It has been registered as an ancient monument by the Fine Arts Department since the past and is the only shrine in the world that houses both the city pillar, a sacred object according to Brahmanism, and various deities according to Chinese beliefs, coexisting in the same building. Therefore, it is a place of faith for people from all over the world.

The Great Reliquary Stupa
Location: Khao Tang Kuan, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province
The Phra That Luang Pagoda is a landmark of Songkhla. The sacred relics of the Buddha are enshrined within the pagoda, serving as a place of worship for the people of Songkhla. The annual robe-offering ceremony, the boat procession, and the alms-giving ceremony are held in October each year.

Shwedagon Pagoda
Pagoda Chedi Chaiya

The Shwedagon Pagoda is the first pagoda built by Burmese people in Thailand. It is a replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar, which is located on Singuttara Hill. The pagoda serves as a focal point for the Burmese community in Thailand, and it is a testament to the gratitude they feel towards the King and Queen of Thailand for allowing them to seek refuge and make a living in the country. The Burmese people are also grateful for the kindness of the Thai people, which has made it possible for them to live and work happily in Thailand. Sacred Object 4: Reclining Buddha
Reclining Buddha: Located at Laem Pho Temple, Moo 4, Koh Yo Subdistrict, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province.
The Reclining Buddha is the largest reclining Buddha statue in the posture of Parinirvana in Thailand. It was built in 1994 and is enshrined at Wat Laem Pho. Wat Laem Pho is an ancient temple, established in 1787 during the reign of King Rama III. The temple's significant religious structures include the Ubosot (ordination hall), the bell tower, and the stupa. The Legend of Headman Rang and the Nine Hundred Thousand Baht Hill
The legend of Headman Rang tells the story of a powerful official from a city subject to Nakhon Si Thammarat. He set out with a vast sum of nine hundred thousand baht to participate in a merit-making ceremony for the enshrinement of Buddha relics in a stupa at Nakhon Si Thammarat. However, during his journey, a violent storm struck, damaging his boat and forcing him to stop for repairs. This delay caused him to miss the ceremony.
Filled with remorse, Headman Rang ordered his crew to place the nine hundred thousand baht on a nearby hill. He then instructed them to behead him and place his head on the same hill.
