Hello, I am Seally-Go-Round the seal.

Today, I didn't go far. I came to find a cute homemade ice cream cafe, a shop that I've been following for a long time. I like the mood and tone of the photos, and the ice cream menu is also very stylish. It's homemade ice cream served with Thai desserts. It's great.

This is a Farm to Table restaurant. (Many people have been here, but I haven't had the chance to come yet.)

Taking advantage of the Chinese New Year celebrations at my grandparents' house near Pak Khlong Talat and Ban Mo, I snuck away during the red envelope distribution. Being old, I didn't expect to receive one anyway, and with dozens of nephews and nieces around, I figured I'd make a quick escape for some ice cream. Whew!

The two cafes are located near each other, behind Pak Khlong Talat Market, an unexpected location for such charming cafes.

Start at Farm to Table Organic Cafe

Located at the corner of the street, along the bank of the canal.

The small room inside can accommodate no more than 10 people. There is limited seating available outside.

A very, very small shop.

This homemade ice cream boasts unique flavors unlike those found in other ice cream shops. This is a particular favorite, as I enjoy Thai-inspired ice cream flavors. Most ice cream shops offer vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and fruit sorbet flavors, which I am not particularly fond of.

Encountering flavors here: black sesame, pumpkin, and young rice leaves. Delighted!

The menu is as follows, everything looks delicious. There is also coffee available.

The food looks delicious with its vibrant colors. There are also rice dishes available.

Today, I tried black sesame ice cream with young rice leaves (1 scoop 40.- / 2 scoops 75.-).

I personally love black sesame seeds.

Rich, black sesame aroma, not too sweet. The pandan leaf flavor is a bit weak.

This shop's ice cream scoops are perfectly round and smooth, with a dense texture that leaves no air pockets.

Next time, I plan to try the green tea affogato.

🍵 Some of the "lod chong" look delicious, I want to try them all!

However, after two scoops of ice cream, I started to feel full. Nevertheless, I had to save some space for another shop, which was no more than 100 meters away. Walking through the side of the market, I entered a small alleyway. The shop was located in the middle of the lane.

FARM to TABLE Hide out

Tucked away in a hidden alley, Hide Out lives up to its name. Kudos to the owner for their bold decision to open in such a secluded spot. It takes a certain kind of cool to venture into this nook, but judging by the steady stream of customers on this weekday morning, the gamble has paid off.

This newly opened restaurant is larger and has more seating than the one next door.

The store is decorated in a beautiful warm wooden tone.

Adorable door handle. ^^

I like this picture.

Are we really in a small alley in the Pak Khlong Talat area? Although I grew up in this area, I feel unfamiliar with the atmosphere of this restaurant nestled in the old Chinese community.

This gelato shop offers a unique selection of flavors, featuring creative combinations of ice cream and traditional Thai desserts. Some notable examples include: ice cream with crispy water chestnuts, ice cream with pumpkin cake, ice cream with puffed rice, ice cream with sweet dumplings, and ice cream with tofu pudding and toppings.

This is an adorable and endearing pairing that embodies a universally appealing Thai aesthetic. The creativity is truly impressive.

The ice cream here is gelato, which differs from regular ice cream in several ways. It has less butterfat, a smoother texture, less air incorporated into the mixture, and a softer consistency than regular ice cream.

The flavors are all homemade, with each ingredient carefully selected for its health benefits. From soy milk to red beans, grass jelly, coconut, butterfly pea flower, and mixed berry sorbet, each flavor is a delicious and nutritious treat.

Health-conscious dessert lovers will surely appreciate this guilt-free treat.

I just had two scoops of soft tofu ice cream with toppings for 72 baht.

A scoop of smooth, subtly-sweet tofu gelato served with visually appealing and healthy tofu toppings. This treat is perfect for those observing a vegetarian diet and offers a healthy indulgence.

Delicious, with a wide variety of ingredients. I loved it! I'll definitely be back to try other menu items next time.

It's time to go back and eat the duck and chicken that were offered to the gods. My nephews and nieces are already calling to claim their red envelopes...hehe.

Those seeking delightful and healthy organic ice cream, beverages, and snacks can visit Farm to Table. Both locations are conveniently situated near each other. If unfamiliar with the area, simply search for "Farm to Table organic cafe" on Google Maps. Once there, inquire about the location of Hide Out, which is situated within the same alley. Discovering one establishment will inevitably lead you to the other.

Parking is likely limited to streetside along the riverbank. The Land Department area may have some parking spaces available, but be cautious of wheel clamping.

The Old Siam Plaza parking lot is located far away. Parking fees are a bit expensive, but it's a safe option. Be aware that the police in this area are quick to clamp the wheels of illegally parked vehicles.

The shop is open from 10 am to 9 pm, closed on Wednesdays. If you're free, come and have some ice cream to escape the heat. See you in the next review! ^^
