Foresta Resort: A Tranquil Oasis by the Sea

Nestled amidst lush greenery and offering a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation, Foresta Resort is a charming small resort located on the beachfront road of Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan. This hidden gem provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation option for travelers seeking a seaside escape without breaking the bank. With room rates typically ranging between 1,000 and 2,000 baht, Foresta Resort offers excellent value for money, especially when considering the frequent promotional offers available.

During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of staying in a room overlooking the resort's inviting swimming pool. Join me as we explore the tranquility and charm of Foresta Resort.

The resort has undergone a complete renovation, with the buildings now sporting vibrant yet tasteful colors that evoke a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. The interior design is characterized by clean lines, a sophisticated style, and meticulous attention to detail. The meticulously landscaped gardens provide a serene and visually pleasing environment, contributing to the overall sense of tranquility. This transformation is a remarkable improvement, creating an ambiance that is both calming and invigorating.

A two-minute walk from the resort takes you to the beautiful and peaceful Pranburi Beach. In addition, the newly renovated beachfront road, which looks great, comes with a bike path.

The resort's central lagoon is surrounded by poolside rooms, offering immediate access to the water for swimming enthusiasts.

The room features a king-size bed and a glass window overlooking the pool. The headboard has ample storage space with conveniently placed power outlets on both sides, eliminating the need to share.

The foot of the bed features an LCD TV, DVD player, refreshment set, dressing table, refrigerator, wardrobe, and bathroom entrance.

Inside the wardrobe, there are hangers, towels, umbrellas, mosquito repellent, a hairdryer, and a refrigerator with two free bottles of drinking water below.

The bathroom is long and narrow, but it doesn't feel cramped. The sink is large and comfortable, and the shower stall is not too small. There is soap and shampoo provided, and a glass partition to prevent the floor from getting wet.

Perfect for swimming as it is conveniently close.

The Culinary Delights of Le Café

Nestled amidst the serene surroundings of Pranburi, Le Café stands as the culinary heart of Foresta Resort. This open-air restaurant, with its intimate setting of approximately 10 tables, offers a delightful escape for both tourists and locals alike. The gentle melodies that fill the air create a relaxed ambiance, inviting guests to savor the flavors of the region.

The cafe offers both Thai and Western cuisine, but this review will focus on the Western-style menu, which is so outstanding that it deserves a recommendation. Despite its simple appearance, the cafe has the potential to serve fine dining.

While waiting for our meal, we were presented with complimentary bread. The bread was soft and chewy, topped with a flavorful combination of sweet, sour, salty, and fresh ingredients that tantalized our taste buds and perfectly whetted our appetites.

'Smoked Salmon Salad'

This salad features generous slices of flavorful smoked salmon, accompanied by crisp vegetables and a well-balanced, creamy dressing.

'Crispy Calamari'

Freshly caught squid from Pranburi, cut into bite-sized pieces, coated in a light and crispy batter, and fried to golden perfection. A squeeze of lime adds a refreshing touch. This dish is expertly prepared and delivers a delightful combination of textures and flavors.

'Seafood Bisque'

This dish features generous portions of fresh, high-quality seafood. The broth boasts a rich, aromatic flavor with a well-balanced intensity, showcasing a standard of excellence.

'Spaghetti Alle Vongole'
Fresh clams from Ban Laem, plump and sweet, tossed with perfectly cooked pasta, creating a fragrant and flavorful dish. Highly recommended.

'Squid Ink Pasta with Seafood'
Black squid ink pasta with generous seafood, stir-fried in a spicy Thai drunken noodle style. The dish is well-executed and flavorful.

'Pizza'

This menu item features a thin-crust pizza made with imported Italian flour and sauce. The pizza is generously topped with cheese and offers a delightful aroma. It is highly recommended.

'Pork Steak'

A thick-cut pork steak, cooked to tender perfection and infused with a rich, flavorful sauce. This classic dish is a staple of many restaurants, offering a satisfying and savory dining experience.

'Beef Steak'

A thick, juicy cut of steak, cooked to your desired level of doneness. The steak is tender and flavorful, with a prominent aroma.

'Barbecue Ribs'
The signature dish, the large, meaty, tender, and boneless barbecue ribs, is a must-try. This time, the flavor has changed, becoming more nuanced, smooth, and well-rounded. Highly recommended.

A variety of refreshing beverages perfectly complement the meal and enhance the overall ambiance.

This is my third visit to this resort, and I have witnessed continuous improvements each time. The resort's ambiance and decor have been significantly enhanced, creating a more upscale and sophisticated atmosphere. The restaurant's cuisine has evolved to incorporate international flavors, making it a popular destination for both tourists and locals. With its affordable prices, beachfront location, and comprehensive amenities, Foresta Resort offers a complete and enjoyable experience.
