Looking for a stylish, peaceful, and private homestay? Come stay at 'Baan Nai Mong'.

Located deep in Soi Phetkasem 1 (next to Caltex gas station), there are 3 lovely houses, 3 different styles, and 1 glamping tent.

Surrounded by trees and a stream, it's a perfect getaway.

A one-night stay feels like a long recharge.

What are the expenses for a 2-day, 1-night stay at 'Baan Nai Mong'? Let's see..

1. Round-trip bus fare from Bangkok (Sai Tai Mai) to Ranong: 940 baht.

(We booked with Sombut Tour, super bus, 470 baht each way.)

2. Motorcycle/shared taxi fare from Ranong Bus Terminal to Baan Nai Mong: 200 baht.

(100 baht/person/trip)

3. Room rate for Baan Rabeang Mai (including breakfast): 2,650 baht/2 people.

(1,325 baht/person)

4. Local dinner set: 550 baht/2 people (optional)

** Total: 2,740 baht/person **

From Ranong Bus Terminal, we called a motorbike taxi.

It picked us up in Soi Phetkasem 1, next to the Caltex gas station, opposite Big C.

We rode for about 2 kilometers, passing the Seven Pipes Monastery.

The entrance to 'Baan Nai Mong' is on the left, marked by an orange fence with no signs.

For peace and privacy, please respect the quiet.

The entrance with a flowing stream is a welcoming sight.

It seems to say that upon entering this area,

we will encounter nature and tranquility.

Check-in and understand the accommodation details first.

This is where we can contact for various 'additional services'.

For example, local dinner boxes, bicycle rentals (150 baht/day/bike),

natural hot spring bath (500 baht/day) and seafood barbecue

(1,500 baht/2-3 people, must inform 1 day in advance).

Another thing is that 'Baan Nai Mong' is an Eco Homestay.

Alcohol and pets are not allowed.

P.S. The dog in the picture belongs to the owner.

Two women walked around the room,

This room also has a mezzanine level, perfect for accommodating 3 guests.

No need to squeeze together, and you can even take photos from a high angle.

The Little Details Matter

The owner of this room hasn't overlooked the small details.

While there's no TV, there is a CD player and Wi-Fi available.

I love it! The room is so cute!

Especially when you open the balcony and see the stream, it's even better.

But I have to say that one of the disadvantages of this place

is that there are quite a lot of insects, especially black ants in the bathroom.

Although they are not dangerous, if you go outside the room

I recommend not leaving the balcony/windows open.

(Typical of being close to nature, haha)

Next up is the 'Water Balcony House', which is priced the same as the Wooden Balcony House.

The difference is that the Water Balcony House is closer to the stream, while the Wooden Balcony House

is closer to the vegetable garden. However, in terms of cuteness, they are both equally charming.

You can cross the bridge and sit on the other side.

From our balcony at the water's edge, we explored the surrounding area. Interconnected walkways led to various points, each offering shade and scenic beauty. The meticulous design of the space was evident.

Arrival at the "Pine Cabin"

We have arrived at the "Pine Cabin," a charming room equipped with a fan. The bathroom is separate from the cabin, offering privacy and convenience. A major advantage of this room is its proximity to the treehouse and the hot spring bath. In short, the view from here is simply breathtaking!

The owner, Mr. Golf, mentioned plans to build additional treehouses on the opposite side of the property next year. He expressed confidence in the outcome and encouraged guests to return for another stay. In the meantime, he suggested exploring the existing treehouses.

The canvas tents are also fan rooms.

They are the same price as the wooden cabins and are located nearby, but they offer a different feel.

Having explored the entire accommodation, it's time to relax.

It's dinner time already!

Today's menu includes fried fish, stir-fried pork with red curry paste, stir-fried liver with oyster sauce, pickled cabbage soup, and steaming hot rice.

After finishing our meal, we sat on the balcony with our legs dangling, chatting.

The sky began to darken, and the air gradually cooled.

The sound of flowing water, birdsong, and the faint chirping of insects filled the air.

When we were bored, we could go and play in the common area.

They had turned on the cute lights, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

I returned to my room and tossed and turned for a while before falling asleep.

It was the most comfortable sleep I've ever had because

I didn't have to deal with any chaos or headaches.

I was able to sleep in a stylish room and be close to nature.

Waking up to eat rice porridge and hot tea was the best!

That's all for my 2 days and 1 night trip at 'Baan Nai Mong' in Ranong.

I hope this review will be helpful for those who are interested in staying here.
