Starting with the Basics
If you're visiting Khao Yai, there's one place you absolutely cannot miss:
Khao Yai National Park
Planning ahead is recommended for a trip to Khao Yai National Park.
Consider your desired destinations and accommodation options.
Khao Yai National Park spans four provinces, so plan your route carefully to avoid unnecessary driving.
The national park offers a plethora of attractions, akin to a mini rally with numerous stops and scenic points scattered throughout.
For this trip, we opted for a relaxed itinerary, visiting only four key locations. (This section will focus primarily on visuals, as there are likely more comprehensive reviews available elsewhere.)
01
Haew Narok Waterfall
Note: The walk to the waterfall is approximately 800 meters and quite steep, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding hike.
Swimming in the waterfall is not permitted. Please be cautious of water spray damaging your camera equipment.
The best time to visit is at 10:00 AM, when the mist creates a beautiful rainbow effect. We were fortunate enough to witness this phenomenon, although we were busy wiping water off our camera lens at the time!
02. Suwat Waterfall
Noted: It's only a short walk, about 400 meters.
The waterfall is beautiful, with great photo opportunities. You can even sit and dip your feet in the water.
03
Sai Son Reservoir
Note: Open space, good breeze, beautiful view, good atmosphere. Next to it, there is a grassland for taking cool photos.
04
Kilometer 30 Viewpoint
Note: The panoramic view is stunning and worth a stop. One picture is all you need!

Hey, hey, hey! Our trip highlights aren't over yet.
Who knew that besides the natural abundance that everyone enjoys,
Khao Yai also has another hidden side.
Today, we'll take you to experience the artistic heart of this city!
'Khao Yai Art Museum'
The lush greenery here rivals the route we drove through.
Who would have thought that we would be able to see art amidst the forest atmosphere?
This is a private museum owned by Mr. Phongchai Jindasuksri.
His name may not be familiar, but if you mention that he is the owner of the Sunva faucet brand, you might still not recognize him. However, you might be able to recall his business.
This space will showcase the personal collection of Mr. Pongchai.
It is my personal opinion that he has a deep appreciation for art.
This is evident in the selection of artworks on display, each of which was created by a renowned artist in the art world.
This is the atmosphere outside the art gallery building.
Taken from a coffee shop on the 2nd floor, I'm sipping coffee and enjoying the view.
As you explore the area, you'll encounter art installations scattered throughout, adding a touch of sophistication to the surroundings.
Long live the King! He looks really handsome today!
The Art Gallery consists of three rooms: Art Space A/B and C.
Strolling through the exhibition, we encountered a variety of captivating displays, including both traditional paintings and interactive multimedia installations.
The works showcased a diverse range of artists, from renowned professors to emerging talents.
Nature and art, when combined, create a truly remarkable experience.
The traditional gallery setting, with its white walls and artificial lighting, is transformed into an open-air space filled with natural elements.
The juxtaposition of art and nature creates a unique and immersive atmosphere, inviting visitors to engage with the artwork in a new and meaningful way.
Spectacular and Creative!
A must-visit destination in Khao Yai, offering a unique opportunity to experience stunning art amidst a natural backdrop. Admission is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable experience for all.
The art gallery also has an accommodation zone called Art Space.
The atmosphere is good, shady and beautiful.
But this time we will skip it because we already have accommodation in mind, hehe.

"Khao Yai Cliff"
We are still committed to our interest in cool boutique hotels in Thailand, haha.
I remember seeing a picture of this place in a magazine and I was hooked.
I didn't realize that this place was in Khao Yai until I was looking for accommodation information!
The unique appeal of this location lies in its history as a former marble quarry.
This unique characteristic sets it apart from any other location in Thailand.
And here, they still maintain the original form of the mine.
Plus, they try to place the rooms to fit the original nature as much as possible!
The concept is very good!
As we mentioned earlier, we're taking you to meet an art legend! No, we're not kidding, he's a real legend.
The owner of this place is Professor Thawan Ko-Udomvit,
a leading artist in Thailand, whose work and prestigious awards speak for themselves.
It's no surprise that this place feels like an art gallery.
When you come here, you'll find artwork by various artists.
The artwork is displayed as part of the decor.

The permanent professor has a son who is an architect.
Both of them had an idea to do something together.
The father's artistry combined with the son's architecture
resulted in the creation of 'The Cliff'.
And of course, the highlight of our visit here is
We will be staying in an old quarry (no, not this one, haha)
This is our room for tonight, wow!
So cool, I'm going to be happy for ten years! 555
The resort is quite small, with only 8 rooms available.
Each room offers a unique perspective.
The design and decor prioritize harmony with nature.
It feels like we're sleeping in a real quarry.
(Exclusively amazing >/<)
---
Let's take a look inside the room!
Starting with the bathroom, I must say that the attention to detail here is top-notch.
The design is excellent. If you're into this kind of thing, you definitely need to try it out.

What's important, you know? 180 degree view
Waking up to a view that's like, wow, it's good for the heart!
Another cool thing about this place is that
it's not just beautiful, but also
designed with functionality in mind.
They have curtains both outside and inside.
The outside ones act like heat shields.
The cool thing is they have a remote control to open and close them. Press it all you want! 5555
As the evening falls, we sit and relax by the cliff, watching the beautiful sunset.
Oh, I forgot to mention that this is a full board accommodation.
This means the price includes the room and three meals a day.
I didn't expect much at first, but the food is made with high-quality ingredients and is truly delicious!
Dinner starts with a salad, followed by a main course of steak, and ends with dessert.
On the day I went, I had the chance to try sticky rice with longan, which was amazing!
A hearty breakfast, each set is different, but very filling.

This is a delicious lunch before checking out.

Pay once and be done with it! Let's encourage beautiful accommodations to offer package deals!

Before the end of the trip, there is one room that is the most famous room here.
The real highlight is sleeping on the cliff, just like the name suggests.
Luckily, I went on a day when there were no guests, so I secretly took some photos. It's super beautiful!
