Back again with hitchhiking to travel This time, there are 3 members left.
This trip, I couldn't think of anything else, didn't know where to go. I just wanted to go out and camp, relax and enjoy myself.
Travel: August 5-7, 2016
Day 1
Due to the severe traffic congestion on Friday, the trip was delayed from 8 pm to 10 pm.
This journey was incredibly difficult. It rained, there was traffic, and we left late. There were no cars, and we waited at the gas station for hours and hours, but no car came.
The kind man drove me to Mueang District, Saraburi, arriving at a PTT gas station around 1:30 AM after a journey of more than an hour.
It's really hard to hail a taxi, there are no cars at all.
We decided to walk amidst the darkness and the arena of the riders that filled the streets.
We waited a long time at the large gas station until after 4:00 AM before a car took us to Bueng Sam Phan District, Phetchabun Province.
Day 2
Upon reaching Bueng Sam Phan, I decided to take a public bus to Lom Sak, Phetchabun.
Take two more rides to reach the old pit near the top of the hill. Then, wait for a ride from a local villager who is going down the hill to get to Phu Thap Boek.
It didn't take long to get a car to take us up to Thung Taek.
Around noon, the sky was clear with a light mist, typical of the rainy season.
Searched for accommodation with a beautiful view to wait for the sea of fog in the morning, until I found one that I liked.
Secured accommodation, pitched tents, attended to personal needs, and enjoyed a long sleep while waiting for the sun to set over the horizon.
I think there will be fog for us to see tomorrow because the wind is very calm.
Waking up to a breathtaking sight, a sea of mist enveloping the tents, an experience unlike any other.
The view of the pagoda is obscured by fog, as if we were standing on clouds.
We wasted no time in capturing the beauty of this moment.
People took pictures to capture the beauty of the moment.
The sea of fog is still thick at 11 am.
After that, we hitchhiked down from Phu Thap Boek. We hitched a ride about four times before reaching Bangkok.
Hitchhiking is another charm, meaning we can't set an exact time. There might be some unexpected changes, but it's a valuable experience.
To encounter a sea of mist like this, it takes a bit of luck. And I think my luck might just enjoy bringing me to such sights on every mountain.
