Hello everyone :)

Back again, this trip, tell him that I love "him" to hug the cold in the mountains, Doi Khun Tal itself.

But this trip is not alone, there is another friend.

To climb a mountain, climb a mountain, travel like this, you must have a friend who knows the same style, because you will be friends and will be able to drag each other up.

To the top of the mountain 5555+ Honestly, it's like all the way but it goes, my heart is like, it has to arrive, my friend is always there to encourage me.

"I'm here, I'm here, let's go to the top."

Okay, the top is the top....and then I arrived. Okay, let's get to the point.

"Enter travel mode"

At Hua Lamphong Railway Station

Chompoo: I'd like a ticket to Khun Tan, please.

Officer: Stand, please. There are no more seats available, only sleeping berths.

#DisasterStruck 14 hours Oh my god, well, I'll stand. But once I get on, I'll just sit down and see if anyone comes to claim the seat.

But there was still some good luck. My friend and I ended up sitting in seats 15-16, which the officer later blocked with a sign saying they were reserved for monks and novices. This meant that the seats were not for sale, and we could only get up if a monk came. We sat for a long time, and it started to get cold. We had to pull out our blankets to keep warm. It must have been around Sawankhalok station. If you're not too fancy, this is another way to travel.

Saturday, December 11, 2016 I woke up around 6:00 am.

"Endure mode until I reach my destination."

❄This trip started when a friend messaged me saying:
Friend: I want to go hiking...
Me: Which forest?
Friend: Doi Khun Tal.....
Me:...(read the review for a while)... When should we go?
And finally, we decided to arrange a trip (easy-going, no hesitation at all -..- )

🗻 December 10, 2016: Reaching the destination without much delay, we arrived around 11:30 am. We started taking pictures from the bottom, the path leading up to the park was incredibly steep, and we were already panting before reaching the 1-kilometer mark. Our accommodation was a tent (270 baht per tent, including a sleeping mat, blanket, and pillow). The accommodation offered a limited menu, but the food was sufficient to fill our stomachs. Instant noodles were available, and hot water was provided. Snacks were also sold at the tourist service center, where there was a small terrace to sit and enjoy coffee or charge your devices. We pitched our tent at the stargazing platform next to the center. At night, we came back to charge our devices before going to sleep in the tent.

The plan was to start the climb to the top of the mountain at 3:30 AM on December 11th, 2016. However, we didn't bring any flashlights, and it was too dark to see. We waited until 5:00 AM, but it was still dark. We weren't afraid of ghosts, but we were worried about falling and dying. So, we waited for the sun to rise. We finally woke up at 6:00 AM, washed our faces, ate breakfast, and started our hike around 8:30 AM. We reached the summit around 11:30 AM and took about 20 minutes to descend (faster than the ascent). We arrived at the train station around 3:30 PM after a quick lunch and shower.

((Checkpoint 1))

Checkpoint 1 is located approximately 1,100 meters from the park office. Upon reaching Checkpoint 1, visitors will find a pavilion where King Rama V once stayed, as well as three railway staff quarters.

Y.2 is located about 800 meters from Y. 1. When you arrive, you will see a lychee garden and temperate trees such as pears, persimmons, and pine fields. However, the main attraction for tourists is the residence of M.R. Kukrit Pramoj, which is not open to the general public.

Wow, Y.3 is incredibly steep, located 3 kilometers from Y.2, while other Y's are spaced about a kilometer apart.

Y.3 is situated approximately 3,600 meters above Y.2 and houses the missionary residence.

From here, we head towards Y.4.

The steep slope to the viewpoint almost made us crawl.

We finally arrived at Y.4, panting and out of breath. It was worth the tiring climb.

The cool breeze and stunning view were a reward for our efforts. If you enjoy mountains and nature, the climb is definitely worth it.

Y.4 is located about 1,500 meters above Y.3, making it the highest peak of this mountain. Although the distance is not great, the climb is very steep. Once you reach the top of Y.4, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surroundings. Many people choose to visit Y.4 to watch the sunrise, which is a truly breathtaking experience.

To secure a return ticket, I requested the station master's phone number from the park officials. The station master kindly brought the ticket up to the mountain and collected payment there, saving me the trouble of going back down. This eliminated the need to stand for the return journey.

Boarded the train, carriage 2/1, train number 52, Chiang Mai - Bangkok. The train conductor in this carriage is very cute (when he's not wearing his hat, of course). I couldn't help but stare. 5555+ #MyFlirtySideIsActingUpAgain #JustKidding

Avoid the food in the pantry. It costs 100 baht per dish. Our simple stir-fried basil with rice is much better.

Sunset view on the train

If you take a plane or a car, you probably won't see this kind of view.
The train journey starts from the moment you leave the station. It may be tiring to sit down, but you can take hundreds of pictures.

The train arrived in Bangkok at 6 am on December 12, 2016, marking the end of a tiring journey that left everyone with sore legs. Recently, our travel-loving friend sent a link to Doi Pha Hom Pok and Pha Hua Sing in the LINE chat. Let's just say, we need some time to save up! Don't worry, friends, there will definitely be another trip soon.

Thank you for reading until the end. This trip is over.

See you again on the next trip.
