Hello everyone, in this review, I will take you to visit a lovely resort with a relaxing atmosphere, quiet, and by the sea in Pranburi.

At @La a na tu Bed & Bakery Resort

Before starting your trip, let's take a look at the map to see where the resort is located in Pranburi.

The resort is easy to find. Just search for it on GPS and it will guide you to the resort easily.

This trip, we started our journey from home early in the morning so that we would have time to visit Khao Wang. Normally, when we pass Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan, we don't have the opportunity to stop by. But this time, we had the chance to visit Khao Wang, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. If you haven't been to Khao Wang yet, I highly recommend it.

Visiting Khao Wang: Hiking or Tram Ride?

There are two ways to reach the summit of Khao Wang: by foot or by tram. The tram fare is 70 baht per adult, which includes both the ascent and descent, as well as the 20 baht entrance fee to the park. In my opinion, the price is reasonable considering the convenience it offers.

The atmosphere on the tram

We arrived at Khao Wang around 9 am, so there weren't many tourists yet. It was a fun and relaxing trip.

Khao Wang: A Historical Landmark in Phetchaburi

Khao Wang, also known as Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park, is a prominent tourist destination and historical landmark in Phetchaburi province. This ancient site boasts significant historical importance for the region. As visitors enter Phetchaburi, whether en route to the popular beach town of Hua Hin or further south, they are greeted by the sight of a white palace and pagoda perched atop a 92-meter-high hill.

Originally known as Khao Samon or Khao Khiri, the hill was chosen by King Mongkut (Rama IV) as the site for a new royal palace. He commissioned the construction of the palace, which was completed in 1860 under the supervision of Chao Phraya Phetchanisiri, the governor of Phetchaburi. King Mongkut bestowed the name Phra Nakhon Khiri upon the palace, but locals affectionately refer to it as Khao Wang, meaning "Palace Hill."

Upon arrival, it is recommended to visit the information center before exploring the palace grounds.

Phra Nakhon Khiri features numerous royal residences, temples, and other structures, primarily showcasing a blend of Western Neoclassical and Chinese architectural styles. These buildings are situated atop three prominent hills.

The Phra Thinang Phetchburiphon Phirom Throne Hall

The largest and most important building in the Phra Nakhon Khiri Palace was once the private residence of King Rama IV. Today, it is a museum that displays antique furniture, artifacts, and personal belongings of King Rama IV and King Rama V. These include a china cabinet, a royal bedchamber, a bathroom, and a dining room, all of which showcase the exquisite craftsmanship of Chinese artisans who created them in the European style of the time. Photography is not allowed inside the museum.

The Royal Throne Hall of Justice

The atmosphere and walkway on Khao Wang are filled with large, shady trees, which is very pleasant. I especially like the brick pavement on the walkway.

Red Prang and Wat Phra Kaew Noi

Just a small glimpse of the atmosphere. I will come back to do a more detailed review because I actually took a lot of pictures. And for those who are planning to visit Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin, I recommend that you try to visit Khao Wang at least once.

Leaving Khao Wang, we drove straight to Pranburi. Just after the Pranburi intersection, turn onto the road leading to Pak Nam Pran. You will find a small but delicious noodle shop called "Saen Aroi". Their crab and pork wonton noodles are highly recommended. If you're visiting Pranburi, don't miss this hidden gem!

We ordered three bowls: cold yentafo noodles, dry noodles, and dry tom yum noodles. All three were delicious!

Before checking in at La a na tu, we stopped by a famous cafe by the sea in Pranburi for some refreshing drinks. The cafe, called Cha Bar, boasts a laid-back atmosphere right by the beach. The open-air wooden house design allows for a cool sea breeze, while the rustic wooden furniture and floor seating create a relaxed ambiance perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and chilling out.

This is a popular spot for people to sit, but since we went on a Friday, we didn't have to compete for a seat with anyone.

This glass of ours is iced green tea.

A giant dried squid is displayed next to the shop.

Another seat next to the shop

After finishing our coffee, we drove along the Pranburi beachfront, following the road and using GPS. In no time, we arrived at La a na tu, our accommodation for the night. We parked our car here, and the resort staff kindly helped us with our luggage and drove us to the lobby in a golf cart.

We arrived at the resort by golf cart and parked under this bridge.

The walkway to the lobby exudes a chic atmosphere, befitting its status as a top-rated resort in Thailand. It's truly a resort worth staying at.

As the golf cart pulled up, staff members were waiting to greet us with refreshing cold towels to wipe our faces and hands.

Stepping inside and looking back,

The rice field in the middle of the resort is a rice field that anyone who sees it can't help but take a picture of this beautiful rice field.

Come check in with us.

The lobby's atmosphere is very close to nature, living up to the resort's name, which means "art and nature." And then we met the adorable buffalo, which is La a na tu's mascot.

La A Natu Bed & Bakery: A Tranquil Oasis by the Sea

La A Natu Bed & Bakery is a stylish beachfront resort nestled on the pristine shores of Pranburi-Sam Roi Yot. Boasting a private beach frontage and a backdrop of verdant rice paddies interspersed with seasonal crops, the resort offers a serene and idyllic escape.

The lobby's inviting sofas, crafted from burlap sacks, evoke a rustic barn-like ambiance, beckoning guests to relax and unwind.

This corner is likely a conference room.

As the room was not yet cleaned, we decided to relax and enjoy afternoon tea in the dining room.

Upon entering the dining room, guests are greeted by a beautifully decorated space that seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings. The open-air design allows for a refreshing sea breeze to permeate the room.

A long table suitable for groups or individuals. Very comfortable to sit at.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant

This bridge, located next to the restaurant, is made of bamboo. It reminds me of my grandfather's house in Nan, where villagers used to build woven bamboo bridges to cross the Nan River during the rainy season.

A view from the bridge and a tropical cottage room, located on the edge of a rice field that is currently in the golden yellow stage of ripening.

After taking in the stunning views, the staff arrived with a delightful tea set, a highlight of any stay at La Ennatu. Sipping tea and enjoying sweet treats in the afternoon was pure bliss.

After enjoying a delicious cake and tea, I decided to explore the resort a little more before checking into my room.

A bright red mailbox stood out prominently.

Out of gas, stopping to fill up for a bit.

After crossing the wooden bridge, I walked past the restaurant and was greeted by the breathtaking view of the sea. Wow, the ocean!

A serene swimming pool on the rooftop, offering views of rice fields and the sea while you swim.

It's time to check into our room for the night. This is our loft suite for tonight.

Also known as the Beachfront Suite, or the first Loft Suite. This Loft Suite is a luxurious and spacious two-story room.

Honestly, this corner is perfect for spreading out a mat and having a fun chat with friends.

What impressed us most about the Loft Suite was the large Jacuzzi. Bathing while enjoying the sea view was an unforgettable experience.

The living room downstairs boasts comfortable sofas and a unique feature: a swing hanging in the middle of the room, allowing you to watch TV while gently swaying. This quirky touch adds a touch of whimsy to the space.

The upper floor rooms are connected by a walkway, which also serves as an additional entrance.

This door leads directly to the outside, providing access to the swimming pool.

As mentioned, the room is very spacious. This area is for storing luggage and placing various items.

The downstairs bathroom has a rain shower in a round room, creating a unique atmosphere.

Explore the upper floor with a high ceiling in the living room, creating a sense of spaciousness and comfort.

Our bedroom tonight is a bedroom that doesn't need a bed, but the mattress is very thick and soft. Sleeping feels warm and more comfortable than sleeping on a regular bed. There is also a mosquito net to sleep in. So tonight we got to sleep in a mosquito net, it feels really warm.

Even a midday nap can be accompanied by stunning ocean views. The beachfront at Pranburi is incredibly peaceful and serene.

This resort is truly ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Stepping out onto the balcony, we were greeted by a wooden deck that evoked memories of traditional Thai homes with their wooden verandas, perfect for sitting and enjoying snacks.

At La Ennatu, we spent the afternoon soaking in the breathtaking ocean views. It was truly a delightful experience.

The bathroom on the upper floor, which comes with a sink, also offers a sea view. You can see the white sandy beach nearby.

Bathroom equipment

Before heading out for a bite to eat, we sat down to enjoy the shade and the gentle breeze by the beach. The beach at La a na tu is special because the waves are calm, the crowds are sparse, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and find inner peace.

A bed in front of the room and a shower corner for those who play in the sea can wash themselves here.

It's time to go out and find something to eat around Pak Nam Pranburi.

But for those who don't want to travel to eat at any resort, there are delicious food services available as well.

Before heading to a restaurant, we stopped by the beach in Pranburi. There, we found food stalls selling various dishes at affordable prices.

There are many snacks for sale.

We had planned to visit several restaurants, but most of them were located in Pran Buri district. So, we decided to drive around Pak Nam Pran to see if there were any restaurants that looked appealing. We came across this rice porridge restaurant.

What caught our eye was the display of delicious-looking rice porridge dishes.

The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, so we decided to stop by instead of going further. And we were not disappointed.

You can order whatever you like. If you don't like rice porridge, you can order other dishes as well.

However, the restaurant specializes in rice porridge, which is delicious and affordable.

The smooth rice porridge is served in a small bowl. Even the rice porridge itself is delicious.

Stewed bitter melon with pork bones. It is stewed in a bowl in a steamer.

Spicy Chinese sausage salad

Many delicious dishes. If you go to Pranburi, try it. It's delicious and affordable.

Actually, I intended to return to the resort before dusk, but it turned out that when I arrived at the resort, it was already dark. So I got some dark pictures.

The atmosphere of the walkway to the lobby at night is luxurious in another way.

The stylish walkway lights of the resort are truly a testament to art and nature.

Before entering the room, I took another picture of the beautiful resort at night. The beach has a great atmosphere.

You can sit and relax, lie down and watch the stars on the beach. I saw someone using a flashlight to look at the fish.

Inside the room at night, the bedside lamp is my favorite.

The buffalo calf climbed up to the bedroom and slept soundly on the bed, with the blanket neatly tucked in.

I have learned that La A Na Tu Resort also offers turndown service in the evenings.

Tonight, I slept soundly with my water buffalo, watching TV in comfort. The soft, warm bed and mosquito net ensured a peaceful night's sleep, free from worries about insects or disturbances.

The sun has risen. Since we didn't see the sunset yesterday, we set the alarm clock for 5:30 this morning to watch the sunrise with the buffalo.

The morning atmosphere at La a na tu is incredibly beautiful. The sea is calm, with gentle waves. There are no crowds, no jet skis, and no stalls selling goods on the beach. Personally, I love it. It's perfect for a quiet getaway to relax your mind, body, and soul. It's also ideal for a honeymoon, as it offers a high level of privacy.

The sun casts its light, creating a beautiful atmosphere.

Gazing at the azure sky, my heart feels light and bright.

No matter who I'm with, happiness fills me under the cerulean expanse.

Enjoy every moment at La a na tu

Sitting by the sea until the sky was bright, I walked down to the beach. Looking left and right, I looked back at the resort.

What a peaceful moment. The sea was calm, there were few people, and it's rare to find an atmosphere like this.

The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is good, and the sea is clear.

After sitting on the beach for a while, I started to feel hungry. Let's go find some breakfast. I came back to the same spot, I really like this corner.

Breakfast will be served with a menu to order from. You can order as much as you like, there is no limit.

As for the salad and fruit, there will be a bar where you can help yourself. Doesn't it look delicious?

The buffalo recommends trying every menu item.

Fried egg with rice is also available.

Fried egg with rice and pork porridge go well together.

Full and satisfied, we returned to our room and took a moment to admire the beautiful sea and sky. In the evening, the resort was hosting a party, and there were photo booths set up for guests to capture memories. We couldn't resist taking a few pictures ourselves.

Taking the buffalo for a ride on the back of a bicycle before going into the room to take a shower and prepare for the journey home.

Yesterday, I went to the La a na tu Facebook page and scrolled through the old posts. The admin asked, "Who has ever stayed in a Loft room and flooded it with bubbles? Confess!" I have to raise my hand and admit that I did. Seeing the admin's question made me want to try blowing bubbles in the Jacuzzi. It turned out that the bubbles overflowed, but it was a lot of fun.

After finishing a shower and packing my belongings neatly, I took a deep breath of the beautiful sea air to refresh my lungs before heading back, as I had a work meeting in the late afternoon.

Before returning home, we decided to make a quick stop in Phetchaburi city to buy some "Khao Niao Mamuang" (sweet sticky rice with mango) as a gift for our family. We chose to buy from "Mae Gim Lai" shop, a long-established business known for its authentic and delicious "Khao Niao Mamuang". The shop's traditional recipe ensures a perfect balance of sweetness and fragrance, making it our go-to place for this delightful dessert whenever we visit Phetchaburi.

The shop is located next to Khao Wang, or at the foot of Khao Wang. It is one of the shops selling sweets and souvenirs in the area around Khao Wang. In the past, there were many shops selling here. However, nowadays, most people tend to drive straight back to Bangkok and there are many souvenir shops along the way for convenience. As a result, there are only a few shops left that make and sell their own products. We ourselves stopped by some souvenir shops along the way, but we walked out empty-handed. We decided to drive back and buy from our usual shop instead.

The high quality of the desserts and the affordable price of 3 trays for 100 baht (large trays, same as in childhood) remain unchanged. If you're craving delicious and authentic "khanom mo kaeng," be sure to stop by and try it. You won't be disappointed.

From our stay at La a na tu bed & bakery resort, we experienced a high level of care and attention to detail in the service.

Attentive to every detail, ensuring a delightful and memorable stay for every guest.

The room, food, location, and everything else were worth the trip to La a na tu bed & bakery resort.
For those who want to experience the beautiful atmosphere, you can see pictures and details of La a na tu bed & bakery resort at their website and Facebook page.
