I often find time to travel to the countryside, find a quiet place, take a walk, and take photos to relax. But this time, I decided to break away from the norm and find happiness in the heart of the capital. It really gave me a different feeling.

Two years ago, I had the opportunity to stay at the Double Tree By Hilton Sukhumvit, which is a sister brand of the Hilton Sukhumvit. This time, I had the chance to stay at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, which I believe has an excellent location. It is situated in the heart of the business district, surrounded by shopping malls, and is also close to the green space of Benjasiri Park.

Nestled in the heart of Sukhumvit Soi 24, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok offers a convenient escape from the bustling city. To avoid the notorious Bangkok traffic, opt for the BTS Skytrain and alight at Phrom Phong Station. Take Exit 4 and descend the stairs, where you will find the entrance to Sukhumvit Soi 24. A short stroll of approximately 150 meters will lead you to the hotel, situated on your left.

This sign indicates that you have arrived. Outside the hotel, you can see a long green wall of trees running parallel to the building, creating a refreshing view.

Stepping through the entrance, a spacious lobby unfolds before you. To the left, a Concierge desk awaits, but what truly catches your eye are the voluptuous male and female statues welcoming you.

This sculpture of a man and a woman represents the protagonists, who are the main characters driving the narrative of the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.

"Jay," an Italian young man who grew up in America since childhood, enjoys seeking new experiences and decided to explore the Asian continent, choosing Thailand as his starting point.

Daisy, an American social worker who had never traveled abroad, decided to leave her hectic life in New York City and start anew in Thailand with her beloved dog, Mali.

Jay and Daisy first crossed paths when Jasmine, Daisy's dog, barked in the lobby. Jay, searching for the source of the sound, encountered Daisy, and their eyes met, sparking an instant connection.

The lobby is spacious and visually appealing, offering comfortable seating areas for guests to relax while waiting for check-in or check-out.

The Lobby offers a complimentary welcome drink of orange juice.

The guest seating area is spacious and inviting, with a variety of colorful chairs that add a vibrant touch to the space.

This corner is for guests to purchase souvenirs and bakery items to take home. There is also an ATM machine on the side.

Mr. Jay and Ms. Daisy can be found around the hotel.

During this stay, I stayed in the Executive King Bed room. Executive guests check in at the Executive Lounge, located on the 4th floor. When we arrived at the Lobby on the 1st floor to check in, a staff member escorted us to the Executive Lounge.

The hotel's interior design is luxurious and stylish, offering countless photo opportunities.

A sign in front of the elevator indicates the location of various hotel amenities on different floors.

To access the elevator, please tap your key card on the reader inside the elevator car before pressing your desired floor.

The elevator opens on the 4th floor, where the Executive Lounge is located. It is open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Upon entering, the Executive Lounge and Hilton Honors Diamond members' check-in is located on the left-hand side.

Staff are ready to welcome you.

The decor is in brown tones, giving it a luxurious feel.

The space offers a variety of seating options, including a green sofa facing a glass wall that reveals a small conference room behind it.

Executive guests can enjoy complimentary access to meeting rooms for up to 2 hours. There are a total of 3 meeting rooms available.

A dedicated workspace is available, equipped with computers, Wi-Fi, and a printer for your convenience.

For guests who wish to smoke, a designated smoking area is available on the outdoor balcony. The hotel has thoughtfully prepared this space, which features a unique design element: a wall constructed from thousands of bottles.

The green corner softens the rigidity of the wall made from bottles.

Let's explore the benefits that Executive guests will receive.

Daily Breakfast Hours

The daily breakfast buffet is served from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays and from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM on weekends. I will provide a detailed review of the breakfast offerings later in this review.

The afternoon tea service is available from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and includes snacks, tea, coffee, fruit juices, and soft drinks. As your check-in time coincides with the afternoon tea service, you can enjoy a relaxing cup of tea upon arrival.

The period from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM is the Evening Cocktails period. During this time, there are quite a lot of guests using the service.

In addition to the aforementioned, beverages and fruits are also available. Additionally, complimentary Wi-Fi is provided for Executive guests.

Let's take a look at the room. Tonight, I'm staying in an Executive King Bed room.

Upon entering the room, the front zone comprises a bathroom and a wardrobe. The bathroom is located behind a large glass sliding door.

The bathroom is spacious and well-designed, with a clear separation between the wet and dry areas. A sink is located in the center, and there is a chair for added convenience. However, it is important to note that the toilet does not have a bidet spray.

The wet area features both a bathtub and a shower. The bathroom is open-plan with a view of the bed area. For privacy, electric curtains can be closed.

The bath product has a pleasant fragrance. However, the bottle is a bit small.

The ironing board and iron are located in the wardrobe opposite the bathroom.

The mini bar, as shown, offers two complimentary bottles of water.

Amenities include a standard hotel kettle, tea, coffee, safe, bathrobe, hairdryer, and slippers.

The bed and pillows were incredibly soft. There was also a small Daisy Duck statue in the room.

The living area features a leather armchair, perfect for relaxing while watching TV or enjoying the view outside. The armchair is incredibly comfortable.

The hotel provides a dedicated workspace with a variety of amenities, including a stapler and paper clips conveniently placed in small boxes for easy access.

The room is spacious and clean. The wardrobe and bathroom areas have tiled floors, while the sleeping area is carpeted.

The hotel offers a variety of amenities for guests, including a swimming pool and fitness center on the 26th floor.

The swimming pool is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It could be called a sky pool, as you can swim and enjoy the beautiful view of the city skyline, including the Emporium.

The LAPSE bar offers snacks and refreshing cocktails, with stylish corners perfect for capturing photos to share with friends.

The fitness center is accessible 24/7 with a key card and is conveniently located next to the swimming pool. While the space is not overly large, it offers a decent selection of exercise equipment. However, the most impressive feature is the stunning view. On one side, you can admire the swimming pool, while the other side offers a breathtaking view of the cityscape. This truly captivating view is a highlight of the fitness center.

Another interesting feature is the unique signage outside the restrooms, featuring images of underwear and bras. This quirky design caught my attention, and I couldn't resist capturing it with my camera.

The Hilton Sukhumvit has two restaurants, excluding the Executive Lounge's dining area. For dinner, I dined at Mondo, located on the first floor near the lobby.

Mondo, meaning "world" in Italian, offers a unique Asian-Mediterranean culinary experience. The restaurant features an open kitchen concept, allowing diners to witness the chefs expertly prepare their dishes.

Inside Mondo, there is a suitcase containing Jay's belongings from America, brought with him for his new experience in Thailand. In total, I would estimate there are hundreds of items. Additionally, there are two giant gemstones that Jay purchased for Daisy as a token of his unwavering love for her.

In addition to hundreds of suitcases, the menu here is designed as a passport, truly capturing the spirit of a traveler.

Begin with Cocktails

The main course arrived shortly after we sat down. It started with the Crackling pork leg roast, served with salad and mashed potatoes. I spent quite a while taking pictures of each dish, but I must say, even after all that time, the skin of the pork leg remained crispy.

Another menu is Spinach Salad, which is a spinach salad mixed with large shrimps, diced ripe mangoes, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, feta cheese, and White balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The taste is considered okay. It can cut the greasiness from the pork knuckle very well.

I surrender to these two dishes. The pork leg is quite large.

The dessert course concludes with a Mango and sticky rice mille feuille. The bottom layer is a combination of white and black sticky rice (the black sticky rice adds a slight crunch). Topped with ripe Nam Dok Mai mango slices, a layer of crispy bread, and mango ice cream with mango chunks throughout. This dish is a refreshing way to end the meal.

The overall taste of the food is acceptable. The pork leg may be a bit greasy if eaten in large quantities, but the salad helps to balance it out.

Before going to bed, I decided to take a walk to digest my food. I went up to the 26th floor, where the swimming pool is located, to enjoy the high-angle view and admire the beauty of the city at night.

In the evening, there were very few customers. I think the evening is a great time to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

LAPSE in the evening

It is not often that I get to enjoy such a high-angle view of the city. After soaking in the atmosphere of the evening, I think I should go home and take a shower before bed.

Relax in the warm water, stretch your muscles, and enjoy the view of the city lights at night in the room for a little longer.

Awaiting me at my desk was a plate of macarons, thoughtfully left for me to enjoy before bed.

The bed and pillows were incredibly soft, I would love to take them home with me.

Another morning, let's go up to the 26th floor to breathe in the fresh air and get some vitamin D.

The morning atmosphere is fantastic. I can't help but envy Jay and Daisy for witnessing the sunrise every day.

I like the idea of the tree on the wall there. The vines are shaped into a large tree, which is very stylish.

Many foreign tourists have come to enjoy the morning view. As the sun rises, it's time for breakfast.

Breakfast will be served at two locations: Scalini Restaurant, which will be open to all guests, and the Executive Lounge, which will be exclusive to Executive guests.

Let's first take a look at the Scalini restaurant, located on the 2nd floor.

The area in front of the elevator is decorated in a charmingly retro style. Vintage items such as sewing machines, wooden buckets, typewriters, and rice sacks are tastefully arranged, creating a nostalgic ambiance.

Let's take a look inside the restaurant. Scalini, which means "staircase" in Italian, is an Italian-American restaurant inspired by the 1920s and 1930s, when Italian immigrants brought their cuisine to New York City. The interior features dark brown and black tones. Scalini is open from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

The corner wall is designed as a wine cellar. I really like the decoration here. It looks expensive, luxurious, and has a clear style.

This section features a stylish and captivating design of the New York City skyline.

Enjoy the refreshing greenery.

Let's take a look at the breakfast line. This corner features a variety of fresh salads.

Scalini restaurant features an open kitchen design, allowing guests to observe the chefs as they prepare their meals.

This corner offers a wide variety of breads, as well as noodles.

Egg station.

The main food line is located in this corner, next to the open kitchen.

There is also rice wrapped in seaweed.

Duck, cheese, ham, and various other ingredients are beautifully arranged.

Thai Food Corner

This section features a variety of fruits and toppings.

To conclude, there is a fruit juice corner.

The name "Scalini" likely originates from the winding staircase that leads from the first to the third floor at the front of the Scalini restaurant.

Adjacent to Scalini Restaurant, there is another unmissable corner. Let's take a look.

The Study Room offers a similar atmosphere to a library, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.

Let's take a look at the Executive Lounge's breakfast room. Head up to the 4th floor.

The breakfast menu is a scaled-down version of the Scalini restaurant's offerings.

After breakfast, I would like to sit on this leather chair in my room and enjoy a cup of coffee while reading a book and admiring the view outside the room for a while longer. I want to savor every moment before checking out.

During my two-day, one-night stay at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, I experienced exceptional comfort and convenience. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel's stylish design offered numerous photo opportunities. For those who enjoy sharing photos on social media, this hotel is a must-visit. The staff's warm smiles and attentive service further enhanced my stay.

The breakfast at the Hilton could be improved.

Please note that complimentary Wi-Fi is not available in guest rooms for non-Executive guests. However, free Wi-Fi is accessible in all public areas and restaurants.

In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok for providing me with such a wonderful experience.
