As a travel enthusiast, my first trip to Koh Kood was a farewell party for my colleagues and me, who were leaving our jobs. Coincidentally, the island was hosting the Single Party 2016 by Palapilii Thailand. We needed accommodation near the event, so I left the planning to a colleague. I had no idea where we were staying or how we would get there. It was a complete blank slate.

This review focuses on the accommodation aspect of my recent trip to Koh Kood, specifically the resort that left a lasting impression on me. It was a place that fostered fond memories of farewells and new friendships, making it a destination I find myself yearning for even after my return.

While I will provide a separate review covering the various travel experiences on Koh Kood, this one delves into the resort that played a pivotal role in making the trip so memorable. The warm atmosphere and genuine connections formed during my three-day, two-night stay at "To The Sea The Resort Koh Kood" have left an indelible mark, prompting me to reminisce about the special moments shared there.

We departed from the Express pier. The boat left around 1:15 PM, and it took about an hour to reach Koh Kood.

Upon arrival, three of us prepared to disembark for this trip...

Upon disembarking from the boat, a car will be waiting to pick you up at the pier. The driver will ask where you are staying and will provide you with the number of the car you should board.

It took us about half an hour to travel from the pier to the resort. I must say, the roads on this island are great! We had a relaxing ride, enjoying the breeze and the scenery. After a while, we arrived at the resort. It was a good opportunity to see what the island has to offer in terms of attractions.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a refreshing drink and can check in to their rooms.

The resort features individual villas, with an estimated total of 22 units. These villas are categorized into three types: Deluxe, Beach Front Deluxe, and Beach Front Suite. Each villa offers a high degree of privacy, as they are detached from one another. Additionally, each villa boasts a private patio where guests can relax and enjoy the scenic views.

For our accommodation on this trip, we opted for a standard Deluxe room, not a Beach Front one, to save some money. We'll just walk to the beach to relax later. Hehe. Let's take a look at the room... Upon opening the door, we were greeted by three beds, arranged for our group of three.

The resort provides two towels, a large one and a small one, placed on the bed.

The room is decorated with fish and air freshener.

Let's take a look at the bathroom. The bathroom is clearly separated from the bedroom, and the toilet and shower are also separated.

Shoes are allowed in the room and slippers are provided for the waiter. You don't have to bring your own slippers.

The dressing table is equipped with a hairdryer and toiletries. The other compartment houses a refrigerator and a clothes rack with a bathrobe provided. For tea and coffee lovers, an electric kettle, tea, and coffee are available on the table.

Wait a minute! Where's the bathroom? Do I have to open another door? Oh my god, there's another room for the bathroom! Let's go check it out.

An open-air event, a nude event in the midst of nature. Oh, so chill.

This event will be a relaxing experience, allowing you to bathe, admire the scenery, and gaze at the stars.

For those who are sensitive to cold, there are water heaters available, so there is no need to worry. And for those who are shy, there is no need to be embarrassed. No one will see you, as the walls are high and provide complete privacy.

After settling into our room, it's time to take a leisurely stroll around the resort.

Enjoy the rooftop view for dining and chilling at your leisure.

Looking down, you will see a swimming pool.

A cup of fragrant coffee, looking at the sea view, the wind blowing gently on the face. Oh, it's so comfortable.

Walking out, oh hey, familiar faces! Nancy and Atom are staying here too. We get to hang out again without even planning it.

Enough chilling upstairs, let's go play in the sea, let's go play in the pool, let's go!

Let's play in the water together. Even though we're all going our separate ways to chase our dreams, and we won't be working together anymore, I believe that one day we'll be able to travel together again. I'm feeling a little sad, but as long as we're still breathing, we'll meet again someday.

Watching the sunset at To The Sea The Resort Koh Kood is definitely worth it. The view is amazing.

For those who enjoy swimming in the sea, staying here will not disappoint. You can walk down to the beach, and the resort has a sandy beach in front.

For those who want to kayak and snorkel, the resort also provides equipment for free. This is a great perk!

After playing in the water until it was cool, I waited to take pictures of the sunset. Let me tell you, I was really feeling the vibes with the sky at Koh Kood. It was amazing. Just look at the pictures.

Breakfast here is served as a set menu with a variety of options. However, if there are many guests, it will be an ABF Breakfast buffet. It depends on the number of guests. I know this because I went there for two days and experienced both types of breakfast.

I'd like to share my recent trip to Koh Kood. I never thought I'd visit this island, but I'm glad I did. It's a bit far, and everything is quite expensive. There are no convenience stores like 7-Eleven.

However, after spending three days and two nights here, I realized how amazing this island is. It has beautiful waterfalls, stunning beaches, and lush nature. The food is delicious, although a bit pricey, which is understandable given the remote location.

The highlight of my trip was the accommodation. I want to thank my new friend, Nong Ne from To The Sea, for taking such good care of me. They took me shopping, sightseeing, and introduced me to different parts of Koh Kood. I also want to thank Nong Nancy and Nong Atom for joining me on this trip. We spent three days together, exploring the island during the day and partying at night.
