the water pipes for everyone to use.
For drinking and cooking, washing face, brushing teeth, all in one pipe 5555555555
After dinner, I went to take pictures and sit and watch the stars with my girlfriend. It was really amazing.
The stars were quite beautiful tonight, and the view at night would be of the city and mountains alternating.
That night, after stargazing, we went back to sleep because we were very tired. We had to wake up early the next morning.
We planned to take pictures of the Milky Way at 4 am, but we had to give up because there was a lot of fog in the sky.
Around 6 am, the officers called the tourists to take them to climb the Bear Cliff.
The Bear Cliff is a point where you can see the view clearly without anything blocking it.
But it comes at the cost of having to climb quite a bit. It is recommended to let the officers take you there.
Because it is quite dangerous and difficult to climb.
The sea of mist is truly beautiful.
After descending from the Bear Cliff, we sat down to enjoy some coffee. Hehe.
Before going to take pictures on top, which is the highlight on top, it is a large rock called Kooba, which means elephant's back.
The top here will look like a white elephant mountain, but it will be a rock instead.
We climbed up to take pictures here for quite a long time. Because we have to be very careful.
There are officers to advise on climbing to ensure health and safety. Hehe
Besides looking like a white elephant mountain, there are also strange rocks
shaped like a sailboat at Mogokju. Moreover, the view from below when looking from here
also looks like Mount Bromo volcano (this is just my imagination 555555)
The sky was clear, and suddenly there was fog everywhere, so I got one cool picture.
After taking photos, we immediately packed up our belongings and walked back down.
Because the officers asked us to return before 9:30 am because there was no one left.
The descent is easier as there are not many stops.
My girlfriend, friends and I took about 3 hours to descend.
After coming down, we showered and traveled back to Bangkok, completely exhausted.
It was a trip that we were tricked into, but we were very impressed because the view was amazing.
See you again ... viewpoint ...

Essential travel information
* The trip costs 1200 baht per person (depending on food and drinks).
* Contact the Thung Phaeng Forest Protection Unit at 084-864-9357, 082-205-0079, or 094-015-4759.
It is recommended to call and book in advance with the unit before traveling as there is a limited number of people allowed.
* Pha Hin Goob can be visited all year round, but it is only open for climbing on Saturdays and returning on Sundays.
* Be prepared in case there are no porters available when you arrive, as most of them will not take on porter jobs if they have work cutting durian, as the income is similar.
* The cost of a porter is 1000 baht/person, and the cost of a guide is 1000 baht/person for a group of 5 tourists.
* Bring a sleeping bag as it gets cold up there. There is no need to bring a tent as there is nowhere to pitch it.
* Leech socks, powder, and mosquito repellent are highly recommended as there are many leeches and, more importantly, a lot of mosquitoes.
* Bring a raincoat and a waterproof bag in case it rains while you are climbing.
* Prepare drinking water for the way up and you can refill it at the rest stops.
* You should bring all your own equipment as there is nothing available to rent.
* Prepare your own food if you don't want to go hungry up there. 55555
* You can build a campfire up there, but be sure to extinguish it and be careful with the firewood.
* There is phone signal in some areas and for some networks.
* There are no toilets up there, so you will have to dig a hole. Hehe.
