The crystal-clear waters of Koh Lipe left a lasting impression on me. I captured some photos on my phone, which may not be as professional as others, but I wanted to share my experience in the southern Andaman Sea. I flew directly from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai.

Embarking at Pak Bara Pier in Satun Province. There were quite a few people.

The boat trip from Pak Bara costs around 500-600 baht per person. The boat will stop at Tarutao Island and Khai Island for photo opportunities. The national park entrance fee is 40 baht per person, which grants access to all parks.

We have arrived at Tarutao Island.

The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the fish swimming below. Informative signs guide visitors through the area's attractions.

The boat then stopped at Koh Kai, where the water was crystal clear and beautiful.

A vast, pristine beach.

Departing from Koh Kai, we boarded a long-tail boat to reach our accommodation. This trip, we stayed at Adang Island, which is located opposite Koh Lipe and easily accessible by boat. A roundtrip ferry ride between the two islands costs approximately 200 baht per person.

On the way to Adang Island

Very juicy.

I have arrived at my accommodation. I am staying at the Ko Adang National Park guesthouse, which costs around 600 baht per night for a bungalow on weekends. It is cheaper on weekdays.

The accommodation is in good condition. However, the electricity is turned on and off at specific times, starting around 6:30 PM. There is no air conditioning, only fans. There is only one restaurant, which also has specific opening and closing times. If you tend to get hungry late at night, it is advisable to bring snacks.

Adang Island is a peaceful paradise with crystal-clear waters. The lack of crowds creates a sense of having a private beach, offering a relaxing and uncrowded atmosphere.

Crystal clear water, beautiful sandy beaches, and remarkably clean waves.

Waking up early in the morning, I hiked up to Chado Cliff to enjoy a panoramic view of Koh Lipe. I let my girlfriend climb up as it was quite steep and challenging. There were three viewpoints in total, which left me breathless.

A top view from above shows the beautiful island of Koh Lipe.

Disembarking from the cliff, we will continue our journey to the 9 Islands Tour. This tour utilizes the services of Bang Yuri's speedboat, which, based on reviews on Pantip, is highly recommended. The service is excellent, and the 9 Islands tour lasts the entire day for approximately 2,500 baht, which is exceptional value. Bang skillfully navigates us away from crowded areas, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Our first stop is a snorkeling session at Jabang Channel, renowned for its stunning seven-colored coral reefs. (Unfortunately, underwater photos are unavailable due to the lack of a camera.)

Our boat was the first to arrive, having set off early around 8:30 AM. Upon arrival, we immediately began diving.

The water is so clear that you can see fish without even diving. Next, we'll head to "Ao Ruea Bo" (Ao Ruea Bo Bay).

Crystal clear.

Fish can be seen.

From Ao Rue Bo, we continued to Ao Song, my favorite spot. The coral reefs and fish were incredibly abundant and beautiful.

Looking down from the boat, I could see it.

Let's continue to White Sand Beach (Koh Rawi). It's my favorite island.

The first island we reached had a very private atmosphere. We had to compliment the local guide. We had lunch here. Bang Yuri recommended that we not bring our own food. It was simple food: sticky rice, papaya salad, and hot fried chicken. It was delicious and not expensive. Six pieces of fried chicken cost about 120 baht per plate.

On the island of Ravi, a friendly local dog named Panda eagerly ran to greet us.

While waiting for the food, we took a walk, took some photos, and relaxed.

As we sat down to eat, a curious monkey peeked at us. The monkeys here are not aggressive and did not bother us. They simply observed from a distance.

Our bellies were full, and the boats started to arrive in large numbers. We then continued to the next island, Koh Rok Loi.

After a short walk, you can take photos and enjoy the view. After playing in the water, you can continue to the stacked rocks.

Stop by for a photo at Hin Sorn Island, there is no diving spot.

From the boat, you can see many small fish. There are many beautiful underwater fire corals here.

After diving, let's continue to Hin Ngam Island to admire the beautiful rocks.

We have arrived at the beautiful island with smooth, round rocks.

After finishing diving, it was just the right time to cool down. We didn't go to Ko Yang because Bang Yuri said there were a lot of jellyfish around, and their stings hurt. We returned to our accommodation on Ko Adang.

Stroll around the island and watch the sunset.

Sunset at Adang

Time to sleep, nap for a bit.

A cup of seafood porridge for breakfast to whet your appetite costs 80 baht. The food at the park tastes good, but the kitchen is open and closed at specific times. If you are hungry, you have to wait a while.

If you have young children, please bring snacks for them to eat while waiting for the kitchen to open. The kitchen opens at 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

I am currently walking around the island, waiting for the boat to pick me up and return me to the mainland. The boat is scheduled to arrive around 8:30 AM.

The abundance of horseshoe crabs at Ao Adang is a testament to the pristine condition of the natural environment. Their presence serves as a bioindicator of a healthy ecosystem. The crabs' undisturbed habitat reflects the minimal human impact on the area, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts in preserving such delicate ecosystems.

Around the island in the morning.

The boat has arrived to pick us up. On the way back, all the tourists fainted. 5555
