Hello everyone!
I'm back with another travel blog, this time revisiting a trip from last year. With summer in full swing, I know many of you are itching to hit the beach, dive into the ocean, and explore the wonders of the coral reefs. So, I'm sharing some information about a fantastic destination that might just be your next dream vacation.
Lipe Island:
This island's name is synonymous with crystal-clear waters. You can literally see the vibrant sea anemones from your boat! No wonder many international tourists call it the "Maldives of Thailand." Naturally, I had to experience this paradise for myself. However, the high cost of living and accommodation forced me to embrace my inner backpacker. I booked a one-day diving trip with Gecko Lipe and grabbed some delicious street food on Walking Street.

Unfortunately, I didn't take many photos on this trip as I fell ill upon arrival. But trust me, Lipe Island is a true gem waiting to be discovered.
For this trip, we chose to take an early morning flight with Nok Air to Hat Yai.
Booked a van and ferry with Easylipe, departing at 11:00 AM. We only stopped at Koh Kai (due to heavy rain in Tarutao National Marine Park).
Upon arriving at the island, we immediately went to find our booked accommodation, Gecko Lipe. It is located on Walking Street, near the Roti Phayuh sign (if you're curious why it's called Phayuh, you'll have to go there yourself).

Take a walk.
This trip was a simple one-day snorkeling trip. I purchased a package that included seven stops (four snorkeling spots) for 650 baht per person. The package also included one meal, one fruit snack, drinks, and snorkeling equipment.
Lipe is considered a great snorkeling destination due to its abundance of sea anemones, thriving soft corals, and colorful Christmas tree worms. I wasn't able to take many photos because the water was quite rough, especially around Koh Phing, which is home to a large number of soft corals, small sea anemones, and sea anemones.
The first point of interest is Hin Sorn Island.
This image depicts Bamboo Island, renowned for its abundance of flame coral, locally known as "chimney coral." Due to the shallow depth of only 2 meters, divers must exercise caution to avoid damaging the coral while exploring its beauty.
Let's stop by Koh Rok Loi (pronounced "Ro-kloy", not "Rok-loy").
The water is so clear that you can see the coral reefs even from far away.
After that, we went to Jabang Canal to see the famous seven-color coral, but unfortunately, it was not in full bloom, so we couldn't get any pictures. Let's just watch the clip. That's all I saw. - -"
On the way back, we watched the sunset from Pattaya Beach, but we couldn't see it fully. If you want to see it fully, you have to go to Sunset Beach.
Bidding farewell with a glimpse of the "Orangutan of the Sea," a juvenile orangutan at Koh Lipe.
