Hello, today we will present beachfront accommodation with D VAREE JOMTIEN BEACH PATTAYA

Located right on the beach, the hotel is situated between Jomtien Soi 13 and 14. Enter from Soi 14 and exit through Soi 13.

I must preface this photo set by saying that the photos are not of the best quality. This is because I was attending a seminar with my workplace, and there were many people from both our group and other tourist groups. The photos are not very clear, but I still wanted to present them as an option for anyone looking for affordable accommodation near Pattaya with convenient access.

As far as I know, Varu Beach Resort used to be Furama Jomtien Beach. It's a large hotel, judging by the height of the residential buildings and the number of tourist buses that come and go. On Fridays and Saturdays, it's quite crowded, mostly with Asian tourists from China, Korea, and Japan (based on what I overheard tourists talking about. Do I understand what they're saying? Oh, no!!!). The parking lot is divided into two sections: one for small cars and one for buses. If there's no more space, you can park on the side of Soi 13 (the exit alley).

The front area has a moderate number of chairs. The check-in counter and guest lounge are quite spacious and can accommodate a decent number of tourists. However, if two buses arrive at the same time, it can get quite crowded. One corner of the lounge is occupied by a small coffee shop.

The welcome drink is punch.

The hotel has a total of 38 floors. The elevators are divided into 2 zones: high and low. (I apologize for the negative connotation.) The top floor, 38, is a bar. You can take the elevator from either zone. There are 2 swimming pools, one on the 1st floor and one on the 5th floor. (You have to take the elevator from the low zone, but you can actually walk. I mean, you can walk from the 1st to the 5th floor or from the 5th to the 1st floor.)

Let me show you the room first. We are staying on the 24th floor. All rooms have balconies facing the sea, offering stunning sea views. The rooms use a key card system. The electrical system inside the room is controlled by a switch next to the bed. I confess that I pressed it randomly, thinking that some buttons were good and some were bad (or maybe they were originally good, but I broke them by pressing them).

From the room door, the bathroom is on the right, the wardrobe and minibar are on the left, and further in is the bed and balcony.

Be careful with the mini-bar. Free bottled water is not refrigerated and is hidden on the same shelf as the tea and coffee. The water in the refrigerator costs money, so don't accidentally open and drink it.

The compact bathroom features a bathtub but no bath foam. One wall is separated by clear glass, so those who prefer a transparent shower can do so. For those who are not comfortable with this, there is a roller blind available.

Further inside is the bedroom area. At the foot of the bed is a TV and a set of chairs and a table. On one side of the bed is a small sofa. There are a lot of mirrors here, so you can see yourself from the front, the back, and all at the same time.

As I mentioned, all rooms have balconies facing the sea. The view is as shown in the pictures. During my visit, it was drizzling constantly, so the seawater was a bit dull and gloomy.

The other side is a city view.

Let's go see the swimming pool.

The pool on the 5th floor is not very crowded. The depth is about 1.50 meters.

The lower pool is more crowded than the upper pool. There are a moderate number of beach chairs arranged around the pool. The depth is 1.10 meters (suitable for walking in the water).

Besides the swimming pool, there is also a fitness room here. I only took pictures from the outside, I didn't go in to explore.

There is a children's play area in front of the breakfast room.

The restaurant is divided into two zones, both accessible by foot. I only took pictures of the zone with the children's play area. The other zone has round tables suitable for large groups, likely catering to tour groups. I managed to take some pictures of the food, which was quite abundant and diverse, including Thai, Chinese, Western, and a small selection of Japanese cuisine. I only took a few pictures due to the large number of guests present.

The top floor (38th floor) is a small bar. I went up to check it out, but it wasn't too late yet. The music was soft and there were no people, so I decided to come down.

The front of the hotel, next to the beach, is a small bar at night. It's a pity that it rained every day.

Let's take a look at the beach in front of the hotel. All the accommodations in this area are separated from the beach by a road. As I mentioned before, it rained every day during our visit, the sky was cloudy, and the sea was gloomy. It looked okay, but not really inviting for swimming.
