Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa

While the saying "Hua Hin is the land of shellfish" is well-known, it is also a popular destination for Bangkokians. We have visited Hua Hin countless times, and one of the hotels we frequently return to is the Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa. This resort is ideal for short getaways, as it is only a two-hour drive from Bangkok, allowing for a quick escape to the seaside. Another advantage of this hotel is its location opposite an outlet mall, making it convenient to shop for quality goods at affordable prices before returning to Bangkok. Be careful not to get carried away, as shopping expenses may exceed the cost of the trip itself.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

The expansive swimming pool: a central attraction

The resort boasts an immense swimming pool that serves as a central attraction, encircling the entire property. This impressive feature stretches from the lobby area to the beachfront, with guest rooms flanking its sides. The pool is surrounded by lush green lawns and a restaurant, offering a refreshing oasis for guests who prefer swimming to the ocean. This unique design allows for endless enjoyment, whether you're an avid swimmer or simply seeking a relaxing dip.

Lagoon Access Room

The Lagoon Access Room offers approximately 49 square meters of space and comfortably accommodates four guests. As expected from the Sheraton brand, the beds and pillows are incredibly soft and comfortable. We booked this room specifically for the "wake up and jump in the pool" experience, and it did not disappoint! Simply open the curtains and the sliding glass door leading to the pool, and you're ready for a refreshing dip!

The bathroom is decorated in cream and brown tones, accented with light celadon green tiles, creating a warm and classic atmosphere befitting the Sheraton brand. Amenities are provided, including lotion, soap, shower gel, shampoo, comb, hair cap, and more.

The room is spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating two more people. It features a bathtub for relaxing soaks and a shower for those who prefer a more invigorating experience.

The guests here are a mix of Thai and foreign tourists. Like these two young Westerners, who are clinging to their father's arms as he pulls them into the water. Adorable! ^^

Looking back at the building from the pool, the rooms with a view of the pool on the upper floors are the Lagoon View rooms, while the rooms on the lower floors with direct pool access are the Lagoon Access rooms.

After swimming for a while, if you feel tired, you can take a break and sit by the pool. The resort has placed sun loungers around the pool for your convenience.

After swimming and wading for a while, we arrived at the pool area with a view of the sea. Usually, this area is crowded, but luckily when we arrived, the other guests had just gotten out of the pool, so we had the opportunity to enjoy the pool alone for a while. ^^

Girls will understand that a beautiful swimming pool is not only a place to have fun all day, but also a place to take hundreds of photos! Haha! Both mothers and children are having a great time here.

This beachfront hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere for guests who enjoy strolling along the shore and breathing in the fresh air. Families with children can also enjoy playing in the sand, as the beach in front of the hotel is exceptionally clean.

The next morning, we had breakfast at The Deck restaurant. The restaurant overlooks the garden and swimming pool. The buffet line offers a wide variety of Thai and Western dishes, such as rice porridge, congee with side dishes like Chinese sausage, minced pork, salted egg, and deep-fried dough sticks; egg station; sausages; bacon; various breads; freshly made waffles; cereals; salads; fruit juices; and various types of milk. It is clear that the hotel has put a lot of thought and effort into providing a wide variety of options to please guests of all ages. There is sure to be a menu that will appeal to everyone.

A two-day, one-night stay here left me feeling refreshed and re-energized. If you're looking for a place to stay near Hua Hin, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't regret it!
