Tuesday morning, July 19th... woke up and the first thing I thought about was food. An army marches on its stomach, after all.

First stop of the day >> Ong Tong Boat Noodles << Sirimangkalajar Soi 11... No need to say more, I'm hungry! Let's go!!!

Full and satisfied... feeling good, hehe

Then I picked up my Google Maps and set the GPS to "Mae Kampong Village". Let's go!

After a leisurely drive of about an hour, I arrived at Mae Kampong Village. The weather was pleasantly cool. Let's check in to our accommodation for tonight first. We've arrived at "Samran Chon Homestay".

Finding parking was a challenge due to the steep incline and the Asalha Puja holiday, which resulted in heavy traffic and crowds. After checking in and storing our luggage, we took a quick walk around the property to take some photos and recharge our phones and ourselves. We then headed out for a leisurely stroll to soak in the atmosphere.

Room details:

  • Single room: 700 baht per person, including two meals (dinner and breakfast) for 2-3 guests.
  • Group room: 600 baht per person, including two meals (dinner and breakfast) for groups of 6 or more.

The homestay consists of 3 interconnected houses with a total of 10 rooms, giving the impression of being in a witch's house from a movie. 555++ You can walk through all of them, but be careful when going up and down the stairs, as one wrong step could change your life. 555+++ At the back, there is a small stream with crystal-clear, refreshingly cold water. It's so relaxing!

Our shelter for the night of November 411

My poor friend, there are so many obstacles to travel. Yesterday I had diarrhea... today I'm vomiting 555++ I'll rest and recharge for a bit, then I'll continue.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

The power chart is complete... let's go down and have a light snack, my lord.

Walking around in circles, I ended up at this shop, "Ted du Coffee." A coffee shop in the middle of the forest. Sipping on some light green tea, enjoying the atmosphere.

Evening:

As dusk settles in, it's time to head back to our accommodation for dinner. Feeling famished, I unfortunately didn't capture any photos of our evening meal.

Drifting off to sleep with the sound of flowing water and the gentle pitter-patter of rain. Sweet dreams and good night!

Wednesday, July 20th:

Morning has arrived, and it's time to prepare for our return to Bangkok. A tinge of sadness washes over us as we must resume our daily routines to earn funds for our next adventure.

While waiting for breakfast, we encountered a cat napping peacefully. Despite our attempts to capture a photo, it remained slumbering. However, as soon as the food arrived, its eyes shot open with a piercing gaze.

Bidding farewell to the hefty feline as we depart for Bangkok. Goodbye, and a kiss!
