I'm back again! I've been on another trip, this time to Pai. It's the rainy season, so I didn't have much to do. I decided to go on a whim and booked a flight and hotel. Now I'm just waiting for my trip to start.

Let's go on a journey to Pai. Pai is a small district that I have been fascinated with and have visited many times, but I still want to go back. I never get tired of it, and this is the first time I'm writing a review of Pai or sharing my good memories with everyone. (Oh, the reason I started writing is because I saw the importance of other people writing stories for others to read and find information. I like to travel. When I first started traveling, I searched for information from everyone who had written about it, which was very helpful. So I tried to start writing to share my experiences and information with others.) Let's talk about this trip. I've been traveling since the end of July, and it's almost the end of August. This is a staff-written article, lol. Last time I just froze it, but this time I pickled it for longer, so I have to call it staff. Speaking of July and August, it's the rainy season, isn't it? Where can I go? For me, I think there are many places to visit in Thailand during the rainy season, it just depends on whether you're afraid of getting wet or not, lol. I've been talking for a long time and it has nothing to do with the trip information. As I said, I traveled in July and had to encounter rain. Travel details, mostly to the Chiang Mai side. From Chiang Mai to Pai, there are vans (orange). Oh, if you take AirAsia, there is a bus service to Pai. You should buy a transfer ticket that includes the bus fare and the plane fare. I don't know if other airlines have it or not. I think it's convenient to get off the plane and take the bus to Pai. I think the first part is already a long essay. Who will read it?
Pai is a small town surrounded by mountains on all sides, making the journey to Pai notorious for its winding roads. The roads are not only full of curves but also steep, which wasn't a problem for me as I enjoyed the scenery. However, the van's seating arrangement was designed for children. At 176 cm tall, I had nowhere to put my long legs. Once the van was full, it felt like the seats were locked in place, allowing for only minimal movement. (I'm just complaining a little.) If you want ultimate comfort, there's another option: take a small plane from Chiang Mai to Pai Airport. It's convenient, comfortable, and fast. I don't know the exact price, but it's worth considering. The flights are operated by Kan Air. Speaking of transportation, let me add one more thing. Once you arrive in Pai town, there are car rentals available, which I think is convenient. Prices range from 150 to 400 baht per day, depending on the car model. Choose whatever suits your riding style. ***Be careful when driving, especially around foreign tourists who might be new to riding motorbikes. There are also bicycles available, but I'm not that hardcore. I can't imagine cycling up those steep hills. 555+
Accommodation in Pai
Pai offers a wide variety of accommodation options, from budget-friendly guesthouses to luxurious resorts. While walk-ins are possible, booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak season. For this trip, I opted for a comfortable stay at Puripai Villa, located near Pai Airport and offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
Exploring Pai
Instead of following a day-by-day itinerary, I chose to explore Pai by location, focusing on specific areas and activities. This approach allowed for a more flexible and spontaneous experience. During my stay, I enjoyed leisurely drives in the evenings, stopping at various locations for food and sightseeing.
Rainy Season in Pai
Visiting Pai during the rainy season provided a unique experience. The lush greenery and the sound of raindrops created a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere. As the saying goes, "love comes with the rain," perhaps this is the perfect time to find that special someone.

🔘 Part 1 Puripai Villa
Puripai Villa is a hotel that I have stayed at twice now. I really like the atmosphere here. I have never written a review about a hotel before, but I will talk about the things that I liked about this hotel. This trip was all about relaxing, so I spent most of my time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and always greeted me with a smile. Some of the staff even chatted with me, which was nice since I was traveling alone. The rooms are large, clean, and well-equipped. There is also plenty of food available, which is replenished daily. My favorite spot at the hotel is The Barn. It has a beautiful view and is a great place to relax and enjoy food or drinks. I'm not sure what time it opens, but I ordered food and drinks there in the evening and at night. The atmosphere in the evening is especially nice. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel. The service, atmosphere, and amenities were all excellent. The hotel also provides bicycles for guests to use. I remember using a bicycle during my previous stay. I rode it quite far because it was mostly downhill. I enjoyed the ride and the scenery, but I eventually got tired. I was thinking about calling the hotel to pick me up, but I checked the map and realized I wasn't far from the hotel. So, I decided to push the bike back to the hotel. This experience taught me that every downhill has an uphill.
