Lazy Coup takes you on a journey through the vibrant pink lotus sea in Udon Thani 🌸🌷🌺

During this New Year's break, we ventured into the northeastern region of Thailand to experience the unseen wonders of the country.

The red lotus sea in Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province, was once only seen in pictures. In reality, it is so magnificent! ❤️💗

I woke up early today because it is a long weekend and I am unfamiliar with the area.

Following Google Maps, we arrived at Chiang Haeo Pier at 6:00 AM.

Another important reason to wake up early is because the lotus flower is shy. 🌸 In the late morning, it closes and no longer shows itself.

**Please arrive before noon. The afternoon session is fully booked. Please note this information.

Boat rental costs 400 baht per round, with a capacity of approximately 8 people (that's only 50 baht per person!).

A single lap takes 1-2 hours. If you have pets, you can bring them on board.

From the shore, the full grandeur of the place remains hidden.

The only way to experience its beauty is by taking a boat ride.

In my opinion, if you come to [location] and don't take a boat ride, you're missing out.

Just past this bend, you'll find a world of pink. <3

This is just the beginning of the trip. The reflection of the clouds and lotus flowers on the water's surface is as beautiful as a mirror. ^___^

The lotus flowers are not yet in full bloom. It is recommended to follow the crowd and move forward.

The boats sped along in a close formation.

Along the way, you will see lotus flowers floating on the water waves.

After a short walk, you will find a temple on the island.

Visitors are welcome to visit the temple to pay respects to the Buddha, make offerings, or donate to the monks.

This island offers scenic viewpoints for capturing stunning photographs.

The observation point offers a panoramic view of the bustling harbor, where boats depart and arrive throughout the day.

During the New Year period, there were a lot of people. The boats were lined up as far as the eye could see.

There are a lot of lotus flowers.

After strolling around the top for a while, we stopped the boat to take a closer look at the red lotus flowers.
