Time for the heart to greet the breeze
Open the opportunity for sunlight and body to meet
The air circulates sadness, suffering evaporates into smoke
Let your thoughts float for a day
This is vacation time
The song inspired a sudden urge for relaxation, especially amidst the grief of a significant national loss and the exhaustion of work. Thus, a spontaneous trip was planned. On Wednesday evening, we decided to go on Thursday morning. Our only plan was to lie down and listen to the waves. Our destination was Koh Samet, one of the nine islands in the "Plant Genetic Conservation Project Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn" (known as APSP). It is the largest island among the nine and is open for educational and conservation tourism, following Princess Sirindhorn's vision of allowing young people to study nature closely. It also aims to instill a sense of conservation in young people, fostering a genuine passion for protecting the environment. Koh Samet is a perfect day trip destination. I will skip the details of travel and ticket purchases, as many other posts have already covered them. This post will focus on the atmosphere of Ao Luk Lom beach. Let's go!
We have arrived at Koh Saemsar! The boat ride took less than 20 minutes, and upon arrival, we couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" The water is incredibly clear.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Upon arrival, military instructors will provide a briefing on the history of the area and explain the various activities available, including kayaking, snorkeling at two designated spots, and for those who prefer to stay dry, a glass-bottom boat tour of the coral reefs. Additionally, there are opportunities for cycling along nature trails.
After the lecture, we took this car to Haad Look Lom.
We have arrived at our destination! The water is incredibly blue.
We rented a mat for 20 baht and a canvas bed for 20 baht. After getting the equipment, we walked around to find a spot to set up. A soldier helped us set up the bed. If you want to go kayaking, snorkeling, or ride a glass-bottom boat, you can do it at this beach. However, all activities have additional costs. On this trip, we just wanted to relax, so we just lay under the pine trees and enjoyed the beautiful view.
The other side of Hat Look Lom is also very beautiful. The waves crashing against the rocks are just as stunning as the Andaman Sea.
After taking photos for a while, in the afternoon, I took a nap. I spread a mat under the shade of a pine tree and listened to the sound of the waves.
After resting our eyes and regaining our energy, let's change into our swimsuits and have some fun in the water!
After enjoying a refreshing swim and achieving the desired tan, we showered, changed clothes, and ascended to the scenic viewpoint to capture some memorable photos before departing.
The setting sun casts a warm glow on the azure sea, creating a breathtaking scene. While the photograph captures its beauty, witnessing it firsthand would undoubtedly be even more awe-inspiring. Our homeland boasts numerous hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Pack your bags and embark on an adventure to explore these wonders. Thank you for visiting. Farewell...
