Hello everyone, this is our first post. We are new to reviewing, so please forgive us for any mistakes.
At the beginning of August, we had the opportunity to visit Khao Kho - Phu Thap Boek in Phetchabun Province. Our first destination was Khao Kho.

The journey from Bangkok takes approximately 5 and a half hours to reach the destination.
As we drove leisurely towards Khao Kho, the air grew refreshingly cool, prompting us to roll down the windows and savor the breeze.
The ascent to Khao Kho is not considered difficult, the incline is not too steep, but there are quite a few curves.
During our visit, it was a weekday with few tourists.
We planned to stay at a resort, Blue Sky Resort (we booked it online two weeks before our stay). We checked in and settled into our accommodation.
The staff welcomed us with strawberries, which were incredibly refreshing.
Upon entering the resort, you are immediately transported to a foreign atmosphere. The ambiance is truly exceptional.
Let's take a look inside the room.
After checking into our room and taking in the resort's ambiance, we started to feel hungry and decided to look for something to eat.
Following the inquiry with the resort staff, we learned of a renownedขนมจีนrestaurant. Without hesitation, we set out to explore it.
Sarach Kanom Jeen Lom Kao, the original seven-colored fresh rice noodle shop, is located in the PTT gas station at Camp Son, not far from the resort where we stayed. We were immediately drawn to the vibrant colors of the seven fresh rice noodles, and the variety of curries available to choose from.
After finishing our delicious "khanom jeen" as the evening approached, we returned to the resort to relax and recharge for the stunning sunrise the next morning.

Around 6:00 AM, we woke up to the morning mist and the refreshing atmosphere. We decided to take pictures along the way on Khao Kho.
The scenic view caught my eye, revealing the Pha Sorn Kaew temple shrouded in mist. As the mist rolled in, I decided to capture the movement using my phone's Time Lapse mode.
After enjoying the scenery for a while, we decided to search for tourist attractions on Khao Kho. We found a review of a new viewpoint, the Khao Kho Windmill. We opened Google Maps to navigate to the Khao Kho Windmill and followed the directions. We drove for a while.
We are almost there. We can already see the wind turbines.
After driving for a while, we came across a road that looked like it was still under construction. We asked some locals who were passing by, and they told us that it wouldn't be long until we reached our destination. But fate had other plans for us... (insert emoji or description of the unexpected event that occurred).
Our car was unable to proceed due to the road conditions shown in the picture above. We decided to turn back, slightly disappointed that we came so close but couldn't reach our destination. We will head back to the resort instead.
(It turned out later that there was another way to get to the Khao Kho wind turbine, with a more convenient road. 😭😭😭 Google Maps, you led me astray! Oh well, next time I won't miss it again. Hehe.)
Let's continue capturing the scenery along the way.
It was then time to return to the accommodation and check out.
The next destination is Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, which is not far from the accommodation. Wat Pha Sorn Kaew is a religious site built amidst nature. The surrounding mountains are complex, with a beautiful and majestic pagoda on the top of the mountain. I can tell you that it is a very beautiful temple.
After paying respects to the relics of the Lord Buddha, we continued our journey. Our next destination was...
The road to Phu Thap Boek is known for its numerous curves, requiring utmost caution. Throughout the ascent, oncoming traffic, primarily local vehicles transporting cabbages, is frequent and tends to travel at high speeds. Therefore, extreme vigilance is necessary.
Upon reaching the entrance of Phu Thap Boek, the atmosphere felt like heaven. Fluffy clouds and mist moved beautifully. We arrived around 3 pm, and the mist was still thick. We were very excited (because we had never seen anything like this before 55555).
We stayed at the fragrant jasmine farm, which is a small and compact room. The atmosphere is great, as most accommodations on Phu Thap Boek offer stunning views. We started to unpack our belongings in the room.
Let's take a look at our rooms.
It's time to eat. The accommodation offers à la carte and barbecue options. In this weather, barbecue is a must. We ordered one set and sat down to eat amidst the mist, grilling the pork, some cooked and some not. 5555555
It's time to rest and recharge, wake up to see the morning mist. ZZZZZZZ++++++++++
The most beautiful moment was at 6:00 AM when we woke up to the stunning sea of mist. We didn't even need to go to a viewpoint; the view from our resort was breathtaking. We were so captivated by the atmosphere that we didn't want to go anywhere else.
Let's take a panoramic view.
The mist moved quickly, and we continued to record video, as before, to observe the movement of the mist as it drifted towards us.
Around 8:40 AM, the fog began to dissipate, no longer forming dense clusters as before. However, it still presented a different kind of beauty.
Before leaving, don't forget to pick up the cabbage. <However, we were unable to collect any as the villagers had already harvested and sold all the produce.>
It's time to return to Bangkok. (Can I stay longer?) I promise to come back and admire the most beautiful sea of fog again. (There are still many tourist attractions in Khao Kho and Phu Thap Boek that I haven't visited. I will definitely not miss them next time.)
