Koh Mak in the rainy season, overflowing with happiness and moisture: July 8-10, 2016 Cococape Kohmak... If you talk about Koh Mak, this place is probably one of the top-rated accommodation reviews that many people will find. Why Cococape (in my opinion)

The body needs a wooden bridge, and they say that... the view is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the service is excellent, something like that. Mang Noi chose to come during the rainy season because...

..The price is not expensive. The view of the wooden bridge is excellent. It is peaceful and private. However, it must be admitted that other activities will not follow suit. Because you have to sit and wait for the rain, which is 80%. As for restaurants, you will probably have to rely on the resort instead.

In reality, I wasn't planning on writing a review because I didn't take many photos this time around due to the rain. Many of my friends have already written beautiful reviews, but I wanted to write one as a keepsake so that I could look back on it whenever I wanted, no matter where I was. Or maybe it could help a friend who's doing their research and needs to make a decision. So, I ended up writing this record. ^^

Note: This review may only summarize the main points and is not very detailed.

Things to know about Koh Mak trip

- Cococape Kohmak can only be booked through Agoda, with a minimum stay of 2 nights.

- The low season price is very cheap, but it does not include breakfast and activities here and there

- To secure your seat, you must book the boat in advance at least 2 days before your trip. This is because the boat used to travel to the island is a small speedboat with limited seating. (You can book through the resort where you are staying and pay at the resort, so you don't have to worry about it.) The round-trip boat fare is 450 baht per person.

You can check the ferry schedule at http://www.ilovekohmak.com/. The website also provides comprehensive information about Koh Mak.

- The travel time from Bangkok to the Krom Luang Chumphon Port is 5 hours, while Maeng Noi is located in Chonburi and takes 4 hours to reach.

- Taking a shortcut road according to Google Maps is faster than the main road (Sukhumvit) because on the way there are all traffic lights and very frequent. On the way back, following Google is the fastest.

- If you drive, you can park at the pier and unload your belongings first. There will be a motorbike to take your car to be parked, and you can ride back. I saw other people park their cars first and then walk to board the boat, carrying their belongings. It was very far, I felt sorry for them.

- When we boarded the ship, the Port Authority officers came down to greet us and share some knowledge. We ended up taking a group photo, which was really nice.

- The boat ride takes 50 minutes. Choose to sit in the front rows near the captain, as you'll get the least wet. Alternatively, bring a raincoat to avoid getting soaked (the boat is powerful and crashes through waves, splashing water into the boat like a theme park ride). You'll definitely get wet! I looked back at the people in the back of the boat, and they looked like they'd fallen into the water. 😂

- If you go during the rainy season, you need to be careful about the weather. If you plan to go to get the most out of it, you should choose to go during another season. If you want to relax and recharge, it's okay if it rains. It's cool, but the pictures won't be pretty. The sky isn't very nice.

- Koh Kham is located right in front of the resort. We hired a boat for 250 baht per person. The beach is very beautiful with white sand (but I didn't cross over to see it, I saw it in other people's reviews, hehe).

- Some resorts on the island have shops that are not open, so you have to go and see for yourself. I wanted to ride a motorbike around the island, which costs 300 baht per day. However, I decided that if I didn't want to explore nature during the rainy season, it would be better to just sit, lie down, and play at the resort. The view in front of me was more than enough.

Note: The food at the resort is delicious and affordable. You won't have to worry about going hungry, and you might even gain some weight.

Upon arrival at Koh Mak, the resort's car will be waiting to pick you up and take you to the lobby. Welcome Drink with roselle juice.
(Note: It rained the whole way, so I didn't get any pictures.) I took another picture when I was sitting in the lobby.

Mang Noi chose the Bluemoon Suite because she loved the room's decor style. Plus, it's right next to the pool and wooden bridge with a beautiful sea view.
Each room here is unique, with different styles. Choose the one you like! You can see pictures on the resort's website.

The room will have a door connecting to the Coco Suit room.

As I walked down the stairs, I came across the swimming pool.

Still here, enjoying the cool evening atmosphere.

The food was delicious and to everyone's taste. I must give a big thumbs up to the chef. I highly recommend the stir-fried prawns with red curry paste, the seafood hot pot, the tom yum soup, and the glass noodle salad. They were all absolutely amazing.

Trip summary: Impressed with the atmosphere, service and taste of the food. You won't be disappointed if you come here.
That's all for my review. Thank you.
