Hello, I'm Phruks from https://www.facebook.com/wefoto/

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit Pang Sida.

There are a lot of butterflies now.

While butterfly watching spots in Pang Sida National Park can be found throughout the park, the most convenient and recommended locations are:

1. Tourist Information Center: Can be found from the central tent area and the tourist information center. Fast-flying butterflies can be found from the morning. In the rainy season, many species of Baron butterflies can be found feeding on ripe fruits under the mango trees. In April, tens of thousands of pupae of the Coon butterfly can be found around the tourist information center.

2. Pang Sida Waterfall: Starting from the car park, if you leave the water for a while, you will see butterflies coming down to eat minerals. If you walk along the waterfall, you will find a variety of butterflies, especially the swallowtail family and the cabbage white butterfly.

3. Lan Hin Dad Waterfall: Starting from kilometer 6, walk through the Thung Krathing field. Along the way, you will find butterflies of the genus Papilio, various types of wild bananas, and at the end of the trail, you will find a beautiful waterfall. There are also various species of orchids and interesting butterflies, such as the Red Helen, the Great Saturn, and the Coin-of-Ur, etc.

4. Huai Nam Yen: This is the location of the 5th Infantry Battalion. The air is cool and comfortable. If you walk along the stream, you will find many rare butterflies, such as the Zigzag Butterfly, the Felder's Blue, and the Cat's Eye.

5. Water seep at kilometer 26: Starting from the viewpoint at kilometer 25, if you walk for about one kilometer, you will find a water seep in the middle of the road at kilometer 26. This is a popular spot for butterflies to gather and drink, and the sides of the road are full of fast-flying butterflies.

We stopped to buy lunch before going up to the park.

The host came to pick me up.

And then we arrived at the park sign.

This is a map of butterfly watching spots.

You don't have to go far, just at the parking lot down to the waterfall, there are a lot of butterflies.

The butterflies here are quite tame and not easily startled by people.

This is where you can take photos of yourself with the butterflies.

Other areas are ponds, you can't get close to them.

For tourists who do not have a car, Polwil

You can also admire the beauty of the butterflies.

The butterflies I was able to photograph are about this size.

When visiting butterflies, it is recommended to wear clothes that blend in with nature and avoid bright colors. The best time to see butterflies is around 9:00 AM onwards, as most butterflies prefer sunshine and disappear when the sun goes down. For more information, please contact Pang Sida National Park at 0 3724 6100, 08 1862 1511 or the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Nakhon Nayok Office at 0 3731 2282, 0 3731 2284.
