To discover the vastness of the world, one must embark on a journey of exploration.

Realizing this, I informed my family in 2007 that I wanted to make it a year of travel.

Eight years have passed, and life continues its journey.

That day…

I never thought I would be brave enough to travel with strangers.

I never thought I would find a kindred spirit who would become my close friend.

I never thought I could carry a backpack and hike through the forest for several kilometers.

I never thought I would take so many travel notes.

Today...

The stories that have been written fill several notebooks, and many more stories are being collected with both information and pictures whenever time permits.

Whenever I miss it, I just pick it up and look at it. The old atmosphere of the journey floats back to me every time.

And it makes us excited to do it again on many trips.
