Have you ever felt impressed by a place when you first visited it? And then you felt like you wanted to come back again?
The place we are talking about is Veravian Resort in Wang Nam Khieo-Khao Yai.
Many people may know it well. Just by mentioning the name Wang Nam Khieo, the name of Veravian will pop up in the top ranks, right? ^^
From the first time we visited this resort 3 years ago and stayed for 1 night, we still felt that it was not enough.
Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Veravian again for the second time and stayed for 2 full nights. We also visited nearby tourist attractions.
And this time, it was a visit to Veravian during one of the most beautiful periods.
We want you to come and see it, to reaffirm with us, with one more voice or many voices,
with the feeling that says "Veravian, once is never enough".
Our journey to Wela Wela this time still uses the same route as before, which is Highway 304 through Prachin Buri and Pak Thong Chai. There is some road construction going on at the moment, which we expect will take quite some time due to the large-scale road expansion project. However, since we are familiar with this side of the route, we are used to it.
On the way back, we took the Khao Yai route through Nakhon Nayok, which is another convenient option with plenty of tourist attractions to stop at along the way. It took us about 2.5-3 hours to drive from Bang Na to Wang Nam Khieo.
We have finally arrived at our familiar resort, Veravian Resort (Wela Wela Resort).
Driving into the winding road, the lush greenery and fresh air are a welcome sight.
Upon arrival, we noticed the cafe at the front of the winding road was closed. We inquired with the staff and learned that the cafe had relocated to the front area. Our initial concern was whether outside customers would have easy access.
However, upon entering the front area, our perspective shifted.
The intention of Winding Road is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, regardless of whether they are staying at the resort.
This location is ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in the scenic views. Stay tuned for more photos and angles to come.
The Coffee Corner of Wian Wian
The coffee corner at Wian Wian offers a wide variety of menu items. We tried the Mocha Shot, which was delicious. They also have a selection of refreshing cold drinks, including iced milk tea and 100% grape juice. The grape juice is best served chilled.
Upon checking in at the front desk, guests receive a welcome drink to cool down before heading to their rooms.
After a long drive, we were eager to relax and take a nap.
The first night, we stayed in this room, the Moment Suite, which we had stayed in 3 years ago when it was first built. At that time, the new room smell was still there. But today, time has passed, and the smell of camphor has replaced it. I've always loved the smell of camphor, so when I entered the room and found it here, I have to say... I felt at ease. ^^
Personally, I like this type of room because it has a corner for working. As a hard worker,
Wherever I go, I always bring my notebook to work. 555
Relaxing in my favorite corner, a green space behind the room, where I was joined by the resort's four-legged friend, a dog.
Friendly to the guests, I don't know its name, we call the fluffy one "Tissue" because its fur is so thick and soft. 555
Capturing a moment in time, a single click to preserve a memory. Perhaps one day, our paths will cross again, and we shall meet once more. Until then, farewell, Mahma.
Back to the front after a nap. This evening, we have an appointment to watch bulls at the Khao Sung checkpoint near the resort. It's only 2.8 kilometers from the front of the resort to the bull-watching entrance.
For now, let's take a walk around the communal pool and enjoy the cool breeze.
Nestled amidst lush greenery, Velavan Resort offers a 360-degree panorama of verdant landscapes. During our visit during the rainy season, the resort was at its peak, adorned in vibrant hues of green. The refreshing weather, with intermittent showers and gentle sunshine, created a delightful ambiance. The evenings and nights were particularly pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. Our stay at Velavan Resort was truly an unforgettable experience, leaving us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
The Hunt Continues: A Thrilling Journey Through the Hills
Our journey in pursuit of the elusive banteng continues. From the resort, we head left for 2.8 kilometers, where we encounter the entrance to Baan Khlong Sai.
Ascending the mountain for another 5.9 kilometers, we reach a breathtaking viewpoint known as "จุดสกัดเขาสูง" (High Mountain Checkpoint).
Important Note: Due to the challenging terrain, passenger cars are strongly discouraged from attempting this climb. The rugged road conditions are best suited for pickup trucks or motorcycles.
The area where you can observe the banteng is fenced with electric fences for safety. The best time to observe the banteng is in the evening when they come out to feed.
There are officers to ensure safety, as well as binoculars provided for free observation.
Our camera is not powerful enough to zoom in, but we still managed to capture one banteng. This shows that they really do come out to graze, don't they? 555
On the way back, we encountered several more bantengs, suggesting that we had come across an entire family.
This is a must-see attraction for visitors to Wang Nam Khieo and the Wela Wian Resort. Don't miss the opportunity to see the bantengs.
Now, we're back at the Wela Wian Resort, enjoying a meal at The Clockwise Restaurant.
I must say that I am a big fan of Thai food, especially mushrooms. When I saw mushrooms on the menu at เวลาเวียน, I was thrilled.
The dishes included fresh king oyster mushrooms from Wang Nam Khiao stir-fried with shrimp, mushrooms braised in soy sauce, shiitake mushroom salad with grilled salmon, and tom yum soup with Japanese pine mushrooms.
All of the mushroom dishes were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The mushrooms were fresh and flavorful.
Not only do we love the mushrooms, but another dish we adore at Wela Welu Resort is the
Fried Chicken Wings. They are fried to a perfect crisp, not greasy at all, and don't even need dipping sauce. They're just that good!
Everyone at our table agreed that they were absolutely delicious. (As I'm writing this review, I'm getting hungry again! Haha)
But wait, there's more! The Wela Welu chili paste isn't too spicy, just right, and comes with a whole mackerel. The best part? They even de-bone the fish for you!
One of the highlights of Vela Vela is its fresh vegetables, which are grown on-site using a soilless method. The vegetables are beautifully grown and are also available for purchase as souvenirs for customers to take home.
The Clockwise restaurant at Vela Vela is open to non-guests as well.
Both lunch and dinner are served, and the sunset view from Vela Vela is truly stunning.
The beauty of time's cycle, witnessed once again with my own eyes.
The stunning beauty of the time loop, which we will not let anyone see alone. ^^
Whether it's evening, morning, or any other time of the loop, it's green from every angle.
In the late morning, a buffet breakfast is served at The Clockwise Restaurant.
The food is plentiful and diverse, as it is constantly replenished.
For us, the mushroom porridge served during the ceremony, along with the ABF, satisfies both our stomachs and our eyes with the surrounding views.
With the highest angle of Timeless Moment, there are various props to play with and take beautiful photos. Don't miss it!
This is another romantic spot in the morning and evening. I remember the first time I came here, I jumped alone at this angle.
Three years later, I brought my friends to jump at this angle again. Haha!
RinSa YoyoLive VS Carrying a camera to travel
Our second night at Velaa, we changed our room to Veravian pool villa.
The first time I came here, I only took pictures of this type of room and told myself that I really wanted to stay in this room.
This time, I am most satisfied with the private Pool Villa at Velaa.
The back of the room is rarely seen from this angle. It is surrounded by a lush green forest.
You can open the window and sit back and relax.
But the most relaxing thing about Veravian pool villa is the private pool.
The green, the white, oh, the ultimate pleasure right now. Do you feel the same? ^^
With a level of satisfaction that is off the charts, we don't stop here. We continue to emphasize the increasing level of satisfaction at this time-traveling place.
Along with the thin, faint mist that floats past our eyes, we can't take our eyes off it.
With the beautiful evening light at the front, it's the ultimate bliss. We can say for sure that this is the rainy season that we have visited for the second time this year.
The rain doesn't fall all the time, just a light drizzle that brings moisture to each other.
With the good weather and the feeling of comfort, we are happy to be back here again. And we can say with confidence that "one visit to Welaa is never enough."
When you see the view in front of you, you know it's right. Let's take ourselves to this very spot... Time flies.
