This review details the Skyboss service offered by Vietjet Air, focusing on a roundtrip journey from Bangkok to Da Nang, Vietnam. The review covers the check-in process, airport transfers, and the overall flight experience. Additionally, it includes information on purchasing a local SIM card, aiming to assist travelers in planning their own trips.

Check-in at Suvarnabhumi Airport:

The review begins at the Skyboss dedicated check-in counter at Suvarnabhumi Airport, highlighting the streamlined process for premium passengers.

In addition to the flight ticket and baggage tag, we will also receive a Louis' Tavern CIP Lounge service card, which can be used once per person. You can choose the service point at your convenience. This time, I chose the area near Gate F1-F6 (as indicated by the red arrow) because it is the closest to the boarding gate.

The lounge is compact, bright, clean, tidy, and very quiet. Seating options include standard chairs, bar stools, and sofas. Food offerings include sandwiches with various fillings, fried eggs, sausages, fried rice, soup, bread, cakes, and fruit. Beverages range from plain water to fruit juices, soft drinks, tea, coffee, liquor, beer, and wine, with mixers available for self-service.

Upon boarding, Skyboss passengers will receive priority access and a private car pick-up service.

Skyboss passengers will be seated in the first row, and their carry-on luggage will be collected by staff and stored for them, eliminating the need for lifting.

Upon being seated, guests will be offered refreshing water and a cool towel.

During the flight, passengers will be served hot meals with a variety of menu options to choose from. Beverages are also available, with the exception of alcoholic drinks.

The flight from Bangkok to the city takes just over an hour.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), also known as Ho Chi Minh City Airport, Skyboss passengers will be the first to disembark and be greeted by a private car waiting for them.

The airport is relatively small and easy to navigate, with clear signage throughout. After the escalator, turn left to reach immigration. Thai citizens do not require a visa or any entry documents for Vietnam. Simply present your passport for a smooth and convenient entry process.

After passing through immigration, you will find yourself in a similar situation as at Don Mueang Airport. You can either take the escalator down and exit to the left or right to claim your luggage (be sure to keep your luggage tag sticker handy, as there may be checks to ensure your luggage matches the tag), or you can simply walk straight out of the airport terminal.

There is a point of sale for liquor and cigarettes near the exit.

After passing through customs, do not exit the building immediately. Instead, proceed to the designated area for tourist services, which is restricted to travelers only. If you do not require these services, you may exit the building directly.

Passengers arriving on international flights will find themselves entering Ho Chi Minh City proper between pillars 8 and 9. From this point, they can hail a taxi for onward travel.

For this trip, Ronaldo's destination was Da Nang, so he had to use Vietjet Air's domestic flight service again. To get to the domestic airport, walk to the right, which is the way to pillar 10.

Near the 13th pillar, there will be a map and a sign to reassure you that you are on the right track.

At the 15th pillar, which is the last one in the international airport section, there will be a walkway leading to the domestic airport.

The domestic airport is conveniently located near a smooth walkway, making it easy to walk and pull your luggage comfortably.

A leisurely five-minute walk will bring you to the domestic terminal.

The entrance to the Vietjet Air check-in counters is located at Gate D3. Look for the self-service check-in kiosks.

You can now join the queue to check in.

Skyboss passengers enjoy exclusive privileges, including a dedicated check-in lane, priority boarding, and access to a private lounge.

Once ready, you can proceed through the airport security checkpoint using the dedicated lane for VIPs, CIPs, Crew, and Staff.

The SASCO Business Class Lounge is located at Gate 11.

The interior is bright, clean, and tidy, with Wi-Fi and computers available for use. The seating consists of large sofas, and there are books and a TV. The food selection includes ham, cheese, bread, porridge, vegetable salad, various Vietnamese dishes, pastries, and fresh fruit. Drinks include water, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, and wine.

The lounge is just a 2-3 minute walk from the departure gate.

In the event of using the passenger aircraft boarding bridge, Skyboss will have the right to board first.

Ho Chi Minh City is very large, I must find an opportunity to visit it.

Customize your in-flight dining experience with a wide selection of menu options.

Opt for the beef rice, featuring mildly seasoned ground beef that requires a drizzle of soy garlic sauce to enhance its flavor profile, adding a distinct sweet, savory, and salty dimension that elevates the overall taste experience.

This flight offers a selection of beers, including Saigon Special, a fragrant Pale Lager with a well-rounded, distinct flavor that is sure to please.

It takes only about an hour to reach Da Nang City.

Upon exiting with your luggage, your journey from Bangkok to Da Nang concludes.

The front of the building houses booths selling SIM cards for mobile phones. Locals informed me that the systems are all the same, so I opted for this provider due to the lack of crowds. They offer SIM card replacement and setup services. In conclusion, for 100,000 Vietnamese Dong (VND), equivalent to approximately 153 Thai Baht, I enjoyed six days of uninterrupted internet access. With this purchase, I was ready to go online in Da Nang.

Arriving on the day of returning to Thailand from Da Nang.

Departures at Da Nang International Airport are located on the upper level of the airport.

The VietJet Air check-in counter at Da Nang Airport is located at the far right-hand side of the airport.

Skyboss passengers pass through the checkpoint by entering the rightmost VIP lane.

The spacious departure hall offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Skyboss passengers can enjoy complimentary access to the Lotus Lounge via the escalator.

Take the escalator to find the Lotus Lounge.

The spacious sofa area offers amenities such as Wi-Fi, computers, a TV, and books. Food options include ham, bread, boiled eggs, instant noodles, Vietnamese cuisine, desserts, and fruits. A variety of non-alcoholic beverages are available.

The boarding gate is just a 2-3 minute walk away.

Despite the long queue, it is inconsequential for Skyboss passengers who always enjoy priority access.

The Khao Niao Song Khrueng (savory sticky rice) features slightly oily sticky rice that is not as chewy as Thai sticky rice. The main flavor comes from the five toppings, each with a distinct taste. The dish is well-executed.

It will not be long before we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.

Skyboss passengers will be invited to disembark first, immediately upon the opening of the aircraft door.

You have now exited the domestic arrivals building. To proceed to the international departures building, please turn left.

Easily observe that you will walk through gate D3.

Retrace the original path, just like the first day.

A clear sign is located at the end of the walkway leading to the international airport terminal.

From the previous sign, walk straight ahead and enter the door following the red arrow. There will be a clear sign, so don't worry.

Take the escalator to the 2nd floor. Be careful not to go up to the 3rd floor, as it is a waiting area and a shop.

Upon reaching the second floor, please exit the building.

Access to the departure terminal is only permitted through the front entrance.

The VietJet Air check-in counter at Ho Chi Minh City Airport is located in the center of the airport.

After clearing immigration, proceed to the Duty Free Shop and take the lift down to the 1st floor to access the Apricot Lounge.

Stunning runway views with both sofa and standard seating. Freshly prepared Vietnamese cuisine, along with desserts and fruits. A wide selection of beverages, including alcoholic options.

A private car will be waiting to take you to the departure gate, just a 5-minute drive from the Apricot Lounge.

This is a flight to return to Thailand.

Prepare drinking water and a cold towel, and then store your bags neatly.

The menu option "Spicy Thai-style Fried Rice" was selected. Despite the name, the dish tasted distinctly Vietnamese, albeit with a bolder, spicier flavor profile. It proved to be a satisfying conclusion to the Vietnam trip.

This flight does not offer alcoholic beverages.
