For those who love to travel until they run out of money,
We have a way to help you feel better. 😉
Think of it this way: money is a kind of matter.
"Matter does not disappear from the world, it just changes form into happiness."
Does that make you feel better? 😅

Have you ever felt like you want to go somewhere, but you don't know where to go? Well, let's start our journey in a province with beautiful tourist attractions and is considered to have one of the most tourist attractions in Thailand. That's right, Kanchanaburi! (Just kidding, it's actually Kanchanaburi.) Without further ado, let's go!

(Our travel map)

Our first destination was Tiger Cave Temple.

Let's stop by to make merit and bring good luck. Wat Tham Sua is considered to be the temple with the largest Buddha statue in Kanchanaburi province. The beautiful and prominent pagoda can be seen from afar because it is located on a hill. It is another beautiful temple.

Take the tram up.

Or you can walk up.

Let's get started with good luck.

Our next destination is "Thong Pha Phum National Park," where we aim to embrace the mist and cool air amidst the valleys. Before embarking on our journey, we must ensure we have sufficient provisions, as the national park is located far from the Thong Pha Phum district. There is a convenience store available within the park (open from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM).

Food made to order + Drinks + Snacks

It is recommended to purchase food supplies from Thong Pha Phum District (the park allows cooking, but we must maintain cleanliness).

The road leading to the park is paved, but the shoulders may be damaged in some places. The road is also steep and winding, with many sharp curves. Therefore, it is important to drive carefully.

Upon arrival, please contact the park authorities and pay the park entrance fee.

The park offers accommodation in the form of bungalows and campsites. We opted to rent a tent and sleeping bags.

It was already evening when we arrived. Without wasting any time, we quickly set up our tents.

We chose to pitch our tents at the Noen Chang Phuak campsite. The air grew colder as night fell, creating a delightful atmosphere. We were not disappointed with our decision to climb the mountain.

After settling into the accommodation,

Grilling pork in the cool air is the best.

The experience of sitting and eating while watching the sunset is incredibly enjoyable.

The morning mist shrouded the valley, creating a serene atmosphere. After enjoying the scenery, we took a leisurely stroll through the park.

After walking for a while,

Return to collect the tent and belongings, and return the tent to the park.

The next destination, Jork Ka Din Waterfall, is located near U-Yan.

A single-tier waterfall cascading over a 30-meter cliff. The waterfall's unique feature is a large pool of water with a blue-green hue. Notably, the water is refreshingly cold.

After walking for a while,

Arrived.

After admiring the beauty for a while, we continued our journey.

The next destination, Itong Village and Pilok Mine, is approximately 13 kilometers from Thong Pha Phum National Park. The journey is filled with numerous curves, earning Pilok the nickname "The Village of 399 Curves."

Lush forests and rolling hills surround both sides of the road, allowing you to breathe in the fresh air deeply.

Pilok was once a bustling tin mining town on the Tenasserim Hills, which forms the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Although there are no longer any mines in the village, it has become a place of happiness and friendship between the two countries.

Continue to visit the Pilok Mine.

Take a deep breath and continue your journey.

Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of the valley, the scenic viewpoint of Khao Chang Suk offers panoramic vistas of the surrounding hills. It also houses the "General Tawan Rungsi Monument," a tribute to the heroic deeds of General Tawan Rungsi, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash in the Kaeng Krachan Forest in 2011. This momentous event marked a significant loss for Thailand.

Our next destination is "Sangkhla Buri". On the way, we passed the Wachiralongkorn Dam.

A large dam, the fourth largest in Thailand, offering stunning views of the reservoir from the dam crest.

Continuing our journey, we stopped to admire the scenic beauty along the way. We entered the Khao Laem National Park, where the Pom Pee Viewpoint is located. This viewpoint is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views, romantic ambiance, and status as one of the most stunning sunset spots in the western region. It offers a relaxing experience without excessive difficulty, surrounded by a tranquil atmosphere. From here, one can gaze upon the vast expanse of the reservoir within the Vachiralongkorn Dam, with the mountainous landscape stretching far into the distance.

Continuing our journey, we stopped for a bite to eat before reaching our accommodation. There was a local market near the bridge.

Have a bite before we continue.

Scored a goal.

Let's have some tea and then we'll continue.

After checking in to our accommodation, we eagerly awaited the opportunity to explore the stunning beauty of the bridge the following day.

In the early morning, we walked out onto the bridge.

Sangkhlaburi, home to the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, the Mon Bridge, spanning approximately 1 kilometer. The bridge was constructed under the initiative of Luang Pho Uttama, aiming to facilitate interaction and foster relationships between Thai, Karen, and Mon communities.

The weather is pleasant today with rain.

The history of the Mon Bridge, as told by a young tour guide. Stop and listen for a moment, she's very talented.

Let's make merit together.

Let's grab a hot cup of tea and then continue our walk.

Would you like to apply some powder?

Let me tell you about it.

After going down, the path to climb back up was even steeper than the jump down.

After enjoying the view, we continued our journey.

The ultimate goal of the trip is:

Erawan Waterfall is another beautiful waterfall, divided into 7 large tiers. Each tier is stunning and lush, with crystal-clear water reflecting an emerald green hue. We were determined to conquer the 7th tier of Erawan Waterfall. After a short walk, we arrived.

The park provides tents, sleeping bags, blankets, and sleeping mats for those who wish to stay overnight.

Let's go and conquer the 7th floor!

Floor plans

We walked around admiring each beautiful floor. Since it was raining on the day we visited, we weren't able to capture every floor, only the 5th, 6th, and 7th.

The Journey to Erawan's Seventh Tier: A Rewarding Climb Through Cascading Beauty

The day's journey was marked by persistent rain, making the ascent to Erawan's summit a tiring endeavor. However, the sight of each cascading tier, each boasting its own unique charm, fueled our determination to reach the seventh level. Upon reaching the final tier, fatigue seemed to vanish as we were greeted by crystal-clear waters teeming with fish. The arduous climb was undoubtedly worth it, as conquering Erawan's seven tiers offered a truly unforgettable experience.

It's time to return to Bangkok. The fun is over.

Although this post may not be very informative, we hope it will inspire everyone to embark on a journey to discover beautiful things. We want everyone to know that the destination may not be the most beautiful thing, but along the way you may find something even more beautiful than you ever imagined. :_)

Go out, anywhere, just go. Take a break, working all the time is tiring. Go out and find new inspiration, new things for yourself.

Those who love to travel until they run out of money.

We have ways to help you feel better. 😉

Consider money as a type of matter.

"Matter does not disappear from the world, it merely transforms into happiness."

Is this better? 😅
