EP 1. # Our nine-person team embarked on a bumpy journey, enduring the rough road conditions,

to bring you to a selection of five-star OTOP products at the "Baan E-Tong Fresh Market."
..
..
Oops, wrong! This trip, we're taking you to conquer "Khao Chang Puakkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!"

Please imagine a grand, echoing voice, like you're watching a digital movie at the Saithong Rama Cineplex.

Episode 2: A Trip with Strangers

This trip started with nine of us, close friends since high school.

Just kidding! This was a trip where almost everyone split the cost and had just met the night before the trip.

Those who signed up for the trip were mysteriously herded into a van at night at the BTS Mo Chit station.

We then took a long, sleepy ride, waking up in the morning feeling dazed and confused to find ourselves in the village of E-tong.

Honestly, at that moment, I couldn't even remember the names of my fellow travelers, let alone what they looked like. Haha!

I didn't know anyone, so why was I there? Because if I had known anyone, I would have invited them, but no one came. So, I ended up going with people I didn't know.

Before the trip, I didn't know anyone. Confused? I'll just confuse myself further!

EP 3. # We then set off from E-tong village as the story goes ... to head for "Khao Chang Phuak Peak"

The guide gave us information all the way. Today's route that we will walk is a total of 8 kilometers.

We walked for a while until we reached an open area, and he pointed to the mountain range far behind.

..

..

That's where we're going to walk and climb the ridge today.

Well, seeing that ... I quickly wiped my sweat - -"

  • </p>: This tag indicates the end of the paragraph.

This code snippet can be used in various contexts, such as:

  • Separating different sections of an article or blog post.
  • Adding visual emphasis to a heading or subheading.
  • Creating a visual break between different types of content.

I hope this translation is helpful!

EP 4. # Our first destination is to carry our luggage, just to create a landmarkat the base camp.

Which isa tent site for sleeping overnight (7 km away from E-tong village).

During this time, the skills of hiking, tracking deer, gaur, and barking deer like a super hunter do not need to be used.

Because the path is clear all the way, you can walk with your eyes closed and follow others. You won't get lost in the forest.

..

..

And the path will start to climb higher and higher. During this time, the outstanding qualities that you should have

is to be a camel in the Gobi Desert, tough enough to withstand the sun and wind.

Because the only obstacle we encountered was that when it was a bare mountain, we encountered extremely strong sunlight!!!

Walking like this, I'm so tired and hot that my saliva is sticky in my throat: P

EP 5. # We walked for about three and a half hours, taking breaks along the way, until we reached the campsite.

The majestic "Elephant Mountain" that we had seen from afar was now right in front of us.

After setting up our tents, we had some time to spare.

But when we looked at the steep path we had to climb next, we were shocked!

..

..

We started to hesitate and asked both the guide and the park ranger.

They both gave the same answer: We had to climb the high mountain first.

Only then could we enjoy a leisurely walk on the ridge of Elephant Mountain.

When we realized what we were in for, we closed our eyes, said a prayer, and took a nap to gather our strength.

EP 6. # The thrilling 3:30 PM has begun.

We had to climb a further kilometer to meet the top celebrity, "Sankommit Knife Point," who was waiting with a big smile.

..

..

This spot guarantees excitement and thrill to the fullest.

It's the highlight of Khao Chang Puak because it has a 4-meter high rock face for us to climb.

Plus, it's a viewpoint with a deep chasm on both the left and right sides, right under our feet as we climb.

We don't have to think much, if we fall into the left chasm, we die... if we fall into the right chasm, we'll probably die too. - -"

To survive, there are two choices... climb straight up or retreat. This is where we test our courage.

Of course, we refused to back down and were ready to continue.

But when it was my turn, I stood there burning my spark plugs, trying to get myself ready.

Before I slowly shifted into low gear, I showed off my trembling legs and jerking engine as I climbed.

Episode 7: After conquering the trembling steps and the sharp ridge, we continued our ascent to the highest point.

The situation seemed to improve as we walked on the mountain ridge. However, we couldn't afford to be complacent and walk casually, as some sections were less than a meter wide.

As always, if we stumbled on our own shadow and accidentally fell to the right, it would mean death. Falling to the left would also lead to rebirth.

Mindfulness, oh mindfulness, we chanted it in our hearts with every step. Personally, I was afraid of making a mistake, so I ended up walking while staring at my feet.

EP 8. # The final climb before reaching the summit was steep, requiring us to crawl on all fours.

Upon reaching the highest point of Khao Chang Phuak, at 1,249 meters,

the whole gang wanted to take a group photo to commemorate the thrilling moment.

However, it was quite challenging, as some claimed their bellies were too heavy to jump,

while others mischievously covered their friends' faces with their hands during the jump, fearing they would outshine them.

As a result, we had to retake the jump several times.

It took a while to get the perfect shot, with everyone's faces visible... We jumped so much that our knees almost gave out!

As the sun begins to set, it's time to head back to the campsite.

We find ourselves hanging on the edge of the mountain once again, and the atmosphere is breathtaking.

The evening sun shines directly on the ridge of the Elephant Mountain, creating an unforgettable moment.

This is a sunset view that rivals any other. All you have to do is take pictures and enjoy the moment.

This is a simple HTML code snippet. The <hr> tag is used to create a horizontal line, which can be used to separate different sections of content on a webpage. In this case, the <hr> tag is used to create a line between two paragraphs.

Here is the translation of the code snippet:

This code snippet will create two empty paragraphs with a horizontal line separating them.

EP 10. # The "knife edge" problem arises again, a point where พี่ตูน believes all Thais can fly.

However, in reality, anyone can fly, regardless of nationality, if they make a misstep on Khao Chang Puak.

When it was my turn to climb down, I quickly turned around to ask if anyone was in a hurry to descend.

"Can I overtake you? I haven't finished preparing myself yet…" I said, immediately showing compassion. :P

EP 11. # Before climbing down, I apologized to the person behind me.

I emphasized the concept of slow but sure, climbing down in super slow motion.

I tried to make my butt bigger to increase the surface area in contact with the rock.

I slowly slid down little by little. Thankfully, the staff helped me and told me where to step.

When I climbed past the "knife-edge ridge", I was so relieved that I almost bowed down in gratitude. I survived!

Day 12: Reaching the campsite just as darkness fell, we ate dinner and went straight to sleep in our tents.

Warping to the next morning… I don't know about the other tents, but our guide had prepared a full-blown stir-fried dish for breakfast, while others were having instant noodles.

We ate heartily to show our appreciation before preparing to descend the mountain.

Some people prefer downhill walks because they're easier and less tiring, but personally, I'm not a fan because of the heavy feeling in my stomach.

I suspect I'm more affected by the Earth's gravitational pull than others, which is why I'm not very comfortable with downhill walks.

EP 13: Khao Chang Puak - A Hiker's Paradise

In this episode, we explore the challenging yet rewarding climb to the summit of Khao Chang Puak. Be prepared for scorching heat and a treacherous ascent, but the breathtaking views from the top make it all worthwhile.

The four-hour hike under the blazing sun is no easy feat, and the steep, rocky path leading to the ridge demands utmost caution. A misstep could prove fatal.

However, those who persevere are rewarded with panoramic vistas that are truly awe-inspiring. Where else can you trek through open forests for half a day and find yourself strolling along a stunning mountain ridge by nightfall?

Capture envy-inducing photos to show off to your friends and create memories that will last a lifetime. Don't hesitate, plan your trip to Khao Chang Puak now while the park is open.

Remember to offer a prayer before calling the park to book your reservation. May your efforts be rewarded with a successful booking and an unforgettable adventure.

This trip is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. We rate it a solid five out of five skulls!

Episode 14: A Serendipitous Reunion

With gratitude to the divine forces of the universe, our nine-member gang has miraculously found ourselves reunited, names and all (or maybe not quite yet).

Special thanks to our guide for taking care of our accommodation and meals throughout the journey.

Shoutout to the tripod that we lugged around, which finally came in handy for this group photo.

Okay, maybe that's enough thanking… feels like we're recording a thank-you album, haha!

As always, we end with the same question: where to next? If the funds and time allow, we'll be back for another adventure. Until then, cheers!

Notes:
1.) Please note that the story and photos are from a trip taken at the end of 2014. While some information may still be relevant, it is important to check with the park for the most up-to-date information.

2.) Our group was able to join the trip by having one of our members call and reserve a quota and contact the park directly (which was very difficult to do).

3.) For transportation, tents, and food, we contacted a tour company to handle the arrangements. A guide from the company accompanied us on the trip.

4.) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them.

5.) However, it is important to check with the park authorities for the current regulations and updated costs for this year.

6.) I wish you the best of luck in calling and reserving a quota. I highly recommend this trip, as it is truly a beautiful experience.
