The trip will take place on April 14-15, 2016.
We will travel by van, departing from the Victory Monument near Rajavithi Hospital. Please inform the ticket seller that you will be getting off at the Talad Rot Fai market.
I'm not sure how long it takes to get to the Hua Hin Night Market. As for accommodation, I was initially looking at Fule, but it was full. So I chose Mod Gatehouse instead. The view is no different, it's beautiful, but I guess the rooms are different. I booked the accommodation through Agoda for 500 baht per night for 2 people, but we went with 3 people that day and they didn't charge us extra. The owner is very nice. The room we stayed in had a fan because it felt like almost all the rooms were full that day. So I decided, okay, a fan is a fan. We only slept there for one night.

The advantages of staying here are its proximity to the shrine and the beach access. In the evenings, there are food stalls set up on the canvas beds in front of the Hilton Hotel zone.
In the late afternoon, I went out to watch the procession of the royal water pouring ceremony. The streets were packed with people.
The Sun Sets, Tourists Dine, and Locals Dig for Clams
As the sun dips below the horizon and the wind settles, tourists begin to emerge, eager to enjoy a meal with a view. Meanwhile, local residents can be seen hunched over along the rocky shores, seemingly engrossed in some hidden activity. Curiosity piqued, we approach to investigate and discover that they are engaged in a unique pursuit: clam digging.
These tiny shellfish, according to the locals, are a culinary delight when pickled in salt. The sight of the community coming together to harvest this natural bounty speaks to the deep connection between the people and their environment. It is a reminder that sustenance can be found in the most unexpected places, and that even the simplest of activities can hold a wealth of cultural significance.
After our walk on the beach, we rushed to take a shower to go to the night market.
But before we went, we stopped by Jeh Pia's restaurant for dinner. Wow, it was packed!
But the queue moved quickly, and we only waited for about half an hour. We ordered 5-6 dishes, and we loved every single one of them, especially the jim jum.
It was absolutely perfect.
After satisfying our hunger, we continued our walk. There were a plethora of goods for sale, but the vendors informed us that many shops were closed due to the holiday. Typically, there are even more shops open.
The food at the market is quite expensive, but Uncle Ja's shop is really crowded. I don't know if it's expensive or not.
After strolling through the bustling night market for a while, we returned to our accommodation. Before reaching Mod Gatehouse, we passed by Foole. Look, we even found a sign!
Good morning! I woke up early to watch the sunrise, but I overslept and missed it. Oh well, it's still beautiful out here.
Before returning to Bangkok, we had lunch at "Jek Peah" as usual. As always, the place was packed. But no worries, we managed to get a table. Yay!
