Introduction

This is my first time reviewing accommodation, as I usually focus on travel reviews. However, I was so impressed with my recent stay at Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort that I felt compelled to share my experience. The trip came about unexpectedly when I saw a deal for the resort on Tooktrip.com for only 1990 baht. I immediately sent a screenshot to my friend and asked, "Should we go?" The beautiful resort and affordable price were too good to pass up, and my friend readily agreed.
As we had all visited Koh Chang before, we decided to focus on relaxation and leisure during this trip. We spent most of our time at the resort, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery. Therefore, the photos in this review will mainly showcase the resort's amenities and surroundings.

Transportation

We chose to take a van from Hua Lamphong, which will take us directly to our accommodation for a round-trip price of 1,400 baht.
Pros: Convenient, no need to transfer.
Cons: It feels like we're wasting a day traveling. In my opinion, taking the bus from Ekkamai, leaving at 5 pm and arriving in the morning, would be better.
Check out the van link for another option. http://www.kohchangclub.com/transfer-2.html

The long wait for the ferry during the holiday weekend was excruciating, taking about two and a half hours. On the way back, my friend dropped me off at the ferry terminal, where another car was waiting to pick me up. This was much faster, as the queue for the ferry was five kilometers long (really, five kilometers, no exaggeration, I saw the sign as we drove past).

Has crossed.

Accommodation

Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort

Located on Klong Prao Beach, we arrived after dark. While my friends checked in, I snuck away to take some photos.

We booked a Deluxe room. It's in this building, a bit far from the beach.

Twin bed room

The room has a sofa for relaxing and a balcony outside. (I forgot to take a picture.)

The next morning, on the way to breakfast at the dining room, I took pictures as I walked. The pool was right next to our accommodation.

If I return to Koh Chang, I will stay in a villa. I love the abundance of trees.

The restaurant is located right on the beach. As we visited on a public holiday, it was quite crowded. Therefore, we did not take any photos of the atmosphere (out of consideration for other guests, and also because we didn't plan to write a review at that time).

Let's take a walk on the beach after we're full.

After a short walk, it's time to change clothes and go swimming.

The upper pool has a slide and a bar serving refreshing drinks.

Move to the lower pool by the sea.

Enjoy the scenery while playing in the water.

At Cenvaree Spa, there was a tempting promotion for Thai massage, reduced from 1500 to 990. We couldn't resist!

Reception table for waiting

Welcome drink

Sea salt is used for exfoliating the skin.

Foot scrubbing is mandatory before receiving any other services here.

Singing Bell for relaxation.

The massage was excellent. I actually prefer oil massages, but I couldn't resist the discount. I'll have to go back and try again next time.

The massage is just finished in time for the sunset. Let's go watch the sun go down together.

Night swimming pool

For dinner, we took a songthaew to eat outside. We went to Je-Iew Sea Food and another restaurant, Friend Sea Food, which we found on Wongnai. Both restaurants were delicious. The hotel also had a 999 baht seafood buffet, but we were four people, so it would have cost 4,000 baht. We couldn't overcome our cheapness. 😭

On another day on Koh Chang, we continued to cycle through sleeping, eating, and playing in the water at the resort. There was also an elephant camp in front of the resort where you could ride an elephant for 500 baht per round or buy food to feed them for 100 baht per set.

Additionally,

The resort area has many fruit shops and general restaurants, making it quite convenient. There are also 7-Eleven and Lotus's stores nearby, so even without a car, it's not a problem.

I hope this is helpful for those who are looking for accommodation on Koh Chang. Thank you to everyone who has read this far. Goodbye. __/\__
