Where to travel this week? This question is always on my mind.
Because I travel almost every week, if I don't go somewhere one week, it feels like something is missing.
I want to travel, but I don't want to get too tired, because traveling frequently for a long time can be tiring.
I'm not old at all, I'm still young (haha).
This week, I'm taking you to visit Suphan Buri. I admit that at first, I wasn't very interested.
Because I thought there wouldn't be anything there, that was my own thought.
But after visiting and traveling to many places, I have to change my mind.
With 2 days and 1 night, driving for a little over an hour in Suphan Buri, we stayed at a resort for a few hundred baht.
Sra Plai Suan Resort
Located in U Thong District, we also visited many other places in the area.
Where did we go? I want you to know more about it.
Ready... then let's go!

Passing through the city, we stopped by the Mangkorn Sawan Park, the City Pillar Shrine.
On our visit to Suphan Buri province, we came from Ayutthaya province because we had been there before.
So we had the opportunity to visit the Mangkorn Sawan Park. I had seen pictures taken by friends and on the internet many times before.
Today was the first time I saw it in person. It was truly magnificent.
Another popular spot for tourists to visit to ward off bad luck. The power of faith is truly remarkable.
The construction of this site was a success, making it a must-visit destination in Suphan Buri province. Best of all, admission is free!
Inside Mangkorn Sawan Park and the City Pillar Shrine, there are many places to shop for souvenirs and other goods.
There are also delicious treats available, with shops decorated in a Chinese style, which is a unique feature of this place.
After leaving Mangkorn Sawan Park and the City Pillar Shrine, we headed towards Suphan Buri via U Thong district.
We then continued on to Nakhon Pathom and Kanchanaburi provinces, driving straight for about an hour to reach our accommodation for the night.
At Sara Plai Suan Resort.

Come and see the beds tonight. The houses are detached with beautiful gardens in front.
And the back is next to a large pool, which I think is also a fish pond. There are a lot of fish too.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

If you ask what we like most at Sap Plai Suan Resort, it's the atmosphere.

Nestled amidst lush greenery, Sa Pralai Suan Resort offers a serene escape for travelers seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. The resort boasts a variety of accommodations, each designed to provide a comfortable and tranquil experience.
One of the highlights of the resort is the private balcony area overlooking the swimming pool. This secluded space offers a perfect setting to unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. Imagine yourself sitting on the balcony, enjoying a refreshing drink as the gentle breeze carries the scent of nature. The lack of crowds ensures a sense of privacy, making it an ideal spot for quiet contemplation or intimate gatherings.
Sa Pralai Suan Resort caters to diverse needs, offering rooms at various price points. The most affordable option starts at 500 baht per night for rooms that do not include breakfast and are not located near the pool. Other room categories, including those with pool access and breakfast included, range from 900 to 1700 baht per night.
The resort's commitment to affordability makes it an attractive choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay. The verdant surroundings and peaceful ambiance further enhance the overall experience, making Sa Pralai Suan Resort a true hidden gem.
This is the largest house, with 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 3-4 people. The price is 1700 baht including breakfast.
We then took a walk and introduced you to other corners of the garden pool. I must say that there are cute photo spots for you to check in. Oh, and there's also free Wi-Fi here.
The backyard pond at this resort is teeming with fish. Instead of counting individual fish, we're talking about schools of fish that the resort has raised.
Fish food is available for purchase at 10 baht per bag. Come take a leisurely stroll and feed the fish for some fun.
The wooden bridge you see is sturdy and well-constructed. We've walked across it many times without any problems.
The resort's pond at the end of the garden in the evening.
The evening light, colors, and air, accompanied by the tranquility of relaxation, are all present here.
Oh, Sa Ra Phai Sawan Resort, in addition to being a resort, is also a restaurant.
The restaurant at Sa Ra Phai Sawan. The resort owner personally prepares and cooks the food.
For tonight's meal, I'm craving something spicy and flavorful, just the way I like it. I'm open to any dish, whether it's savory or sweet, as long as it's delicious.
Tonight, we are at the Sraplaisaun Resort, a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle.
This secure and tranquil environment provides the perfect respite before our journey to explore the wonders of Suphan Buri tomorrow.
In addition to the swimming pool, Suan Phlu Resort also offers other attractions, such as a traditional Thai black house.
This house serves as a model for the younger generation to learn about the traditional way of life of the Thai black people.
Moreover, Suan Phlu Resort is also home to a large number of rabbits.
The fluffy bunnies here are not just counted individually, but are raised in a flock of over 20. They are not afraid of people either.
You can walk up to them and pet their fur without them running away. 555
It's time for breakfast at the resort's fish pond.
Despite the Thai-style atmosphere, the breakfast that day was Western-style. We thought that a bowl of rice porridge would have been more suitable for the atmosphere. We also like rice porridge for breakfast. However, we were full and ready to check out and continue our journey.
Before checking out, we stopped by to take a selfie and sit by the water for a while.
For those interested in visiting Suphan Buri and looking for affordable accommodation with a pleasant atmosphere, consider Sap Laai Suan Resort.

Visiting U Thong: A Journey to Wat Khao Di Salak
Our exploration of U Thong focused on the U Thong district to minimize travel fatigue. We embarked on a scenic drive up the mountain, leading us to the breathtaking Wat Khao Di Salak and its panoramic viewpoint.
The highlight of our visit was the revered footprint of Buddha, known as the "Rอยพระพุทธบาทวัดเขาดีสลัก." Dating back to the Dvaravati period (14th-16th centuries CE), this sacred relic showcases the artistic influences of the era. While predominantly Dvaravati in style, traces of other artistic influences can be discerned, adding to the site's historical intrigue.
Beyond the footprint, we paid our respects at the temple, admiring the magnificent "พระมณฑป" from our unique perspective. The surrounding area boasts charming gardens and tranquil fish ponds, offering a serene escape amidst nature. The best part? Admission is free, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty without financial constraints.
Hello World A small forest at Wat Khao Disalak
Then we went on to see something amazing that left us speechless.

It has been carved about 85% now.
Still not enough, where to go next? Here, because the body needs refreshment. This is the answer.
A Unique Rock Garden in the Heart of an Ancient Forest: Exploring the Prehistoric Civilization of Phu Hang Na Kham, Suphan Buri
Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Suphan Buri's U Thong district lies the captivating Phu Hang Na Kham Natural Stone Park, a geological marvel that transports visitors to a bygone era. This remarkable site boasts a fascinating collection of rock formations, offering a glimpse into the prehistoric civilization that thrived in the region before the Dvaravati period.
The 924-meter nature trail leading through the park presents a moderate challenge, with a steeper incline during the initial 100 meters. The surrounding forest, a deciduous ecosystem, is home to a diverse array of valuable plant species. To protect this delicate ecosystem, visitors are required to follow designated paths and remain under the guidance of park officials.
Among the park's highlights is the presence of the ancient cycad, a living fossil dating back thousands of years. This prehistoric plant, along with the endangered 'Chan' tree, adds to the park's ecological significance. The park also serves as a refuge for these vulnerable species, protecting them from illegal logging and poaching.
Phu Hang Na Kham offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of nature and history. Its captivating rock formations, diverse flora, and prehistoric legacy provide a captivating experience for visitors seeking to delve into Thailand's rich cultural and natural heritage.
Directions to Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park
The park is located near U Thong District (30 km from the city center). From the clock tower roundabout, head towards Wat Khao Phra Si Sanphet. After about 2 km, there will be a sign on the left-hand side for Phu Hin Rong Kla.
Continue for another 2 km, and you will reach a three-way intersection. Turn left for Wat Khao Tham Thiam, or right for Phu Hin Rong Kla (approximately 3 km).
When exploring the forest, a guide will accompany you, providing explanations and pointing out interesting features. It is recommended to visit during the winter season, as the sunset from the top offers stunning views of U Thong town.
For those who are interested in visiting, remember to tip your guide. For us, a 2-day, 1-night trip to this new destination provided us with knowledge, firsthand experiences, and the opportunity to connect with nature. It was far more valuable than simply viewing images on a screen.
