This is a spontaneous trip. My boyfriend called and said he booked a place for us to stay on Friday, and we're bringing our dog. So, here we go! Let's break it down point by point, without too much description. All opinions are based on my personal preferences.
Even if you don't like dogs, we can still get along.
This trip, the camera used a 50mm lens with a GoPro.
1. The first thing that impressed me was the three companions, Yoshi, Niña, and Sumo, Labrador dogs. As soon as I opened the door, they ran up and jumped on me. I couldn't wait to hug them back, forgetting about the little dog that was barking in the car.
2. The atmosphere here is very pleasant, with lush greenery that is perfect for the Green Season. Each house is surrounded by trees, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility.
3. The resort is located along the Lam Takhong River, where the water level is currently high and pleasantly cool, making it ideal for relaxing by the riverside.
4. Due to the quietness during the Friday period, there were only 4 houses occupied, resulting in a peaceful atmosphere suitable for reading books and working (I brought work with me, but ended up not doing it and playing with the dog instead). It was very relaxing.
5. The owner of the accommodation is a dog lover. They played with my dog, as well as other guests' dogs.
6. The resort offers ample barbecue grills for guest use, eliminating the need for competition among different accommodation zones.
Based on my observations, here are some suggestions:
1. If you prefer the convenience of 4-5 star accommodation, this is not the place for you. This family-oriented establishment does not offer air conditioning, televisions, or refrigerators, except in the 10-person houses.
2. There are no snacks available for purchase within the accommodation. If you would like to purchase snacks, please do so before entering the house, as the nearest 7-Eleven is located several kilometers away.
3. Food is available, but due to the emphasis on family-style service, patience is required. For example, when I went, I wrote down the menu at 3 pm and told the staff that I would be eating at 6 pm. When I arrived, I sat down for a while and the food came out immediately. The kitchen closes at 10 pm.
4. Due to the earthen construction of the house, I encountered ants during my stay. However, they did not bite me, which I considered acceptable. Interestingly, the ants disappeared at night, possibly due to the cooler temperature.
4. Please keep the bedroom door closed to prevent mosquitoes from entering. A mosquito net is provided in the bedroom.
Please note that service may be slightly slower during peak periods due to the limited staff (only two chefs) as it is a family-run business.
The price of a large riverside earthen house is 1000 baht per night, while a small one is 800 baht per night. A house for 10 people costs 4000 baht per night, including breakfast. The dog fee is 150 baht per dog. The resident dog is Yoshi. If you bring a large dog, be careful because Yoshi will try to dominate it.
The garlic fried group is delicious. You must eat it. The accommodation has rules and regulations for bringing dogs into the room. Please follow the rules.
The entrance to the accommodation, the dining area, and the lobby are all located in the same place.
The room is simple and clean. Please follow the accommodation rules.
The bedroom has a canal view, but there are too many trees on the opposite side, which is a horse farm.
I spent all my time there, sleeping, working, and playing with all the dogs. This is where I am.
Store your belongings in Yoshi's room. He's been asking to play catch since noon. He even gets to choose who throws the ball to him. I'm the only one here, the other guests haven't arrived yet.
Yoshi constantly invites me to play, making it difficult to find time to take photos.
This house can accommodate up to 10 people, making it ideal for a barbecue party.
A small earthen house, 800 each.
Large earthen house by the canal 1000 baht
A breezy balcony overlooking the water, perfect for enjoying the cool breeze.
Watching Yoshi, Nihna, and Sumo play in the water.
The central pavilion offers a barbecue grill and is conveniently located near the water play area.
The pavilion features cozy seating areas for relaxing conversations with friends.
The grill has many points indeed.
Let's play! Let's play! Pssst, see my eyes? How can you resist playing? Yoshi loves to play ball, especially throwing it far away.
Let's play, let's play. This is Sumo. He likes to throw sticks into the canal and barks all the time.
The three of them are cuddling and playing together. Ni Na seems to only play with people she's close to, but the others are playing with everyone.
Every dog here loves to play in the water and will always invite guests to join them.
One day of fun playing with 3 dogs, including ours, each one was full of energy.
A peaceful morning after a night of listening to the soothing sound of rain.
Playing with Yoshi one last time before leaving.
Farewell to another impressive little accommodation. Even if you're not a dog lover, you can still stay here. The dogs know which people they can play with and which ones they don't like. They're all adorable. Come and visit! It's just in Pak Chong. Search for it on Google Maps and follow the directions.
